我的父亲是一位老中医，品德高尚而医术高明。曾经，有一家公司邀请他到外国为其他人治病。这对我父亲来说是一个很好的机会。可是，父亲拒绝了，原因很简单，因为那家公司说我父亲不能带上我，而他舍弃不下我。以后，父亲就凭借着自己的好医术，不仅使家庭富裕了，还赢得了病人的好评，因此被北京光明中医学院评为中医名医。我知道，这是很不容易的。从那以后，我开始注意他了。他对待每一位病人，显得那么和蔼可亲、认真负责，眼神是专注的、慈祥的，温暖了每一位病人的心。

父亲不仅在工作上非常出色，连烧菜、梳头这些本应该适合女人做的事，他都能胜任。他烧的菜不仅色香味俱全，还很注意营养搭配，让我总是有个好胃口，健康地成长着。梳头，他更不在话下了，每天早晨，他总是早早地拿着梳子，站在椅子旁边，等待我下楼来。他先把我的头发梳理柔顺，然后轻轻地将它们分到两边，最后熟练地为我扎起麻花辫。镜子里的他总是面带微笑，眼睛里充满了慈爱。

梳好辫子，美美地吃完早餐，我该上学了。这时，父亲总是帮我背上书包，打开门，一直张望着，直到小路的尽头，好几次，我在他亲切的眼神里看到了、懂得了依依不舍的含义。

因此，在我的印象里，父亲总是慈祥、温和的。可是有一天，发生了一件事，让我看到了父亲的另外一面。那天，我把自己花了一上午好不容易做好的正方体框架，让一个来我家玩的调皮的小弟弟给拆了，这件事让爸爸知道了，他很生气，严厉地批评了我，这让我很吃惊，我从没看到过他如此严厉的眼神，我很难过。第二天早晨，父亲默默地帮我做好了早饭，梳完了头发，没有送我上学，让我很不习惯，心里很不是滋味。这天放学回到家，父亲招呼我坐到他的身边，他认真地看着我，语重心长地告诉我，要我尊重自己的劳动成果，只有自己珍爱它，被人才会尊重我和我的作品。还要珍惜时间，抓紧每分每秒去做有用的事。我觉得父亲说的话很有道理，我与他之间的心结就此打开了，我觉得我更加热爱他了。

后一天的早晨，父亲又像往常一样送我上学了，我忍不住回头去看看他的眼睛，发现原来在这我熟悉的眼神中，还有深切的希望
