时间过得真快，一眨眼，快乐的寒假生活即将结束，回顾整个寒假，我觉得我过得充实而又快乐。

刚放寒假不久，我们全家来了一次大扫除，那天一大早，我们就开始分工：爸爸擦柜子，妈妈擦地板，我擦玻璃。

说行动就行动，我先拿报纸将玻璃仔细地擦了一遍，然后找来了“好帮手”“一擦净”。我把里面的两块海棉弄湿，将“一擦净”的一半放在里面，另一半放在外面，紧贴着玻璃，“啪”吸胶吸住了，我用线牵住外面的一半，然后有顺序地一上一下移动。我一口气擦了

五扇窗，擦过的窗户干净极了，甚至让爸爸看外面时，撞起了一个包。

为了奖励我，爸爸答应去钓鱼的时候也带上我，但前提是我不能发出声音。我连连答应。几天后，爸爸带我来到野外的一个大池塘，拿出钓鱼竿，帮我放上蚯蚓，我选了一个地方，把它甩下去，然后静静地等着鱼上钩。等了半天，一点动静也没有，我几乎想扔下钓鱼竿去玩了，可一看爸爸的桶里已经有好几条鱼了，又不甘心输给他，就只好拿着鱼竿干等，眼睛直勾勾的盯着浮标，忽然浮标微微颤动了一下，我揉揉眼睛，它又动了一下，我确信鱼上钩，就一把将鱼竿提起，哈哈，一条大鱼，我朝爸爸昂了昂头，爸爸也用惊讶的目光看着我，我真是太开心了!

有了一个好的开头，我自信了，不再轻易想放弃了。于是，幸运女神降临到了我头上，大鱼小鱼都来吃鱼饵，我来了一次大丰收。回到家，爸爸妈妈都不得不向我竖起大拇指，我也好佩服自己。

对了，你的寒假过得怎么样，是不是也像我一样充实而又快乐呢?

Life is blending with bitter and sweet. Sometimes we may feel blue and don’t know what to do, but you just need to cheer up and find the true happiness in your life. Everyone is longing for happiness. But what is happiness? Different people have different opinions to happiness. Some people think making large sum of money and spending all of it on big mansion, expensive food, pretty clothes and fancy cars make them happy; some people think marry to the people they love and live a plain life is happiness, even though they can not afford a bigger house or a brand-new car；And some other people think that don’t need to go to work and sleep in the bed until the noon is happiness. Apparently, the definition of happiness varies from person to person.

For me, staying in good health and have a long vacation without homework is happiness. Good health is the foundation of happiness. Picture this, if I sick, I will go to the hospital, and there are a lot of funny things I can’t do because I feel uncomfortable. I will lose my appetite for the delicious food, and have no strength to go outside to play with my friends. What’s worse, in order to cure the illness, I will sallow countless pills and some of them may have side effects. Only a well function body can ensure the life to be happy. While a long vacation will give me affluent time to do the things I want to. If I can spend my time to do the things I want instead of homework, I definitely will be very happy. I really love traveling; I plan to go to Tibet on next long vacation. To see the beautiful scenes of the different places can broaden my horizon and enrich my life experience. “莫笑农家腊酒浑，丰年留客足鸡豚”史老师告诉我们这陆游诗句的意思是说：农村人招待客人时酒可能一般，但饭菜会很丰盛。今年是个丰收年，史老师带我们去他的老家体验了一回农家乐。

我们到了“田园农家乐”后，首先是体验干农活，只见两个服务员抬来一筐玉米棒，又拿来几个不锈钢盆，让我们比赛剥玉米，比赛规则是在规定时间内谁剥的又快又多，谁就为胜利者。比赛一声令下，我赶紧拿着两个玉米放在盆子上对敲，玉米四处乱溅。我看其他人有的用手抠玉米，有的用锥子划玉米，只有史老师在用两个玉米相互对搓，这样做既不费力，又剥的非常快。我也照着他的方法搓，效果果然很好，我才明白剥玉米也有诀窍。

比赛完后，厨师要用我们剥的玉米做一桌玉米宴。有服务员要劈柴生火，我也想体验一下劈柴，于是拿起斧头胡乱劈了起来，结果劈了半天一根也没劈开。服务员决定教我，他让我竖起柴棒，对准裂纹使劲用力劈，我照做果然成功了。

最后，我们吃上了含有自己劳动成果的玉米宴，面对一桌子的玉米饼、玉米羹以及鸡鸭鱼肉，我吃的津津有味，也真正体会到了陆游诗句的大意。

My schoool life is busy and fantastic. First, we have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. We have to get to school before 7:30 because we have a morning class. Second, I like my school life because teachers and my classmates are friendly and helpful. We also have lots of after-school activies. Third, our school environment is very beautiful, the teachers all can make their lesson interesting and instructive. So I like my school life very much.

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion， accidents and fast fuel consumption， cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time， they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful， causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai， some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas， which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough， most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole， the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government， the public and the environmentalists.
