quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach

我的生活中有了您，才幸福。常听大人说：那是在二零零四年九月份我提前来到这个美丽的世界。刚生下来很小身体很弱。医生都说：“可以不要了太小养不活。”但您并没有放弃我。那时候的我体重一斤八两。脑袋只有拳头大小，脚掌也只有大拇指那么大小。在我出院回到家时您也操了不少心。在我保温这上面绞尽脑汁。比如：开电热毯又怕我烤“熟”了；开空调也只是表面暖和……这些方法都没起到实际性的作用。最后还是想到了用棉花隔着装满热水的杯子在我身体围了一圈怕烫伤我。同时还开着空调。在我喝牛奶时因为太小只能滴管一滴一滴的喂，这一喂就是两个多小时。因为太小怕我营养跟不上。您总是每天给我熬鱼汤榨果汁给我喝。榨果汁也很麻烦首先要把水果皮和果核去掉，榨出果汁再用布过滤几次再放碗里用滴管滴我喝。有一次不知怎的喝奶时呛住了我顿时脸色青了，过一会全白了没一点血色。您急了带着我跑遍彭山所知道的医院。医生说：“没救了。”就在话间我突然“咳”一声脸色回过来了。

长大的我也让您操劳不少心。就拿我近视这件事来说吧。在我小学时总喜欢把左侧脸放在桌子上写字。您发现了这个坏习惯，在我做作业时总是守着我寸步不离，一见我头偏您就轻轻敲我的头提醒我写字姿势不对。

您用您那甜美的声音哄我睡觉，从小我依偎在您身边，长大了也给您增添烦恼。早上最早起床的是您；晚上最晚睡觉的也是您。我哭泣您难过；我开心，您快乐。您在我身边分担着我的烦恼，鼓励着我，伴随我成长。您为我们做了许多事，在您眼中我就是您的一切。每次我学习沮丧低落时您总给我力量挑战自己，相信自己只要努力就是会做到更好。我就是最棒的。

自由了，太好了，父母要出去需要一个星期才会回来，这段时间我可以疯个够了。

父母临走前，絮絮叨叨一大堆，非常舍不得。而我呢则是一个劲的说：没事，你们放心吧，我会照顾自己的。送走了父母，我痛快地往沙发上一躺，电视打开，尽情享受乐趣。

可好景不长，才一天过去，我就急迫地希望父母赶紧回来，因为我不会做饭，所以第一天吃的方便面，而今天就没得吃了。我只好随便吃点什么垫一下肚子了。第三天晚上，我又因为没盖好被子感冒了，鼻子难受死了。倒数第二天，实在没什么吃了，邻居把我叫到他家吃了一餐，明天妈妈就会回来了。

这天，父母回来了，我飞奔到他们面前，就大哭了起来，抱怨这几天的生活。妈妈安慰着我、哄着我。

中午，妈妈为我做了一顿丰盛的大餐，我吃的津津有味，那时我仿佛就在天堂一般享受着人间美味。

我回忆着在那段自由的日子里，明白了为什么会那样。是因为我没有独立性，我应该学会做饭、洗衣，以便在下一次自由的日子不让自己像这次一样狼狈。

人人都向往自由，摆脱麻烦和烦恼，然而没有基础是建立不起自由的。如果你不会做饭，你怎样解决你的一日三餐问题？如果你不会洗衣，你怎样保持自身干净？所以自由不一定是好的。

自由对于鸟儿来说，蓝天就是自由。自由对于动物来说，森林就是自由。自由对于人类来说，摆脱烦恼就是自由。

有了那段我永生难忘的自由的日子，让我明白很多自己应该自立自强的事情。

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month (农历史五月第五天)

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意义的)holiday celebrated (庆祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (历史最悠久). The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs (传统习俗)to attempts to (试图)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (爱国诗人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹叶) filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

The celebrations is a time for protection (防护) from evil (邪恶) and disease (疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (营养品), and displaying (展示) portraits (画像) of evils nemesis(邪恶报应), Chung Kuei. If one manages to (成功做...) stand (直立)an egg on its end at exactly 12:00 noon, the following year will be a lucky one.
