看到这么多美丽的景色，我唏嘘不已。若没有先辈们的努力又怎会为我们留下一片片绿茵，一座座青山。我们一定要努力学习长辈们的努力，长大后，成为祖国的栋梁之才，继续保护先辈们留下的壮阔景色。同时，我也要保护大自然，保护起来，造福后辈子孙们。

说起爱迪生，你们再熟悉不过了吧!不要以为天才和成功是一时之间就能做到的。成功不但要勤奋，更多的则是要有恒心。

爱迪生被世人誉为“发明大王”，他一生为人类提供了约两千项的发明。他为了做竹丝灯找了许多材料，成功之后又不断探索，最后发展到现在我们还在使用的小钨丝灯;他为了把硫酸电池改造成镍铁蓄电池，进行了近五万次的试验，这就是恒心。

做任何的事都要有恒心，有恒心才会成功。《苟子·劝学》一书中说道：“不积硅步，无以至千里;不积小流，无以成江海。”而对研究学问而遇到困难，受到挫折的人，更应该如著名数学家华罗庚所言：“做学问，做研究工作，必须持之以恒，不怕失败。摔倒了，爬起来想一想，再前进。”

在班级里，看到有的同学在写小说，我看到了也想尝试一下，回家在空闲之余便写起小说来。起初，觉着还是挺有滋味，后来写着写着越发觉得无聊，索然无味，便准备放弃。这时，我无意之中翻开了一本《中外哲理故事》，里面的一篇文章讲到了英格兰大军与苏格兰大军战争的故事。由于苏格兰兵力少，又缺少训练，没多久英格兰军队就打到城门口来。苏格兰国王感受到前所未有的挫败感，正当他一筹莫展的时候，无意中看到一只蜘蛛在狂风中织网的一幕，七次织网才最终成。他受到启发，明白了许多，他回家后命令最好的将士训练兵马，又大昭天下，招兵买马，经过一段时间的强化训练，加上兵马增加了，战斗力大大增强了，终于，把英格兰军队赶出了国土。

这时我突然明白了恒心的重要性，不管遇到什么困难，都要努力去克服，要相信，锲而不舍则水滴石穿。于是，我有拿起笔来，试着写我的小说了。

“自制是一种秩序，一种对快乐与欲望的控制。”“你要控制自己的情绪，否则你的情绪便控制了你。”这是古希腊人柏拉图、法国著名文学家大仲马对自律的描述。正如这两位名人所说，自律，是一个人极其重要的品质，也是决定我们成功与否的关键。

在我平时的学习过程中，我也体会到了自律——这种让人控制自己的能力的重要性。先看我自己——有时，我觉得英语作业背诵很麻烦，老师也不一定会抽查到。但因为自律，我还是会尽量调整心态，然后把作业完成好，才继续完成下一项。连续几天，没有抽查到我，我甚至有些沮丧。可在课堂上，看到有些同学没背熟紧张忐忑的样子，我又暗自感谢我的自律。后来叫到我，我流利的背下来，也使我尝到了一些学习中的乐。这些乐积攒起来，成了促使我更加自律的动力。

再看同学——下课时，总有不少同学在学习，看书、写作业、预习、背古文。虽然很辛苦，但放学时，有的同学早已在一天中积累了不少知识。这知识不多，但经过日积月累，涓涓细流汇成江河，能对学习产生巨大的帮助。这——不是自律带来的好处吗?

自律固然好，但人，难免还会有松懈的时候。我也一样，时不时会开小差。于是，我便每周列出一个大计划，每日总结出一个小计划，按着计划去做，一步一步走。时不时比较一下前天、昨天、今天，规划一下明天。有时不想自律了，便用计划来约束一下自己。列出的计划，不可过多或过少，让自己既能劳逸结合，又不至松散。而在完成时，最好能高效率，提前完成，这样既能完成计划，还可以产生成就感，让明天轻松些;甚至，也可以提前休息。计划很重要，但也一定不能只按部就班地照做，有时也要随机应变地调整一下。

自律，也要控制自我的情绪。与别人发生矛盾、冲突时，要先控制好情绪，思考一下，我有没有错?如果有，立刻改正。在有些时候，我明明知道自己错了，仍不想承认，结果总是会产生更大的冲突。因此，控制好情绪，是自律中重要的一部分。

自律不难，但又很难。只要努力，必能做到自律;但要自律，却需要不断地努力，不停地告诫自己，让自己拥有强大的控制自我的能力。我想，自律一定会是通往成功路上的一剂良药，帮助我们不断前进!

The tomb sweeping day is one of the traditional festivals in China. On

April 5th, people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking,

people will bring the home-made food, some fake money and paper-made mansion to

their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor, they will light up

some candles and incense, put some flowers around the tombs. The most important

thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food, also known

as sacrifices, is usually made up with a chicken, a fish and some pork. It’s a

symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the

forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money

to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring

will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their

wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come

true.

In some provinces of China, people use different activities to commemorate

this day, for instance, spring-outing, swinging, tree planting and making

special food. One special food is Ay Tsao rice balls. It looks like Tang-yuan,

but its colour is green. Mix the ay tsao juice with the rice powder, then make

it into small balls. The Ay Tsao rice ball is done. People believe that eating

ay tsao rice balls can get rid of the bad luck and everything will go smoothly.

Other activities such as spring outing, tree planting are the other ways to

commemorate the forbears. For one thing, it is a sign that people should look

into the future and embrace the hope; for another thing, we do hope our ancestor

rest in peace.

有一种爱，是锤炼中的剑，功夫到了，就带着灼热震撼出炉，在血雨腥风中，彰显出爱国本色。

不知是我的偏爱，还是我的固执，我始终觉得剑代表中华民族，剑之气为中华民族之气。剑之魂为中华儿女在困难面前，不但不会倒下，反而越来挫越勇，决不低头的劲儿，成就了古往今来的无数仁人志士，也铸就了今日中华民族的辉煌。

爱国是一种高尚的习惯，当国家需要这种习惯时，它就像会上了膛的枪，只要扣动板机，它就会像子弹，射出千里远。

举世混浊，唯我独清，众人皆醉，唯吾独醒。为了江山，为了美人，他只有来到泊罗江上，用滚滚江水业澄清自己的一片赤胆忠肝，此后的泊罗江中，留下的，不仅仅是一位伟大的爱国诗人的身躯，还涛声如雷地狂吼出屈平对祖国江山社稷最沉重的爱。

大爱，正所谓如此。

大爱在心，却应该用行动来证明。

面对日益衰老的民族，面对随处可见因吸食鸦片而精神不振的人们，面对万恶的侵略者，林则徐为了改变这一状况，于是带领官兵，来到虎门沙滩，让害人的鸦片付之一炬。民族生死存亡时，全国人民只知道：“苟利国家生死矣，邑因宝贵祸富之。”

正如范仲淹说：“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐。”

忧思爱国，正是大爱无言最好表现。

精诚所至，金石为开。就是星星之火，也可以装成燎原之势，大爱的信念，大爱的精神，大爱的精神，将会代代相传。没错，列宁也说：“主义就是千百年来固定下来的对自己祖国的一种最深厚的感情。

正是这样，历史的年轮碾过，却在给后人上演这样感人的爱国举动。正是这样，我们才领略了屈平的倔气，林则徐的勇气。他们像刚出炉的剑，血雨腥风，彰显出爱国本色。

Winter vacation, many happy thing happened, a lot of interesting things happened, many unforgettable things have happened... I today is a thought-provoking thing.

That day, the weather is very cold, snow flied in the sky, spread a thick layer of snow on the ground like a blanket, the whole white world, my mother and I enjoyed very high, ready to go out to play through the snow. "Why cant you give a little love, the in the mind a little more tolerant, more loving? If everyone a little more love, the society will be even more full of warm, isnt it?

寒假里，发生过许多愉快的事，也发生过许多有趣的事，还发生过许多难忘的事……我今天讲述的是一件令人深思的事情。

那天，天气很冷，空中飘着鹅毛大雪，地上像是铺了一层厚厚的雪毯，整个一片雪白的世界，我和妈妈却兴致很高，准备上街去踏雪游玩。走到十字街路口处，我看见有一大群人在围观，就急忙跑过去，想看看究竟是发生了什么事情。

原来是一位老爷爷在街口卖白菜。看他那么大的年纪了，还艰难地挑着两筐绿油油的白菜卖，好可怜哟!我看见白菜上还覆盖着一层白雪呢!他挑着白菜，被三位不知是工商局还是城管局的叔叔发现了，大声吼他，还又推又撞，命令他马上离开，不要随地乱卖菜，这样影响了交通秩序。

我转过身对妈妈说：“他们为什么要对老人这么凶?难道他们自己就不会老?”妈妈没有正面回答我的问题，只是叹了口气，我们就走了。路上，我的心情久久不能平静。

”为什么大家不能都献出一点爱，心里多一些宽容，多一些爱心呢?如果人人都多一些爱心的话，这个社会不是会更加充满温馨吗?
