The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.

There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners cant keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.

With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

From friday on, i started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. some of my assignments were quite boring. after i finished the homework, i emailed them to my teachers. that was the end of it. i started to prepare things for school on this coming monday.

飞速崛起，中国这条腾飞的巨龙，向世人展示中国力量。谁能想像几十年前的中国仍是百废俱兴，满目疮痍的景象?从积贫积弱，到如今位居世界第二大经济体;中国能够缔造如此奇迹，合作必不可少。与南非各国的合作，让中国重回联合国，尽显外交成就;重走古丝绸之路，与沿线国家共享发展成果，合作共赢，既留有美誉，也助推发展。而“人类命运共同体”方案的提出，中国再次交出完美答卷，为世界合作共赢，提出中国构想。中国以合作通向不尽辉煌!

中国女排，时隔十二年，终于再度登上最高点!这个名字再次响亮世界。而正是女排姑娘们的精诚合作，才能让他们在强敌面前，所向披靡，在一次次心跳间，起死回生。当世界聚焦在领奖台上的她们时，我们知道因为她们相信彼此，选择了合作，互补不足，所以成功自然是水到渠成。而那块象征胜利的金牌则是最好见证!再摘桂冠，女排以合作披荆斩棘!

合作将力量无穷放大，反之，却是会使人堕入万丈深渊。赵括，可谓深谙用兵之道，要论纸上谈兵，无人能与之比肩。可他心高气傲，又中了秦国的反间计，不愿意老将廉颇合作，改守为攻。面对秦将白起的重重围困，赵括后悔也已是无济于事。最终弹尽粮绝，四十万大军皆被坑杀。一个徒有纸上谈兵之能，却不懂得合作的人，最终也只能湮没于历史的长河中，如蚍蜉撼树一般无力。

一枝独秀不是春，百花齐放春满园。从古至今，我们无时无刻不享受着合作带给我们的成就与硕果。合作不是成功的代名词，但个人的力量毕竟有限，唯有合作才能共铸辉煌。

大海因为有了浪花的涌动而更显波澜壮阔，浪花因为有了大海而变换多姿;航海因为有了灯塔的照耀而不会迷失方向，灯塔因为有了航海而至关重要。

因为有了合作，成功不再是遥不可及。取长补短，合作共赢，辉煌也变得触手可得!

放学了，一群小学生像小鸟一样，飞快地冲出了学校。他们唱着、跳着，跑着、闹着，路上洒满了他们的欢声笑语。

同学们相约来到小山坡上的一块绿地，他们麻利地把各自的书包搭起了一个球门，要来一场说干就干的球赛。首先开始分组，同学们拉开了阵势，开始做准备工作。他们吸引了许多的观众，大哥哥来了，小姐姐来了，叔叔阿姨们也来了。

比赛开始了，一位蓝队高个子男生像一条灵活的泥鳅，左突右闪，迅速把球抢了过来。红队队员像闪电一样的扑过来，他们赶紧把球传给了队友，被传的那个同学弓着背，神情紧张地注视着前方，生怕接不住，只见队员一个眼神，被传的队员一个箭步，冲上来。一传一接，动作娴熟，传球准确，配合密切。红队的队员紧追不放，死死咬住，步步紧跟。突然，一脚射门，蓝队守门员技术高超，一个扑球，球牢牢地被守门员抱在怀里，场外一阵欢呼。

轮到蓝队发球。说是迟，那时快，一个飞踢，球犹如一枚火箭，以惊人的速度，向对方的球门飞过去，队员们一惊，但谁也不敢接球，只能看着球往球门飞去，近了，近了!“砰”的一声，打在了书包做的球门杆上，反弹回来，落在了地上。红方队友借此机会夺过了发球权。蓝队队员的守门员准备踢个高球，使出了他吃奶的力气，一踢，球再次飞到了空中，掉下来之后，红队队员眼疾腿快，一鼓作气，一下子就跑到了球所在的位置。一踢，球飞向球门，只听“砰”的一声，球进了。

红队队员们向踢进球的队员翘起了大拇指，他们抱在一起，把他抛向空中，守门员高兴得跪在地上。场外大哥哥高喊：“胜利啦!”一阵欢呼声在绿地上空响起，就连观战的叔叔阿姨们，也激动地鼓起掌来，为他们的胜利喝彩。这时，天上的云朵也裂开嘴笑了。好像在说“同学们，你们太棒啦，加油哦!”

通过观看这场比赛让我明白：团结的力量是伟大的。

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask

myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a

dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve

the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at

least.

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and

saving their lives. Of course, to be a good doctor is very difficult, but I will

do whatever I can do to keep everyone healthy. Thats my dream. I want to try my

best to help the poor sick people of our country. I want to let them have an

opportunity to receive excellent treatments for their illnesses without having

to pay much or just enjoy them free. China is a developing country which needs

good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and distant

villages.

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, all my classmates and I are working

hard. We all know that the entrance exam of high schools coming in the year of

2009 is a big challenge for us, so we must study harder and harder in order to

go to a good high school. Thus after we finish our senior high school, we are

able to go to a good university. Finally, we can find a good job in society.

My dream is also that although at present I’m good at study, I’ll still try

my best to be the study winner. Now everything I do is close to my dream. I feel

life is fill with hope and is colorful, and I have enough confidence to realize

my dream.

I know that fantasy is something hard to realize, but dream can. I’ll work

hard for my dreams, I’ll never give up.

It’s a good option for college students to join the army. Army is the important constitution in a country. Nowadays, many college students prefer to be soldiers. Why?

Firstly, there are many preferential policies for college students to join the army, such as tuition waiver, wage subsidy. What’s more, I consider join the army can strengthen our mind. In my opinion, it’s the most important reason to join the army. Whatever you are a student or others, two years’ training can build a strong body, too.

According to the variety of social background, personal experience and

personal emotion, differernt people have different opinions towards things.

Thus, there is no doubt that generation gap exists everywhere. We always find

that there are big differences between us and the old generation. We always

regard the old are outdated, while they think us are crazy. They can’t bear the

dress we like, the fashion we pursue or even our childish thinking. Instead, we

could put up with their standpat thingking and their “feudal rulers”. Thus, the

generation gap becomes more and more obvious and serious. However, why don’t we

realize that opinions can be changed, while people can’t. So, we can think in an

other way, learn to accept. It is certain that we can narrow the generation gap

to live a more harmonious life.

何为责任?责任是涓涓细流滋养着一方土地;是边防战士守卫着一方安裕;是老师在三尺讲台上的谆谆教诲，浇灌着莘莘学子的心灵。责任是一种美德，是一种高尚品质，是一种心灵的洁净剂。

责任是普遍的，它像空气无处不在。我国国家法律规定人们在享有权利之前必须承担责任。我们在享有权利的同时，也应该承担相应的责任与义务。我们享有受教育权，我们便要依法接受学校的教育，做好一个学生的本分，努力学习，承担接受教育的义务，成为一个合格的公民。我们享有驾驶权，便要依法行使驾驶的权利，做一个合格的司机，遵循交通规则，承担相应的义务和责任。只有我们承担责任，才能更好的享有权利，才能创建更美好的生活。

责任是耀眼的，它似太阳光芒万丈。它是面对列强凌辱时，一个读书人的誓言：“为中华之崛起而读书。”它是发生火灾时，一个消防员的举动：拿起水枪，面对大火。它是面对严峻疫情时，一个医生护士的信：请战书!它是千千万万人的行为举止，是身边每一个人对彼此的付出。那是人性的光辉，不是虚伪的面具。每一次的承担，都将变成星星，记录在漫漫星空，在夜晚，为我们带来它的余韵，它将指引着我们前进的方向。

责任是沉重的，它如石子重如泰山。背上了责任，就像肩上担负起了一座巨山，有数不清的辛劳，道不清的苦楚。因为承担了责任，老师变成了辛勤的园丁，有着“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干”的奉献。士兵变成了忠诚的护卫，在环境严酷的边疆，守卫着祖国的大好河山。人有了责任，人生便有了意义。尽管它沉重无比，但它是我们必须背负的，就像蜗牛，必须背负它重重的壳。责任便是我们的“壳”。

随着人生历程的改变，时间的推移，责任无时无刻不在变化，也无时无刻不在我们身上，我们应该对自己的人生负责，不荒废大好年华，让时间白白流逝。

在这个简单又复杂的时代，我们都应该铁肩担道义，做时代风云的掌舵人。尤其是青少年的我们，更应该学会承担责任，毕竟人生海海，最是责任以致远。
