history and creates many splendid cultures. The ancient culture once had great

the main schools created in ancient China, and they also have great influence on

我的家乡原来是很漂亮的，清澈的河水干干净净的，还有小鱼在水里游来游去。树木葱葱郁郁的，远远看去密集得像一片片绿色的地毯……

可是现在，树木差不多被砍光了，泥石流不断地涌来，许许多多的人由于泥石流丧失了生命。小鸟没了家，只好在天空中不停地流浪。烟囱不停地冒出黑烟，把氧气转化成了不能呼吸的二氧化碳。天空中原本雪白的云朵儿，现在却变成乌黑乌黑的，像一团团发霉的棉花糖。水也被污染了，黑乎乎的一片，鱼儿根本没办法在那里生存。菜市场更糟糕，鸭毛、鸡毛随处可见，鱼摊更是乱七八糟的一片。一眼望去，能看见好多五颜六色的塑料袋，风一吹，那些塑料袋就翩翩起舞，在风的吹拂下这些塑料袋各显其能，好像在对我们说：“谢谢你们，要不是你们人类生产我们，就不会有我们的今天，真是太谢谢你们了！”

Dragon Boat race Traditions

At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. Tzung Tzu

A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu. This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Luo river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.

Ay Taso

The time of year of the Dragon Boat Festival, the fifth lunar moon, has more significance than just the story of Qu Yuan. Many Chinese consider this time of year an especially dangerous time when extra efforts must be made to protect their family from illness. Families will hang various herbs, called Ay Tsao, on their door for protection. The drinking of realgar wine is thought to remove poisons from the body. Hsiang Bao are also worn. These sachets contain various fragrant medicinal herbs thought to protect the wearer from illness.

The Ten-minute Break Between Classes Time seems to be so limited for us Senior Three students. As a result, more and more students try to study from early morning till late afternoon, even during the ten-minute breaks. In my view, taking a ten minute break between classes is equally important. Otherwise, we will feel exhausted both physically and mentally,During the ten minute break, we are supposed to do something really relaxing, we need is to have a rest, instead of getting more tired. High school life is so wonderful for me, and I have made many good friends.

We fight for our future together. As there are so many subjects for me to learn,

I spend most of the time studying knowledge. But deep in my heart, I like sports

so much, especially tennis. When I knew our school had tennis club. I felt so

excited and wanted to be part of it. But the problem was that what if I lagged

behind other students in study as I spent the time on this hobby. At last, I

still decided to join tennis club, because I wanted to do something special and

一路上，我穿过了一片片的水草，看到了很多贝壳。我开心地游啊游，游到了鱼群之中。

最初的日子，我在鱼群里过得还不错，开心地聊天，无聊时吐几个泡泡，生活惬意极了。直到有一天，河岸边来了许多人，在河边建造了一个村庄。我们起初还相安无事，不知何时开始不停地往小河中扔垃圾，排放污水。破坏了水中的生态环境，原来清澈的小河变黑了，还散发着恶臭。水草也逐渐枯萎死掉了。我身边的小伙伴们身体一天不如一天了。刚刚出生的鱼宝宝抵抗力太弱，适应不了水中的环境，没能长大。而一些在战斗中受伤的勇士，也没能战胜病毒的伤害。还有鱼群中的老人们也因日益恶劣的水质，提前去世了。我们不仅要抵抗适应环境的变化，而且还要提防水中各种各样的诱饵、陷阱。都是村庄里的人们为了捕捞我的兄弟姐妹而设下的。周围的鱼群越来越小，伙伴们的种类也越来越少。直到有一天水中只有我一个了，我万分惊恐，四处游动，想寻找一个同类，不，哪怕水中的一个生命也行，可惜一个也没找到。我哭了，我成了一条整日哭泣的鱼，一条你看不见泪水的鱼。我昏倒了，猛地醒来，发现之前的一切都是一场噩梦！

I am a student in Huaxing Middle School. Do you know the plastic bags? Do you often use the plastic bags? I don’t like them. I think they use the wasting valuable oil their production. And they can’t decompose(分解) in a short time. The plastic bags will make our world worse. I agree with the rule, which people can’t get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It encourages people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It’s good for our environment.

今天我从小区里看到了这样一幕。

小区里的广场边有几个垃圾桶，垃圾桶旁边总会有一大堆的垃圾，还有许许多多的苍蝇在上面乱飞，散发着令人呕吐的气味，臭气熏天，不过每天都会有一位清洁工阿姨去清扫，她忍着恶心，一点一点的把垃圾清理干净，让空气变得清新。可是有一些人还是改不了乱丢垃圾的习惯，有些人把没喝完的酸奶直接扔到了正在清理垃圾的阿姨旁边，她依然辛勤的为大家清理垃圾。

是我感悟到：保护环境，是我们最基础的事，难道连“保护”两字也做不到吗？你想想，如果将垃圾扔到河里，可能会让河水污染，甚至会让鱼儿们死亡；如果将垃圾扔到空中，或许会污染空气，使天空雾蒙蒙的。

如果人人都意识到乱扔垃圾的害处，或许会给城市增添一份干净。这样，天会更蓝，空气更清新。

保护地球，保护生态环境是我们每一个人的责任，这是我们都知道的一句话，可有多少人能真正做到这一句话呢？

记得我有一次去外婆家，外婆家里都干干净净的，却有一股酸酸臭臭的气味从窗户传过来，我跑过去一看，原来是一条小河，只见那条小河浑身发黑发臭，风一吹，臭味迎面扑来，使人不得不紧紧捂住口鼻，而且还有许多纸袋在河面上飘着，这条河怎么会这样呢？我带着疑问去问了外婆，外婆他说“在我小时候，这条河清澈无比，有许多小鱼小虾在河里面欢快的生活，而且没到夏天炎热的时候，我们都会成群结队的到河里游泳或抓一些小鱼小虾回去。而现在，人们不讲卫生，把垃圾扔到河里，逐渐的，河水发黑发臭，小鱼小虾全都死了。在夏天时，别说游泳了，连经过时也要捂住鼻口，迅速走过”。“那没人管吗？”我又问道。外婆回答说“我们曾经在河边立了一个牌子，上面写着：‘爱护小河，请别往小河扔垃圾，所以就不管了。”听完外婆的话我陷入了沉思，如果时间上人人到处扔垃圾的话，那地球上一定会脏乱不堪吧。所以请爱护地球，保护生态环境。

保护环境，从我做起，从点点滴滴做起，我们应该保护花草树木，珍稀水质源。如果每个人都少用一滴水，那一定能使一条条干枯的小河重获升级。为了地球的明天，人类的未来，让我们行动起来，节约能源，保卫家园，从我们身边做起。

In modern society, we tend to become more and more aware of our living environment or physical environment, because we are not clean as before. So many people now choose their house as to its environment but not its location and expenses to afford it. As we all know, the environment pollution is more and more serious during these years, what we could do is to make great efforts in protecting environment gradually. As to government pollution, as to common people. We also try to protect it and make it remain clean. Although we have managed to protect the environment to a certain extent. It is still a very long way to go.

Protect our enviorment The earth is our home,we must take care of it.We shoule make a less pollution as we know everybody in north America makes 1000 kilograms of the garbage everyday. Most of it is packaging Most of garbage turns into soil but not to plastic,plastic keeps for many years it will pollute our environment so we shouldn’t waste thing we should make some things for recycling .
