Qingming Festival, also known as Pure Brightness Festival or Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to ones ancestors and to tidy their gravesite. On this day, whole families, young and old, go to the gravesite of deceased family members to burn incense and perform a ritual offering while clearing away plant overgrowth from the gravesite.

Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, people brought a whole rooster with them to the graves visited but the occasion has become less formal over time. The festival originated from Hanshi Day (寒食节, literally, Day with cold food only), a memorial day for Jie Zitui (介子推). Jie Zitui died in 636 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of many followers of Duke Wen of Jin before he became a duke.

Once, during Wens 19 years of exile, they had no food and Jie prepared some meat soup for Wen. Wen enjoyed it a lot and wondered where Jie had obtained the soup. It turned out Jie had cut a piece of meat from his own thigh to make the soup. Wen was so moved he promised to reward him one day. However, Jie was not the type of person who sought rewards. Instead, he just wanted to help Wen to return to Jin to become king.

Once Wen became duke, Jie resigned and stayed away from him. Duke Wen rewarded the people who helped him in the decades, but for some reason he forgot to reward Jie, who by then had moved into the forest with his mother. Duke Wen went to the forest, but could not find Jie. Heeding suggestions from his officials, Duke Wen ordered men to set the forest on fire to force out Jie. However, Jie died in the fire. Feeling remorseful, Duke Wen ordered three days without fire to honour Jies memory. The county where Jie died is still called Jiexiu (介休, literally "the place Jie rests forever").

The Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000, is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes. 那时的校园渐渐变小，然而我看透了其中的每个结构。我们背起行囊，忙着在学海中探索，操场上少了往日的喧嚣与热闹，教室里多了些奋笔疾书的身影。上课时专注的眼神，积极地问答，课下稍显安静的班级充斥着不停息的询问声。初三时的我们渐渐褪去稚嫩，积蓄力量，充满对未知的期待与渴望，像盛开的木槿，坚韧而又期待永恒。

那时的校园与我们来说只是一幢楼和楼前的一棵不倒的大树。我们早已习惯走廊里压抑的沉寂，似乎只有放学时才会恢复生机，我们少了悸动的心跳，多了几分拼搏。我们也习惯每周不考试感觉不完整的心理，也习惯头发被风吹散却又无暇顾及的状况。每个人都在争分夺秒，这就是我们的初四，沉静，美好，对“分别”格外敏感。那时像盛开的百合，神圣而又充满祝福。

那时，翻开日记，不为记录，只愿记起与他们一起走过的点点滴滴。

那时，放飞气球，不为许愿，只为回忆与他们一起度过的剪影流年。

那时，点燃烟火，不为庆贺，只愿铭记与他们一起吵闹的朝朝暮暮。

寒假里，发生过许多愉快的事，也发生过许多有趣的事，还发生过许多难忘的事……我今天讲述的是一件令人深思的事情。

那天，天气很冷，空中飘着鹅毛大雪，地上像是铺了一层厚厚的雪毯，整个一片雪白的世界，我和妈妈却兴致很高，准备上街去踏雪游玩。走到十字街路口处，我看见有一大群人在围观，就急忙跑过去，想看看究竟是发生了什么事情。

原来是一位老爷爷在街口卖白菜。看他那么大的年纪了，还艰难地挑着两筐绿油油的白菜卖，好可怜哟!我看见白菜上还覆盖着一层白雪呢!他挑着白菜，被三位不知是工商局还是城管局的叔叔发现了，大声吼他，还又推又撞，命令他马上离开，不要随地乱卖菜，这样影响了交通秩序。

我转过身对妈妈说：“他们为什么要对老人这么凶?难道他们自己就不会老?”妈妈没有正面回答我的问题，只是叹了口气，我们就走了。路上，我的心情久久不能平静。

”为什么大家不能都献出一点爱，心里多一些宽容，多一些爱心呢?如果人人都多一些爱心的话，这个社会不是会更加充满温馨吗?

A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. With a dream in the deep heart＇s core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. 告别是一篇故事

在记忆深处一直记得，那个永远充满美好的童年。

曾经在外婆家的后院和小伙伴们一起打闹的时光我忘不掉……“诶，下午去看花嘛?”小伙伴的一句话，使本来还因为天气炎热而犯困的我立马清醒了过来，“好啊，你今天有什么新发现吗?”“去了不就知道了。”心怀激动的我赶快跟了上去。飞奔出门，在弯弯绕绕的小路上跑着，额头上也沁出了晶莹的汗水，但却一点也感受不到累。突然，眼前出现了被阳光所笼罩的花海，“怎么样，好看吧?”小伙伴还没等我回答便径直走向了花海。我抬起头望着站在花儿们的中间的你，你一袭淡黄色短裙、头发披散开，在花海里转圈。此刻的你，在阳光的映衬下显得更加有活力，在你一旁的花朵都成了你的陪衬，我觉得就算仙女下凡也不及你。“哎，你发什么呆啊，快过来啊!”看入神的我被你的清脆嗓音惊醒，“来了来了，别急嘛。”我轻轻踏入这片花海，俯下身去仔细观赏花儿，猛然感到头上好像增加了重量。站起身来往头上一摸，哈原来是心灵手巧的你给我编了一个雏菊花环，扭过头去望着你，两个小女孩互相冲着对方笑。

那个时候总觉得时间过得很慢，天天都和小伙伴在一起玩耍。可现在再回头，竟发觉曾经那个不愿长大的小女孩早已告别童年，告别那些童年玩伴。告别，是一篇漫长又让人想再一次回顾的故事。

告别是一首骊歌

每次闭上双眼脑海中总是会浮现出小学毕业时我们一同合唱的场景。

小学那个不大甚至还有些许简陋的舞台上站着正在高歌的我们，在不知不觉中今天已是我们呆在这所学校的最后一天，我们在舞台上用心唱出这首歌曲，歌声悠扬又动听，但又带着不少酸涩。在歌曲的旋律中我仿佛听到了我们一同经历过的过往：就在前不久，我们还一同坐在学校的那棵桑葚树下谈论天空中云朵的形状，对着天空畅想未来的美好愿景，我们坐在树下一起读书，一起打闹，每片桑葚叶子都闪烁着我们的欢声笑语……可谁又能想到今天过后我们就该各奔东西，向着属于自己的那所中学迈进呢?

那棵高大的桑葚树下，不再出现我们，但我们的过往就像这首歌曲一样，会随着时光流逝但调子却始终不变。那个总以自己为中心的小女孩已经告别那棵桑葚树、告别曾经的小伙伴、告别了那段回忆满满的小学时光。告别，是一首动听且苦涩的骊歌。

告别是一次蜕变

从前的我总是对什么都不上心，因为有你的督促，我告别了从前的那个自己。

“哎，别睡了别睡了，起来我们去锻炼啦!”睡得正熟的我听到这话只好极不情愿的爬起来穿好衣服跟在你的后面。“先跑三圈啊，要注意控制好呼吸，摆臂要前后摆啊。”呼，我长舒了一口气，第一圈倒还凑合，才第二圈半我便不行了，气喘的愈发严重，双腿也好似不是我的了。但你却坚信我可以，于是我也开始坚信自己可以。我尽量让自己放慢速度跑完这剩下的圈数……从那以后，在每个阳光灿烂的午后，我的身影都会出现在那个塑胶跑道上，而你也就站在我身后，投给我信任的目光。在你的帮助下，我也逐渐变得更好，在暑假的每天早晨我都能够按时起床，认真去完成老师布置的作业，也正因为有你的陪伴我才能熬过每天下午的那段练琴时间，因为我知道我一回头你就会在我身后给予我鼓励和安慰。

那个暑假，流了不少汗水，但我觉得收获满满。那个曾经懵懂的女孩子已经告别了从前那个懒散的自己，开始成长。告别，是一次辛苦与快乐并存的蜕变。

那片花海的每一朵花都记载着我的童年记忆;那棵桑葚树上的每一片叶子都承载着我们告别的不舍;那个暑假的每一个日子都记录着我的改变和成长。那些专属于我们的美好记忆，将在我的脑海中回味生花。

没有告别，亦没有新的开始。请相信世间的所有告别都是为了再一次相遇，下一次我会用我最好的模样去和你们久别重逢。

拉蒂默曾经说过：“滴水穿石，不是因其力量，而是因其坚韧不拔、锲而不舍”。可见实现梦想的道路不会是一番风顺的，有荆棘、有坎坷，但心中只要有一个坚定的信念，梦想就一定能变成现实。因为梦想就是生命中一双无形的翅膀，有了它的力量才能激励我们的生命，摆脱平庸和低俗，走向优秀和成功。

人生因梦想而高飞，人性因梦想而伟大。从小给自己一个目标，一个梦想，从而让梦想带着自己在人生辽阔的天空中自由地飞翔。我从儿时开始，就有一个梦想，那就是当一名优秀的教师。因为我从小就受当教师的父亲的耳濡目染的影响，每天看着父亲背着一个鼓鼓的黄书包，早出晚归，但这个书包他从来不让我动，使我更加对这个书包充满了好奇，有一天憋不住的我就问父亲：“爸爸，你这书包里装的有什么好吃的东西?”父亲说：“这不能吃，是一个个的小精灵。”对这个书包我更加好奇。偶尔跟父亲一起走路时，总会听到学生叫“老师好!”使我对父亲的职业更加羡慕。后来读高中时，我的班主任对我说，你将来要是当老师，一定是一个优秀的教师。这更加坚定了我当老师的信念。后来高中毕业后我没有像其他同学一样赶潮流———下海捞金，而回乡当起了一名山村教师，实现了儿时的梦想。

踏上三尺讲台，我才真正体会教师的辛苦。由于山村缺乏教师，一人将带多个班级的课程，白天要上课，没有时间批改作业、备课，此时我才明白爸爸天天放学回家为什么要背鼓鼓的书包。因为对教师来说，只有晚上才能静静地坐下来备课，批改作业，为第二天做好准备。白天除了上课，有时还要翻山越岭，爬山涉水搞家访。更苦的是微薄的工资难以维系一家人的正常开支。工作的艰辛，生活的压力有时真让人喘不过气来。淘金回来的同学谈起外面的世界真是让人羡慕，心中涌起一丝放弃梦想的念头。但当走上讲台，看到一张张天真的笑脸，一双双渴求知识的眼睛，一双双沾满泥巴的小手，一身身破烂不堪的衣衫……，突然间觉得自己工作虽然辛苦、清贫，但很幸福，因而坚定信念，永不放弃从教路。

从教路是一条漫长而艰辛的路，为了这个梦，我起早贪黑地备课，钻研教材，探讨教法，为学生批改作业。尽管我没有过人的天赋，但我很努力，“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来”，我坚信，没有达不到的目标，只要尽自己最大努力去做，梦想一定会实现。罗国杰曾说过这样一句话：“教师就像一只蜡烛，不断地燃烧、消耗着自己，照亮别人前进的道路;又像一根粉笔，散播着智慧的种子，把知识传授给别人，而渐渐的磨损着自己;又像一只梯子，让人踩着自己的肩膀攀上高峰，去采摘胜利的`果实。”尽管教师是很辛苦的，可是每当想到我用自己所学的知识教出一批批学生，让他们为了祖国的未来而努力奋斗，我想，我的坚持是对的，我选择的路是正确的。

未来的课堂对教师提出了更高的要求。一根粉笔，一本课本，满堂灌的教法早已被淘汰，随之而来的是自主，合作，探究，多媒体教学等，新的教学手段对将近50岁的我来说是一个不小的挑战，但我有信心，有恒心，一定学会多媒体教学手段，并让它熟练地运用于我的课堂中，让我的课堂成为孩子们的乐园。不求我的学生个个成才，但求个个进步，学有所长，把他们培养成未来建设祖国的生力军。

“教育是一辈子的事”，我需要一直努力下去。我的梦想永远不会变：愿与时俱进，当好一名教师，奉献绵薄之力，以己涓涓细流，汇入中国教育发展的大海!

这天我心情异常不好，因为我病了。昨天，咳嗽、发烧折磨了我一整夜;今天，我浑身软绵绵的，不得已，只能请假在家休息。

原以为爸爸妈妈会留在家里陪我，不料一量体温之后，“37.1”这一数字竟令他们舒心一笑。“女儿，我们上班去了，单位里的事放不得。你好好照顾自己呀!一小时之后记得把药吃了，多喝点水，中午去奶奶家吃饭。我们单位有事，晚上回来。”

还没等我作出反应，门“砰”的一声关上了，那熟悉的脚步声渐渐远去。将我这个病号丢在家中，他们倒是非常放心呀!我苦笑了一声，就瘫倒在沙发上，似乎连最后一点力气也消失殆尽了。本想打开电视来排解一下心中的烦闷，但我连身子都懒得动一下，家中死一般的沉寂。

快到中午，不争气的肚子咕咕作响，该上奶奶家去了。我强打精神，拖着柔弱的身躯走出家门。真是倒霉，电梯在进行维护，无法使用，只能走楼梯了。所幸的是我家住得并不太高，但几层楼下来，我都快趴下了。唉!我这病啥时候才能好呢?

前往奶奶家必须途经一小段阶梯，爬了几步之后，我便扶在护栏上喘气，头耷拉着，打不起半点精神。就在这不经意之间，一株小小的植物映入我的眼帘。

我不由得蹲下身来，仔细打量。那是一株小小的狗尾巴草，生长在石头阶梯的夹缝之间，个头明显比其他的狗尾巴草小许多。它是那么的柔弱，但却又那么的顽强。在那窄窄的石缝之中，既没有植物生长所需要的土壤，也没有它们所需要的养分，可是它就在这环境如此恶劣的石缝中发芽、生长，顽强挺立。瞧，一小截狗尾巴正在它的头顶上随风摇曳。这期间经受了多少苦难，经历了多少煎熬，这是我们所难以想象的。崇敬之情，从我的心底油然而生。

崇敬之余，我不由得暗自惭愧。一次小小的感冒就将我折磨得死去活来，难道我就连一株小草都不如吗?此时，我的脚底下隐隐传来了一股力量。

人世间总难免会有风风雨雨，我们当如小草一样生活，坚韧，顽强!

Last weekend, our class had a public benefit activity.

In fact, we went to nursing homes to recite English and Chinese texts and sing songs for them for the old ladies and men. A few days before, we read a text about the loneliness of the people in the nursing homes. So we are volunteering to hold this volunteer labor. We have prepared our own part at for a week. On Saturday afternoon, we brought our performance there and showed them one by one.

The old were laughed happily, so did we. It’s so good to have such an activity.

上个周末，我们班进行了一场公益活动。

事实上，我们去了养老院给那儿的老爷爷老奶奶朗诵英文和中文文章、唱歌。前几天，我们看了一个关于老人们在养老院的孤独的文章。所以我们主动举行这次公益活动。我们准备自己的角色准备了一个星期。上周六下午，我们一样接一样地向他们展示我们的表演。

老爷爷老奶奶们都开心地笑了，我们也很开心。像这样的活动真是太好了。

当我从网上看到活泼、可爱的小姑娘陈思影被火烧得面目全废时，听着她一声声的发自内心的呼唤：“妈妈，救救我!”

想着这残忍之事竟然是自己的亲身母亲!我惊呆了，是什么让鲜花般的少女丧失生命，是害人的邪教。12岁，生命刚刚开始，还来不及品尝人间的温暖，害人的邪教把她送到了所谓的“天国”，去享受“极乐世界”去了。我的表姑也是邪教的受害者，那年，表姑突感身体不适，浑身乏力，还时常发热。

舅婆因为没有文化，听信巫婆的话，说是有鬼附在她身上，必须用她的“去鬼咒”，才能让鬼离开，后来，因为医疗不及时，我那可怜的表姑才23岁，就离开了人世。现在，舅婆常常为此事暗自伤心、流泪，但眼泪换不回人的生命。舅婆现在常常语重心长地说：“你们一定要读好书，将来才不会后悔。”我知道，这是舅婆发自肺腑的话，她根本不会说什么豪言壮语，她只会用“好好学习”来劝慰后人，不要重倒覆辙。

生命是可贵的，生命对于每个人只有一次，我们决不能听信骗人的鬼话，用科学的头脑武装自己，不能因为自己的愚昧、无知，把生命给抛弃了。生命就像一朵花，生命之花是绚烂的，也是脆弱的，稍不珍惜就会枯萎，凋零。让我们远离邪教，让生命之花永远绽放!
