一身橘黄色的皮毛，夹着丝丝雪白的斑纹，犹如晨曦时那缕柔和的金光披在身上。那盛满好奇与希望的湖蓝色大眼睛一闪一闪，有时它锐利的目光似乎能穿透一切事物，头顶上两只小巧玲珑的耳朵总是垂着，样子有些呆萌，一条软乎乎、滑溜溜的长尾巴总是慵懒地拖在身后——它就是我朋友家新添的一只猫，小丸子。

我记得我曾写过她家的另一只猫，小胡子，可是我最近发现这两只猫的性格大不相同，小丸子十分贪吃。晚饭时间，桌上摆满了各种佳肴，我和朋友迫不及待的跳上桌子，大吃特吃起来。只见两只猫趴在客厅的软垫上，似乎并没有兴趣。过了一会儿，我夹起一条鱼，突然感觉脚下有什么毛茸茸的东西在蹭我。低头一看，竟是小丸子，它冲我摇摇尾巴，好像是在像我讨吃的呢！我并没理它，只是继续吃，小丸子只好跑去它主人那边了，谁知自己主人也不给食吃，反倒打着手势让它快走，小丸子只得可怜巴巴的回到客厅去了。可是，我再次感到脚底痒痒，小丸子第二次来向我讨食，无奈之下，我只好赏给它一块油炸三文鱼，它高兴的拖走了，连声谢都不说，真不懂礼貌！

吃过饭，朋友说：“来吧，体验一下养猫的真正乐趣！”我听不大懂，只胡乱点着头。不一会儿她拿着一根玩具鱼竿走出来，钓线的头上还挂着一只玩具白老鼠，我恍然大悟，一把夺过，将钓线朝两只猫趴的地方甩去，还没等我反应过来，小丸子已“腾空而起”，率先抓住鱼竿，小胡子也不甘示弱，扑向白老鼠，因为具有体型优势，小丸子被震了下来，小胡子的眼珠咕噜咕噜的转着，得意的看着小丸子，我们还以为比赛结束，可突然小丸子一口咬住小胡子的尾巴，疼的它“喵喵”大叫，接着只听“哧溜”一声，小胡子被从沙发上拖了下来，而小丸子自己却窜上去把战利品叼在嘴里踏着方步，昂着头，神气地走了。好一个高傲的动物！

它高兴时，会把自己的住处收拾的井井有条。水盆食盆都有序的摆在墙角边，而心情不好时，干脆糟蹋一通，没错，肯定到处都有一个个沾满脏水的猫脚印。但不管怎样它总是那么可爱，那么令我们喜欢……

我家养有两条小鲤金，它们是我最喜欢的小动物。鲤金们身子胖乎乎、眼睛圆鼓鼓、尾巴滑溜溜，身穿金红相间的衣裳，非常漂亮。它们在水面吐泡泡的样子，可爱极了。

有一条小鲤金的肚子又大又圆，我叫它圆圆。它很贪吃，一看到食物，总是迫不及待、大口大口地吃着。它最喜欢和我玩捉迷藏的游戏，我一把手指伸进鱼缸里，它就赶紧躲到水草丛中，生怕被我发现似的。

另一条小鲤金只有一只眼睛，但它很勇敢，就像一名勇士，我叫它水兵。水兵从来不会与圆圆抢食，很绅士的样子。我假装要抓它，水兵却在鱼缸里若无其事地游着，一点儿也不害怕。

我家来了一只小仓鼠。它的样子可爱极了。

仓鼠的耳朵圆圆的、小小的，像小饼干碎。它的嘴巴是三瓣嘴，两颗门牙特别长，好像要顶破嘴巴了。小仓鼠的眼睛小小的，像两颗黑宝石嵌在眼窝里。

小仓鼠不仅外形可爱，它的习性更可爱。小仓鼠吃饭时常东看看西望望，等人们走了，它就又悄悄地接近食物，然后大口大口地吃掉，还发出“咯……咯……”的声音。小仓鼠受到惊吓的时候，就会把两只耳朵竖起来，并且发了“吱吱……吱吱……”的叫声，好像在说：“救……救命啊！”

我们小区里有一条大花狗。这条大花狗裹着一身白玉色的长毛，一块块黄斑错落的异常明显。它的嘴很大，打哈欠时会露出一口净白锋利的小齿。一个突起的小黑鼻子东嗅西嗅，一双三角形的耳朵下边儿，在密毛里冒出两颗乌龙果似的小圆眼睛，滴溜滴溜地转着。它的腿线条优美，又细又长，跑起来飞快。有几次它从路边奔过，我还没看清是什么，它早已无影无踪，真是“快如风”。

它的性格与别的狗不大一样，它的性格显些古怪。看吧，有时它十分任性，把主人对它说的话当耳边风，一个字也听不进去。有时却又老实了，吓到人或犯错时主人给它讲道理，它“连连点头”。主人散步时遇见熟人，聊了起来，它不吵不闹，安安静静地趴在地上打盹儿，什么事也不过问。

虽说它老实，但它多少还是贪玩的。主人把他关在屋里，它就呆呆地望着窗外，眼巴巴地盯着楼下的狗互相玩耍。当它忍不住想玩的这股劲儿时，就会大声叫嚷，声音大到几乎每幢楼都听得见，似乎在愤怒地抗议着：“主人，凭什么别人能玩我却不行？太不公平，不公平！”主人可受不了，只得带它下楼，这时它便乐开了怀。主人去遛它时，它见了别的狗就扑上去，两只狗就玩起了摔跤：它们一会抱在一起；一会儿躺倒在地；一会儿盯着对方打圈儿，玩得乐不可支。任主人怎样叫唤，它也不肯回家。

我最喜欢的小动手那就是我奶奶家养的小乌龟了！

一年前，我想要一只小乌龟，奶奶就给我买了一只。这只小乌龟的肚皮黄色的，肚皮上有花纹。它还背着一个绿色的壳，四只小小的抓子，尖尖的小脑袋喜欢东张西望。它喜欢在水里游来游去，像悠闲地散步。这只小乌龟很贪吃的，奶奶给它买了一包食物，可它不吃。后来，奶奶给它喂了点肉，它就吃得津津有味，就这样，奶奶天天给它喂肉，我觉得这只小乌龟真是个好吃佬！

奶奶从海南带了很多海螺，放了一个海螺在鱼缸里。这只小乌龟就自由多了。每次它都要趴到海螺的上面去玩，好像爬山一样。可它下来的时候就摔了个大跟头，真好笑！

每天放学后我都要去看小乌龟，它一天一天长大了，我想给它买一个大鱼缸，它就更好玩了。

我在绍兴步行街的时候，发现了一家宠物店，我买了一只最萌的仓鼠，它叫“小白”。

它有一双炯炯有神、水汪汪的眼睛，它的鼻子一动一动的，嘴巴成“人”字形，它会用自己的舌头添自己的鼻子；两颗小板牙露在外面，还会磨自己的下牙；两个小爪子非常可爱，很短，还会用爪子挠痒呢！小尾巴又短又小；两只小耳朵嫩嫩的，摸起来还很舒服。它之所以叫“小白”，是因为它全身上下都是洁白的！而且它还有与众不同的地方，两只小眼睛里面还带有蓝色，细看还会发光发亮。

“叽叽！”一阵声音划破了夜晚的宁静，啊！是“小白”，我惊讶起来，打开门，跑下楼梯，直奔“小白”而去，我走到笼子面前，看见它一直喘气，一定是病了，我把它拿出笼子，迫不急待地跑向我家冰箱，拿出药，给它喂了下去，那时，它已经全身呈灰色，脸色发白，就连那美丽动人的眼睛也不亮了，我咽了一口唾沫，一滴滴透明的眼泪滴在了它的身上，那时，我多么伤心，只见它奄奄一息，我放声大哭，还哭着说：“小白你千万不要死啊！你死了，我就没有你这么好的朋友啦！”但事情并没有好转，反而“小白”更加得痛苦了，我的眼睛模糊了，看不清了，就当我擦干眼泪，它闭上了眼睛，那时我才五岁，我以为它在休息，就跟妈妈说了这事，妈妈说：“它不在了，它去另一个世界生活了。”

我最喜爱的小动物是小白兔，它老是竖着长长的耳朵，长着短短的尾巴，六根长长的胡子，而且它的眼睫毛也挺长的哟。它还长着三瓣的嘴巴，一双红红的眼睛象樱桃一样和雪白的身子，多可爱呀。小白兔爱吃胡萝卜和大白菜，不过大白菜是要洗的哟，要不它吃了就会被毒死了。

我上幼儿园大班时，养过一只小白兔，我给它起了个名字叫小红眼，后来我也习惯叫它小红眼了，时间长了，它好象知道自己的名字就是小红眼似的。我从幼儿园回家后，就抱它去我家楼下的草地上去玩，我一放到地上它就飞快地跑到矮树丛中去了，它玩得可开心了，该回家了，我就把它关进了坚固的小笼子提回家了 。

我还喜欢很多小动物哟，比如说：大熊猫、小猫、小鸡、小鸟。我喜欢小鸟是因为我的愿望是想飞。

在众多的鸟类中，我喜欢鹦鹉，我喜欢翱翔蓝天的老鹰，小巧玲珑的麻雀，但我更喜欢和平天使——鸽子。鸽子象征着和平。

鸽子小巧玲珑的面孔上镶嵌这一对红宝石般的眼睛，橘黄色的小嘴尖尖的，在小嘴最宽的地方，有两个红红的东西，那是它的小鼻子。身上的羽毛五彩缤纷，在阳光的照射下闪闪发光，它还有一双深红的小爪子。

鸽子外表不但美丽，而且胃口很大。

有一次我去给公园的鸽子喂大米，我专门装了大半瓶米，想证实一下鸽子的胃口到底大不大。

我把米粒倒在手上，等鸽子来吃，一只鸽子飞来了，接着好多只都来了，它们不停的逐打着我的手心，我还以为闭着嘴的我的呢！没想到是要我的手呢！哇！好快呀！米被他们吃完了，接着第三次，第四次，我一直倒，米都没了他们还没吃够。唉！他们的胃口可真大呀！并且吃完之后还“咕咕”的叫，好象在说 “小朋友别小气，再倒点吧我还没吃够呢！”

吃饱以后，煽动起强健有力的翅膀飞向蔚蓝的天空，自由快活翱翔。

说到狗，自然会想到我二姨家的“飞飞”。每到节假日，我都会去二姨家看望它。日子长了，我俩之间就建立起了深厚的友情。说起它的来历，还要从有一次我们去鱼塘说起：那时，我们正在开开心心地捕鱼，忽然看见一只小狗从我们眼前溜过。妹妹一看到它很是喜欢，就求二姨把它带回家。一开始二姨不同意。功夫不负有心人，后来在我们的百般请求下，二姨终于同意了。捉过鱼之后，我们就开开心心地把它带回家了。

每次我去二姨家，大老远就听到“飞飞”在屋子里大喊大叫。我进门后，它就不停地抓着我的腿，好像在叫我抱它。我抱起它，它就像一个小婴儿似的趴在我的怀里，还不停地用舌头舔我，好像很喜欢我。抱了一会儿之后，我也有点累了，它也跟我一样，然后就自己回屋里睡觉了。

Relief supplies finally arrived on a remote Arctic island where a group of scientists had been trapped in a weather station. Up to a dozen polar bears had surrounded the station on the island of Troynoy and set up camp approximately two weeks ago. The bears were becoming more aggressive over time, killing one of the stations dogs and breaking a window. On Wednesday, a helicopter that picked up supplies from a nearby vessel arrived with dogs and flares and was able to scare away the bears and allow the researchers to get back to work.

Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Why should people care? Because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more. Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting.
