今天，我们读了很多关于保护环境的小短文。我想起曾经在我身边发生的事情。

记得是去年的暑假，我和爸爸一起去鹅湖边散步，走了一段路，我就一个劲的喊口渴，于是，爸爸就在路边的小店给我买了根冰棍。我边吃边走，一会儿就吃完了，随手把冰棍棒往鹅湖里一扔。爸爸看见了，马上提醒我说;“可可，不能乱扔垃圾噢!如果每个人都像你一样往湖里扔垃圾，这美丽的鹅湖不就变成了垃圾湖了。”我羞愧的说：“知道了，我下次一定不乱扔垃圾。”爸爸微笑着抚摸我的头说：“地球也是我们的家，我们应该保护它，爱护它，让天更蓝，水更清，草更绿。”我调皮的说：“噢，那就是大家一直说的，城市是我家，环境清洁靠大家。我明白了。”让从那以后，我再也不乱扔垃圾了。

曾经有多少人称赞过母爱？然而，又有多少人称赞过父爱呢？在我认为，母爱是无私的、是温柔的！而父爱也是无私的，只是多了一点儿严肃罢了！可是，生活中不知有多少人为了这点严肃而与父亲斗气呢？

我以前是个很爱斗气的孩子，例如：别人说我的不是，我就很生气，显得一副怒气冲冲的样子；而别人夸我，我就很高兴，显得一副得意洋洋的样子；有时候，母亲叫我做家务；我不但不做，而且我有意还搞破坏每当这个时候，父亲就教育我：你应该谦虚点，懂事点，妈妈批评你，是为了你好。妈妈叫你做家务，你就当作是体育锻炼。那样，既可以替你母亲做家务，又可以强身健体，同时还能学到很多课本上没有的知识。何乐而不为呢？父亲的一番话使我受益匪浅，我在学校虽然不是个品学兼优的学生，但我至少要在家里做个听话的好孩子。

最近，我的学习成绩上去了，老师经常表扬我，父亲也很高兴，我心里乐滋滋的。这都应该感谢父亲的严格呢！如果没有父亲的严格，我又如何能成为好学生呢？

记得去年，我得了腮腺炎。这是一种流行性传染病。而父母亲不顾会被传染的危险。帮我量体温；我发烧了，父亲就带我到医院看医生；我要洗澡，父亲担心我洗澡时着凉，就亲自帮我洗澡；每天夜里他还起来观察我的病情，有时还轻轻地问我：好些了吗？

我的英语老师是个女教老师。她的眼睛大大的，耳朵有点小，鼻子呢微微向上翘，鼻梁上还架着一幅眼镜，大大的嘴巴。她的身材不是很胖，显得很匀称。

她对我们的学习要求很严格，每天布置的作业还要让家长签字，签字完了还要让家长用印章印，没签字的同学要罚站。检查作业时老师点到那个单词，谁要是会读，谁就可以坐下，要是不会读，就要站十分钟。有的时候，要是时间来不及了，老师会随便抽组检查，抽到那个组，就看那个组的作业。

有一次，我的英语作业忘记签字了，检查作业的时候，老师正好抽到了我们组，我害怕极了，心都快提到了噪子眼儿。可是老师快要抽到我的时候，却停了，老师没有看我的作业。好险哪儿!下一回可不能在出现这样的事情了。

我们的英语老师虽然很严格，不过我们还是很喜欢她的。
