One Day of Mine

On May Day, my mother, father, my sister and me went to park to have a picnic, and then visited my grandma and grandpa.

At nine o’clock in the morning, we went to park for picnic. We took juice, cornflakes, apples, oranges, lollipops, bananas, ice creams, mangoes, and so on. I also took toys, such as doll, ball, balloon, skateboard and a kite.

At two o’clock in the afternoon, we went to visit my grandma and grandpa. I helped grandpa do some house work. My sister and me played skateboard and doll.

At eight o’clock in the evening, we went home, and played computer games for two hours and then went to bed.

I was very happy on May Day!

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many

different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air

pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of

disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will

take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung

cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition

I have a party on my eleven birthday, many friends give me the present. There is a doll, a pen, a music box, a notebook, a book and a flower. My faverite present is the flower. In every city, there are always a main street known for its lantern fair,

on that special day, the street will become as bright as daylight in the night

with myriads of lanterns and streams of spectators. At this moment, the

happiness in the heart is beyond all description. By watching various lanterns,

eating sweet Tang Yuan, and hanging out with the people we love, thinking of the

bright future in front of us. It’s worth everything.
