I used to be fond of skating. But now things have changed because of a horrible experience.

One winter, the weather was so cold that water turned into ice. One day on my way home, when seeing a frozen lake, I thought that the ice must be thick enough to support me. Being so interested in skating, I couldnt help going down and sliding on the ice. Suddenly, I heard a sound of crack. Looking down, I saw the crack on the ice surface. To me ,the most interesting subject is English.But I find studying English is very difficult.So if you ask which subject is the most difficult to me.My answer will be English.Now I am a student,everyday I have more than one English classes,I like studying it very much and I hope I can study it very well,so I can talk with foreigners and know the foreign countries things,it is very useful.

The Great Wall is the symbol and pride of China,and it is famous all over the world.

But,do you know about it?Let me tell you something about it.The Great Wall was first built during the Qin Dynasty,which was the beginning of the Feudal Society of China.Hower,it was not what it is now.It was very short.The following dynasties continued to build it It became longer and longer and finally reached to about 5000 kilometres,winding from the Shanhai Pass,north-east of China to the Jiayu Pass,north-west China.

Being solid and strong ,the Great Wall acted a very important part,protecting the governors and their people from being attacted by their enemies in ancient China.

Nowadays,the Great Wall has become one of well-known interesting places of China,attracting millions of visitors througth the world.

This winter holiday I stayed at home. If you want to ask me why we should study English, my answer will be simple and clear. Now let me enumerate the reasons one by one in the following.In the first place, English has become an international language. If you know English, you van make a trip round the world without being misunderstood.In the second place, most valuable books, newspapers and magazines are written in English. If you wish (hope) to get knowledge, you must learn English.

因为人的记忆力有选择啊，有的人天生对语言天生敏感，所以记得就快，有的人对历史敏感，记忆历史就比别人快。所以人的记忆力不能一概而论，这是我多年学习的经验，和个人理解。

第一，你不要把英语单词当成中文的象形文字来记，中文的记忆有形象关系，但是单词时无意义的字母排序，背得时候一定要理解英语的发音规律，先要记没个单词的发音，有的发音如tioneror什么的你一定发现了几个字母组合法特定的音，按发音记！

有时候宁肯先记发音！

因为有时候，你甚至能根据发音，你自己就能写出来，何必要背。其实英语的字母单词，不是很规律的，不想拼音的，但还是有一定的规律。

其实背英语单词，不能死记是真的，但是一定要持之以恒，首先要有心理准备，要有自信。

你背英语单词的时候可以边默读便用笔在一张纸上写，就是随便写一些，主要是加深印象。

我的习惯是第一次背时先写5遍/单词，隔天写3遍/单词。过一段时间再重复。这样记虽然慢，但是很扎实。

而且还要注意，背单词应该背词典，就是你背一个词的形式，比如名词，最好翻阅词典，把其他的形式也给背过。这样看起来，似乎比较费脑子，实际上我认为，这样无形中很快，因为你背单词就是要用在阅读上，这样背的话既实用又能无形中体会出英语的变形规律，以后就会背的很快乐。

英语背单词，实际取决于你已经背的单词量。
