The older I grow, the more I appreciate children. Now, at my 80th birthday, I salute them again. Children are the most wholesome part of the race, the sweetest, for they are freshest from the hand of God. Whimsical, ingenious, mischievous, they fill the world with joy and good humor. We adults live a life of apprehension as to what they will think of us; a life of defense against their terrifying energy; a life of hard work to live up to their great expectations. We put them to bed with a sense of relief---and greet them in the morning with delight and anticipation. We envy them the freshness of adventure and the discovery of life. As the saying goes, "A friend in need is a friend indeed". Friends play a very essential role in our daily life. However, how to make goods friends is a problem for most of us. As for me, I have three principles to choose friends.

正如谚语所说的那样，患难见真情。朋友在我们日常生活中扮演着非常重要的角色。然而，如何交到一个好朋友是我们大多数人都遇到过的问题。

In the first place, good friends should have their own principles. We should take into account the fact that people who insist on their principles have high quality. Therefore, it is worth making friends with them.

首先，好朋友应该是有他们自己的处事原则。我们应该认识到这样一个事实，坚持自己原则的人一般都是具有高尚的品格。因此，这样的人值得我们去交朋友。

Then, I want to point out that good friends should be full of trust. This kind of person has a pure heart, so we can communicate with each other by heart.

然后，我想说的是，好的朋友应该是充满真诚的。这样的朋友有一颗赤子之心，我们能用心来彼此交流。

Finally, active friends are just like beautiful sunshine. They can light up our blue mood, drive away the dark clouds and give us courage.

最后，拥有积极心态的朋友就像美丽的阳光。他们能够照亮我们忧郁的心情，驱走乌云，给我们鼓励。

Friends who have above three characteristics will be great wealth for us.

能交到有以上三个特征的朋友将会是我们巨大的财富。

有人说悲剧的本质不是颓废，而是在黑暗中寻找那一丝缝隙透出来的光明。我想我们在这个世界上就是战胜一切自己想战胜的，只要思想不滑坡方法总别困难多，人间值得，因为我们生而为人必定有我们自己的使命。

说到人间值得，就会想到太宰治的作品《人间失格》，太多人读完这本书都感觉，生而为人我很抱歉，甚至输入法在你不用打完这句话的时候都能出来完整，可见太多人都生活都没了希望，其实我认为若你在人生迷茫的时候就不要读这本书，也许每个人的感受都不一样，人间失格的主角叶藏用搞笑来讨好别人，但他的内心十分的敏感，我们不应该为别人活着，我们应该做一个乐观积极的人。

我自己其实也有过非常低谷的时期，那时候我感觉世界好像抛弃了我，无论我做什么事情好像都在告诉我，你真的太没用了。而且和周围人的关系差到极点，都最后我是选择不和别人交流，因为我感觉交流他们也不懂我，所以开始变得孤僻，只有影子跟着我，但是有时候连影子也离开了我。我心中那时候其实就一种想法我来到这个世界是干什么的，虽然我并没有活着回去，但是起码还要打个酱油吧。我其实是一个非常骄傲的人，我非常不服输，我时常想别人能做到为什么我做不到，所以渐渐地我变成了一个埋怨的人，我在每一天中感受不到一丝快乐，我能表达出来的就是无尽的抱怨，慢慢的我累了，慢慢的也就认命了，对生活没有一点希望，别人都说人活着要有一点盼头，那一刻我才真的明白……

其实说来说去我认为也就两个原因，第一点世界里的每一个人都应该和别人交流，那样你才真的能理解更多的人，做回真正的自己。第二点一个非常有名的老师说，我自风情万种，与世无争。从我的经历就可以看出来，我们每一个人都不需要和任何人比，静静的做你自己比做什么都好。

人间值得，你为人也值得，你更不用抱歉，记住你是为自己活不是为任何人，所以别放弃，黎明很快就会到来的……

i do the normal routine, eat dinner, clean the house, write-the usual stuff. and then i lay down hoping to fall asleep quickly so my new day will hurry up and arrive. a new day with a brand new sun. but as i lay there and wait for the world to turn half way around, i think about her. and sometimes i smile, and sometimes that smile will turn into asnicker, and then often that snicker will turn into a burst of laughter.

我按平时的规律吃晚餐、打扫屋子、写作--做着日常事务。然后我躺下，希望能快点入睡，新的一天就能快点到来--拥有新生太阳的崭新的一天。可当我躺在那儿，等待着世界的日夜回转时，我想到了她。有时我会笑起来，有时那微笑变成了窃笑，然后窃笑又常常变成爆笑。
