I Like Basketball

My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

With the improvement of living conditions, more and more people can live

longer. However, many old people always suffer from loneliness, which is one of

the major problems in today’s society. To make the old people live better, some

good advice must be followed. Firstly, the young should spare more time to talk

and communicate with their parents, so as to relieve their loneliness. Secondly,

the old ought to understand the work pressure and family burden of the young.

Furthermore, the society are supposed to organize more activities for the old,

这个星期学校在实验高中操场举行了一场隆重的田径运动会。

记得那天，我们早早的就走进了比赛场地。在各个年级的方队和啦啦队载歌载舞中，终于拉开了开幕式的序幕。运动员们雄赳赳、气昂昂地走进了赛场。虽然这次运动会我只是方队中的一名成员，但是我同样的非常认真。开幕式上王校长不仅对参赛的运动员进行了鼓励，而且更关键的是一定要发扬拼搏精神。

比赛开始了，整个操场上都弥漫着一股紧张的气氛。因为他们都想夺得冠军，为班级争光。瞧！那里在进行四年级男生组五十米短跑。我们班的李啸和其他班的同学已经站在了起跑线上。“砰！”枪声一落，李啸就如离弦之箭一般，飞快地朝终点奔去。其他选手也不甘示弱，紧跟其后。眼看别人就要超过他了，我们拉拉队员大声叫喊着：“李啸加油!李啸必胜！……”最终，他第一个冲线。“耶！”我们高兴地欢呼起来。

在短短两天的运动会中，我们班还在女生组五十米、男女一百米、两百米等等比赛中，取得了比较优异的成绩。这些成绩是靠他们用汗水拼来的，而不是凭空得来的，我们要为他们喝彩！
