On the other hand, there are not only specific individual responsibilities in diverse areas but also some fundamental values and accountabilities, which we all human beings cherish. From the moment one can speak or even is born, the society begins to instill the moral and ethical standards, which is so called humanity in every one‘s mind. The older one is, the deeper influence the humanity would be. When one is just a little child, he would go directly to what he like and claim it. Then when he is old enough, he would realize that it is incorrect and ashamed. And because of the awareness of what is right and wrong, one would probably never do any misdeed again. Everyone can do something for our environment.As a student, we should build the sense of frugality in our daily life in the school.I always turn off the lights in the classroom when I leave.Both sides of the paper can be used if it is possible.After school, I bear the consciousness of environment protection in mind.In order to protect the forest I often refuse to use the paper cups and disposable chopsticks consciously.I believe that individual contribution to the environment will build a more beautiful world.

I love to read. When I was three years old, my parents had taught me to

read. They bought me some books with funny and colorful pictures. Soon I was

attracted by these stories and fell in love with reading. Since I went to

school, I often went to the library and it was my favorite place. Studying in

the library provided me a silent environment. The most important thing was that

as so many excellent students sat around me. I felt the great motivation to move

on. I could find the data any time and read the books I liked. I have gained a

lot of knowledge and find the great hour there.

Presently, the world is faced with serious water problems. But these problems witt become more intense and more complex in the future. Our increasing population witt tremendously increase urban waters, primarily sewage. On the other hand, increasing demands for water witt decrease substantially the amount of water available for diluting wastes. Rapidly expanding industries which involve more and more complex chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. Many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. To feed our rapidly expanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified. This will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. From this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

There are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. The first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. This involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal. The second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. Farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. Wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained. Liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. Only by doing these promptly now can we expect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

Sunday, my mother and I go to buy vegetables. I went to the vegetable market on the edge of the river, on the surface of the river is in a plastic bag, selling vegetables in plastic bags, people are using plastic bags, I remember the teacher said: a plastic bag to one square metre of land always useless, but for twenty years.

For our children, for our beautiful home, Ill initiative to use less plastic bags, shopping with a basket to let everyone keep up a potted flower. Love our earth, the love of beauty a pieces of foam grass dont use disposable chopsticks and lunch boxes. Stay away from the white pollution.

星期天，我和妈妈去买菜。我来到了菜市场边上的小河一看，小河的水面上都是塑料袋，卖菜的人在用塑料袋，人们也在用塑料袋，我想起老师说的话：一个塑料袋会把一平方米的地永远没用，可是要二十年。

为了我们的子孙后代，为了我们的美好家园，由我来倡议大家少用塑料袋，买菜用菜篮子让大家养起一盆花。爱我们的地球，爱美一片草地不用一次性筷子和泡沫饭盒。远离白色污染。

With the quickly development in the economic field in nowadays,the resources on the earth get fewer and fewer. As we all know, the earth is the only home to everybody. So we can learnt from it is how important is the environment for our community. However, in order to protecting it,there is no doublt something must to be done with all of us.

First of all, in my opinion, I think as a member in the home of the unique earth, all of us should have the minds to construct a environmentally friendly society. so, I am appeal all of you to protect the environment together. And do what the little things near by you.

Then, the views what I agree is that: on one hand, learn more environment protecting knowledge in free time, and keep it in mind and do it .on the other hand, set an example for all the people.

The last but not least, everybody must keep it in mind is there’s no denying we have only an earth ,we must keep it from environment breaking, for us and everyone on the earth.

In a word, we must do the little things near to us from this moment, and remember it everywhere and everytime.

Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from the serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living surroundings.

Our environment is getting worse and worse now. People throw their garbage here and there. Factories make more and more dirty water that has polluted the rivers and lakes. What should we do?

We must find ways to stop pollution. Waste water must be cleaned before it is poured into the river. People shouldn‘t throw away rubbish here and there. We should pick up the garbage around us. We‘d better plant more trees.

I‘m sure if we take care of our environment, our world will be more beautiful!

现在我们的环境越来越糟。人们把他们的垃圾这里和那里。工厂使越来越多的脏水污染了河流和湖泊。我们应该做些什么呢?

我们必须找到方法来制止污染。废水必须清洁之前倒进河里。人们不应该到处扔垃圾。我们应该捡起身边的垃圾。我们最好种植更多的树木。
