Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. 不倒翁很小，只有一个手掌那么大，太爷爷常常把它拿在手中把玩。通过阳光的照射，我看见了不倒翁的肚子上刻着一行小字——永远不要承认你是个失败的人。这一行小字散发着木质的光辉，而这束光也直射入我的内心，成为我一生挥之不去的烙印。

而等我真正意识到它对我的影响之深时，已经是我小学三年级时候的事了。那时的我正处于一个十分低落的时期，被学习成绩、课外兴趣班和各种比赛压的不堪一击的我，只能依靠短短的两天运动会来放松身心，我便报了一个四百米的跑步项目，希望能将我身上的压力释放在这赤红的跑道之上。

可刚过了一会儿，我就有些后悔了，跑步确实不是我的强项，我那时连跑完四百米都有些困难，何谈夺得名次呢?但为时已晚，我无法去改变已经定下的名单，只能怀着不安的心情去等待运动会。

而当我站在4道上时，我仍不敢相信我能跑完全程，两边的加油呐喊声更是增加了我内心的压力，“滴——”随着一声尖锐的哨声，我像一支飞出去的箭一样狂奔起来。

但跑着跑着，我发现我的呼吸声越来越粗重，看着他人不断的超越自己，我十分心急，却又无可奈何。

而不知为什么，当时我的眼前，竟浮现出太爷爷在书屋中把玩不倒翁的场景，那行小字此刻十分的显眼，仿佛在告诉我：你不是一个失败的人，你要去战胜自己!我顿时感觉身上充满了力量。我不是一个失败的人!我这样想着，狂奔了起来……最后，我不但跑完了全程，还夺得了第三名的好成绩。

可后来，太爷爷去世了，而不倒翁也不慎遗失了。可那一幅阳光下的画面，我现在还记得，那行小字也一直激励着我。
