四年级的时候，下午放学我开始自己步行回家了。这一周妈妈回姥姥家了，我上学也要步行到学校了。

早上六点半的闹铃把我从美梦中拉回了现实。我本来想再懒一会床，再和被子瞪一会眼。可一想到今天要自己步行去上学，于是我一下子从床上蹦了起来。

洗刷吃早饭，便踏上了去学校的路。每晚的夜跑不是白练的，我走的速度极快，就像《爱丽丝漫游奇境》里的那只匆匆忙忙去参加宴会的兔子，步伐无比的轻盈急促。

本来我以为路上的人不多，我应该是起得最早的一个吧。但是路上人真不少，有开车上班的，有骑车上学的，有跑步锻炼的。但像我这样步行上学的，我却一个也没看见。

“可能是家长不放心吧，”我心想，“也可能是他们害怕会被坏人拐走吧”。虽然我有点不情愿自己走着上学，但我却不怕。路上行人这么多，坏人怎么敢下手呢，也许坏人们没我起得早，还在被窝里做白日梦呢，我可不会自己吓唬自己的。

早上的太阳又大又红，把周围的云染红了，就像挂在天空的一幅画，美美的映入我的眼帘。早上还是很凉爽的，但是沉沉的书包加上我匆匆的步伐，即便有雨伞般的大树遮阳，我的头上还是布满了密密麻麻的汗珠。

要过十字路口了，又想起了昨天晚上爸爸对我不厌其烦的说教：不能闯红灯，更要注意右拐的车辆。我小鸡啄米似地频频点头，表明对爸爸的千咛万嘱已牢记在心。

我看是绿灯，在确认没有右拐车辆时，顺利地过完了马路。终于看到学校的钟楼了，它似乎在一边向我招手，一边对我说“加油，还有一点距离就到了”。

我感觉身体一下子充满了能量，我的步伐不知不觉地又加快了。终于到了学校，门口冷冷清清的，没有了往日的堵塞和拥挤，来得早就是好啊。
