I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is

joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I

also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft

music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need

a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite

pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the

stage. Their songs are so charming. I admire them very much.

In my spare time, I often sing a song to others. Everyone is so happy to be

my listener, because Im very brave and confident. Even though I couldnt be a

professional singer, I can still get a lot of good fun from singing. Because of

singing, my life becomes more colorful.

My grandmother has a very cute little puppy, it is called Tao Tao. I like it very much.

今天是6月5日————人类的世界环境日。在这一天里人们会召开环保大会，商量保护环境的措施。而与此同时，自然界的环保大会也在悄然进行着。

大家都早早地来到会场。突然，一股恶心的臭味传来，使大家都不由得捂住鼻子。

又接着说：“洁净的空气难道不是生命的必需品吗?但人类却把工厂烟囱里的废气、毒气全部排放在我身上。幸好有树木帮人类和万物净化空气，不然的话，大家吸入被污染的空气都会得病的。

“可惜我们也无能为力了。”一个声音从角落里传出来。

原来是站在旁边的一棵小树在说话，“因为我的同伴越来越少了。我们树木家族对人类有巨大的贡献，我们通过光合作用，吸入二氧化碳，呼出新鲜的氧气，而且我们的树根还能抓住水土，防止水土流失呢!可是人类不但不知道感恩，反而还大肆砍伐我们，使我们家族成员越来越少了，害得小鸟们也无家可归了。”

“我们早已是无家可归者了。”一只东北虎站出来说，“由于森林越来越少，加上人类的猎杀，现在我的家族成员屈指可数，全国野生东北虎只剩下不到20只了。”

最后，大家都沉默了。它们都在想：今天，人类污染环境、破坏大自然，使我们无家可归;明天，他们就会失去赖以生存的家园，同样也会无家可归!

蛤蟆，因为体态丑陋，而被许多人讨厌。我家附近的运河拐角处有一块小河滩就被命名为“蛤蟆滩”，是怎么回事呢？让我们一起来看看吧。

那块河滩里高，外低，由一堆碎砖乱瓦堆成，好象一只拱着屁股朝天蹲着的蛤蟆。河滩上一堆堆垃圾就像蛤蟆身上疙疙瘩瘩的皮。一些从上游顺水漂浮下来的菜叶、废纸，也总爱悄悄地攀上来寻找它们的同类。每当大轮船驶过时，这儿会涌起阵阵浊浪；小船呢，航行到这便“敬而远之”了，否则一不小心，就会被它的屁股拱住——搁浅啦！

偏偏我们这群调皮蛋迷上了那儿，在那儿我们可以拾些碎瓦片打水漂，可以逮到被水冲上岸而困在石缝中的小鱼，当然我们时常踩脏了鞋，划破了脚。于是那儿又成了大人们揪心的“事故多发地段”。每当人们掩鼻而过的时候，每当大人们揪着我们的耳朵往家里去的时候，他们总要说：“唉！这蛤蟆滩啥时候才能变个样呢？”

变了，变了，蛤蟆滩真的变了！

文明建设的新风吹遍祖国大地的时候，也吹到了这个小小的角落。去年的一天下午，运河上开来了一条船，挂着一串小抓斗，“吐噜噜”，不一会儿就把蛤蟆屁股铲了。几天以后，又来了一批工人，在河边筑起了坚固的堤岸，铺上了水泥地坪，还修了一个花坛，在里面栽起了青翠的石竹，种上了挺拔的雪松和美丽的月季……“蛤蟆滩”再也不见旧日的痕迹。人们又给它取了一个新名字——“新花园”。

每当大轮船经过时，“新花园”以它那伟岸的身躯，承受运河的拍击；小船经过时，都不由地放慢了速度，船员们都移目注视它的英姿；当满载着外宾的游艇经过时，外宾们都不约而同地举起相机，把镜头对准了这个曾是垃圾成堆、蚊蝇乱舞的角落。运河边的人们更是喜笑颜开：老人在花坛边乘凉，小孩们在花丛中嬉戏。我和原有的“蛤蟆滩”告别，为现有的“新花园”鼓掌。

啊！别了，往日的“蛤蟆滩”！我虽然再也不能爬上你的浅滩玩打水漂了，再也不能享受逮小鱼、小虾的乐趣了，但我还是由衷地热爱你今天的新貌。我愿文明建设的新风吹遍常州的每个角落，我愿祖国大地处处是繁花似锦的花园。

to the library, as for me, I am in favor of the latter choice. I like to go to

the library. On the one hand, it is quiet. A lot of students just sit in their

places and wont make big noise, which provides an enjoyable environment for

students to study. On the other hand, I can consult many reference books if I

need. The library provides us all kinds of books. We can find help when we have

questions. I find much joy in the library.
