Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. 夜幕降临了！等候多时的我和姐姐高兴地拿出了“万花筒”。我兴冲冲地拿了焰火和打火机，准备实施我除夕之夜的第一个计划——放焰火。我们放的第一炮是“一啸冲天”，随着一声巨响，天空顿时如同白昼，好壮观哦！紧接着是“天女散花”，所谓天女散花，顾名思义，那一定是非常漂亮的场面。你看，果真不出所料，仙女们在天空中把一篮子花毫不怜惜地撒向人间。那些花在空中飘飘悠悠，美丽极了！刹时，空中成了五彩缤纷的世界。我和姐姐高兴得手舞足蹈。随后，我们又放了“降落伞”、“七仙女”、“百花奔放”……

我除夕之夜的第二个计划，毫无疑问，当然是看春节联欢晚会了。我们一家子环坐在电视机前，兴致勃勃地等候着春节联欢晚会的到来。高兴之余，突然爸爸的脸阴沉下来。我想：爸爸这是怎么啦？容不得我多想，爸爸此时拉开了话匣：“现在的日子真是天堂的日子啊！”爸爸突然冒出了这么一句话，我百思不得其解，急忙追问“爸爸，什么天堂的日子啊？”爸爸此时旋小了电视机的音量，对我们说：“孩子，你们是不了解的呀！过去我们这些老百姓可苦啦！”

现在我最期盼的，就是春节了。

一大早起来，我要穿着舒服的新衣服给长辈拜礼，在跟着爸爸去外面问好，再捞点苹果、糖果、巧克力、梨子......以往的春节我收获的东西，还不够我塞牙缝。所以这个春节，我要拿很多的好吃的，要是吃不掉，就储藏起来，以后吃。

中午，和爸爸一起扔竹竿，很多人就有疑问了，这是哪个民族的习俗，让我告诉你吧!这只是我们家唯一一个有这个习俗。规则是：看谁投得远，投得准，这要由两个人组成一组玩，才能玩。一个人拿着竹竿扔，另一个人拿着一个超大号的篮子，接竹竿。这可是要看两人之间的配合、默契，才能胜利、成功。我和爸爸可是老队友，只要我们俩在一起，不会不赢的。

下午，我就和我的妹妹，我的姐姐一起玩，两人向前冲，规则是：一个人的右脚和另外一个人的左脚绑起来，然后向前冲，我跟我姐姐也是老队友了，每次我们上场，就会按1、2 1、2的节奏走起来。

晚上，我们一家子人要一起放烟花。爸爸把一个很大的爆竹一点燃，烟花就拉着一条长长的、五颜六色的尾巴，直冲云霄，绽放出了美丽的舞裙。我们几个小孩子拿着小烟花围着门前的空地转来转去，小烟花就像仙女的仙棒，显现出了漂亮的仙气。我们一家围在一起，边吃丰富的晚餐，边看电视里精彩的节目，一吃完饭，就去村口一个小卖部那里看真人表演.....

这是我期盼的春节，快乐的春节。

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although peoples life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.
