In my early years, I did not see the value of education.

When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.

One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.

I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. I knew that only a well- rounded education could guarantee my success in the future.

When I was eighteen, I had to make a decision to continue doing business or go back to school. There was one obstacle keeping me from getting an advanced education. I had only completed elementary school up to that point. I then went back to senior high school after four months of tutoring in different subjects. Being at school for the first time after so many years was somewhat embarrassing because my classmates were at least two or three years younger than I. I concluded that my age did not matter. The important thing was getting into college.

I took the College Entrance Exams. Although my math exam result was only one point below the required score. I never gave up hope. The following year, I took it again and received the highest score in my city. Achieving such an amazing result gave me encouragement and courage necessary to continue my education to the next step.

I am now in my second year of college and know that it is never too late to learn. My passion for studying and improving myself will never come to a halt as long as I continue to live.

“Live and Learn.” is the motto I have adopted. I believe with an education I will succeed. So, if you are wondering whether education is important, don’t hesitate a moment to step up and seize the opportunity.

Every little girl will have her dream aboutprince. I always dream of a half-blood prince coming to me, just like the snowwhite and Cinderella in the fairy tale. 顾名思义，“梦想世界”是个充满梦想的世界。那里有许多国家。我先说说水果国。水果国里的东西全和水果有关，有水果房、水果家具、水果电器、水果衣服、水果地、水果天空、水果云……在水果国里，你的全身都不脏不臭，因为有水果的保养。如果你想游泳，那水果国游泳池里的水全是果汁，想喝就喝。如果想吃水果，那就随便找一处你喜欢的水果，吃上几口就可以了。请不要担心水果会被吃完，因为你吃一口水果，那个水果就又会长出果肉，所以水果永远都吃不完。水果云也是水果国的一大特色。水果云各式各样，有荔枝云、西瓜云、芒果云、梨云、葡萄云……水果云上还有云做的椅子、桌子、杯子、盘子，杯子里是果汁，盘子里是水果味的饼干。那些云很低，只有一米五左右，所以你可以找一片你喜欢的云，坐上去，让云带你在天上飞，在天上休息。如果你不小心摔下来了，那你也只会啃几口水果，然后在水果地上蹦上几蹦。

水果国的邻国是饭国，那里满天满地都是饭。有中餐，有西餐，还有外星人吃的特殊餐。那里还有馒头山，山上不仅有馒头，还有超大号的汉堡包和香肠。

那里还有个水国。水国里有清凉可口的泉水，也有各种饮料。有时，天上还下新型饮料呢！

动物国是动物们的乐园。动物国里有嫩嫩的小草和“动物树”。食肉动物饿了，不吃其它动物，只吃动物树上长出的“动物”。所以，这里的动物相处得很和谐。如果人来了，它们就会热情招待人，并且让他们骑在长颈鹿背上溜达一圈。对了，那些动物还会说人话呢！

还有一个神秘的国家，那就是有惊无险国。它专门锻炼人的胆量。树们会用树枝把人卷起来仍到空中，再接住他，然后好像要把人重重地摔在地上，可是就在要落地的一霎那，树枝忽然停下来，把人放下。往往被卷到的人会被吓得屁滚尿流，可他的胆子是会变大的。

此外，还有普通国、森林国、书国、玩具国……

哈哈，多好玩的梦想世界啊！我是多么希望梦想成真。

青春是值得我们怀念的，人生的路途不可能一片光明，“不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹”。当我们遇到一定的困难时，应该坚持不懈地去突破它，而不是去逃避，只有这样，我们才能够见到胜利的光芒。

Many people say that dream is only the thing for children to have. But in my opinion, each of us in the world should have his or her dreams all through the life. With a dream, you can fly further; with a dream, you will be stronger; with a dream, you will be successful easily.

是的，离开了父母，确实变得自由，起初也很高兴，因为不再受父母的管制。久而久之，却黯然落泪。虽然离开了父母，自己能独立照顾好自己，却回忆中总是父母细心的呵护，后悔不该离开父母的天空。然而，在冥冥之中，却飞进友情的天空，一双双温暖的手，让我体会到父母呵护下所没有体会过的爱。这爱圣洁，这爱纯真，这爱让我忘却伤痛。我过得很开心，可是……

After seeing so many movies about the youth, we are starting to wonder about what do we have in our youth, the fight, the drink or the love?

My answer is no.

What we see from the movie is not true, the plots are exaggerated and misunderstood.

For students, their youth is the process of fighting. They have studied so hard to realize their dreams.

When they are in primary school, they want to do well and make their parents be proud of them.

现在的孩子，谁没有梦，谁不做梦，梦想完全占据了我们的时间，但有的是美梦，有的只是做梦，做得好无意义的梦，做的空虚无味的梦，那是因为，他们不懂什么是梦想，说我们九零后的是幻想型，不错，我们爱幻想，我们爱做梦。但我们完全不懂梦，不理解他。

So I studied hard in the middle school and college in order to attain my goal.

After graduating from, college, I found a job as a teacher. Although I was very busy with teaching, I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes, I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot my meals and time. Now I have made great progress. Several of my research papers have been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to be valuable for the solution of some problems. I am very happy. The ladder of becoming a scientist is still far ahead, but I have climbed the first rung anyway.

The International Childrens Day (ICD) is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.

The ICD had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the ICD: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

June 1 has since been observed as the ICD by numerous countries, especially by Communist countries; in the Western world the ICD is usually celebrated on other days of the year (if at all)， and there is often little public awareness about these celebrations. (See the section on Germany below for further discussions.) Consequently there is sometimes a misperception that June 1 as the ICD was a Communist invention. Nonetheless, in recent years even some groups within the United States started observing the ICD on June 1.

Yesterday,we had a discussion.The topic is.What is my dream?Every one has his dream.Some want to be teachers,others want to be scientists.My dream is to become a doctor.

My friends asked me why.I told them my story.When I was a small boy I was very weak.Once I was terribly iii.I had a high fever.My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me.Then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town.They took me there.I was saved.

A good doctor can save people s lives.From then on I decided to become a doctor.I know it is not easy to be a doctor.But I am determined to study hard.I am sure my dream will come true.
