Last but not the least important, there is no denying the fact that our country is still poor. There are many people who cannot go to university and many poor people still need our help.

As far as I am concerned, I should set a good example to reduce waste on campus. First of all, I will refrain from wasting anything, from food to stationery. What’s more, I’m determined to call on more schoolmates to fight against waste. Only through these measures can we hope to reduce waste on campus.

During these two years, we have seen many movies about the youth, the

directors try to remind people of their passed early days. Indeed, when people

see the movie, they feel the situation is so familiar that they could not help

thinking about their days in the school. As for me, when I see the movie, I will

think about my high school days, it was so unforgettable for me, my friends and

I studied so hard together, our strong friendship was built at that time, the

stupid things we did always makes me laugh. Everyone will have an unforgettable

memory in their early life, the memory fulfills their life.

大家好!今天我演讲的主题是《保护环境在我心》。

地球是人类的母亲，她把自己的一切献给了人类以及同在地球上的万物，却不渴望一丝回报，他的资源是我们共同的财产，所以保护环境就成了我们理所应当的责任。可总有一些贪婪的人，不断的向地球母亲伸出魔爪，通过破坏环境，获取地球上仅有的资源……

破坏环境的现象随处可见，就拿我们湘乡来说吧，我们湘乡的建材市场路旁时刻可以看见挂着的衣服，几条通道里到处散放着一堆堆掺杂着煤球、烂菜叶和快餐盒等废弃物品;水果市场随时随地都得注意地面，见到烂了的水果，商家熟练的往外一扔，来往的行人一不小心就会踩到“地雷”;农贸市场更是不得了，到处垃圾遍地，多得简直让人迈不开步，许多卖菜的一边吆喝，一边把一些烂得不成样的蔬菜随手扔在路旁，原本脏兮兮的地面更是臭不可闻。汽车大量排放的尾气与随地焚烧的垃圾，使空气大量污染;在道路两旁垃圾随处可见，严重影响了城市美观……

这一个个细节体现了城市公民的品德，这种.种现象表明了人们根本没有保护环境的意识，政府以及其它部门都只是把保护环境挂在嘴边，真正去行动的又有多少人呢?我们湘乡还只是小城市，这些还算是小破坏，大城市的破坏就更大了。所以大家一定要有保护环境的意识，要为我们的子孙后代着想。有人说，我虽然捡了垃圾，但别人仍在不断丢，岂不是白做了。大家千万不要有这样的想法，一个小小的捡垃圾行为，就可以减少多少的垃圾，就可以让一座城市都变得精神焕发，也给所有的市民都传递了正能量和新面貌，“保护环境，从我做起!”

How to protect the environment has become one of the biggest problems in the world .

It’s our duty to protect our environment . No matter where we live , we should do something to keep our neighborhood clean and tidy . We can collect waste paper or other waste things for recycling. We should plant more trees and we should prevent those factories from pouring waste water into rivers, lakes and fields. We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere and spit in public places . We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass in public. If everyone tries his best to protect the environment , the world will become much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .

I am a child of the suns mother, my name is called the earth. I used to live happy, wake up in the morning, light rain "hua" to give me a bath; People planted many trees and flowers in my body, to get dolled up on me, then, clean running around the sun mother I, let the sun mother look at my new skirt. Because it make me a bad meal every day, sleep well, so, I got sick, floods, earthquakes often... Some said 2012 could be the end of me. 我是太阳妈妈的孩子，我的名字叫地球。我以前生活的很快乐：早上一醒来，小雨就“哗啦啦”地给我洗澡;人们在我身上种了很多花草树木，把我打扮得漂漂亮亮的，然后，干干净净的我就围着太阳妈妈转来转去，让太阳妈妈看看我的新裙子。下午，孩子们放学了，就和我一起写作业，一起和我玩。晚上，人们也把我打扮的很漂亮，他们给我身上安上路灯，把我打扮的金灿灿的……太阳妈妈说：“人类还真好，不仅把你打扮的很漂亮，还和你一起玩，你真是太有福气，太幸运了!”

可是现在，人类也不像太阳妈妈说的那么好了。他们在我身上乱扔垃圾，把我搞得浑身脏兮兮的，人类的“车”还爱排放尾气，雨下下来的全是脏水，把我越洗越脏;人们还爱乱砍伐树木花草，破坏路灯，把他们给我的衣服也搞得的烂烂的，脏脏的……太阳妈妈劝我说：“你还是摆脱那些人类吧!”可是好心的我又不忍心丢下他们。因为这件事让我每天吃不好饭，睡不好觉，所以，我就生病了，经常发洪水、地震……还有人说2012年可能是我的末日。人们在这些灾难中，意识到了这都是他们破坏我而造成的，于是他们又开始关心我，爱护我了!我相信以后的日子里，我一定会变得更加美丽、漂亮的!
