如果说丽江市位纯美的少女，那么平遥就是黄土高原上的汉子。假期的一个周末，爸爸妈妈带我来到保存最为完好的四大古城之一——平遥。看看城墙，住住老宅，逛逛古街，品尝这里的美食，真是美极了!

我们从北城门进古城。登上十米高地城楼，站在这里看平遥，城内房子上千座，没有楼房，清一色的一层瓦房或平房，最高的建筑高不过城墙，青砖红瓦木门窗是这里的一道亮丽的风景。跟随者导游，踏上青砖铺成的路，仿佛时空逆流，把我们带到春秋战国时期，可真是“平遥归来不看城啊!”

导游把我们带到南大街，这里是平遥城内明清建筑保存最好的一条商业街。它和东西大街相连，集中几十家票号。票号多的地方，镖局也多。我们来到一个镖局，跨入镖局门槛，首先看到的是两辆插着镖旗的镖车——独轮车(和我们看的电视剧里面的镖车一样哦)导游告诉我们，因为是黄土高原，所以有“屁股扭扭，镖车走走”之说。镖车后面，是一口大水缸，满满的一缸水上漂着浮萍，有“福如东海”的寓意，我想，放这么大一口缸在这，也起消防作用吧!水缸后面，是一面屏风墙，不过上面画的不是山水，而是写着一个大大的“武”字，墙的一头立着一把关公刀。左右厢房是镖师们居住的地方，正房是总镖头居住的地方，正房下面还有地下室，是藏贵重物品的地方，相当于现在的保险柜。三所房子成“π”形，站在过道抬头看，头顶是铁丝网，上面还挂了许多小铃铛，原来是为了防止飞贼从空而降，铃铛起报警作用，人们叫它“摇摇铃”，和现在的“110”有同工异曲之妙。飞贼想在这里逃走，可真是一件不容易的事!后院是镖师们练武的地方，十八般武器样样俱全。我在这里也秀了一把，用了吃奶的力气也没把一张弓拉开，别说把箭射出去了!

到了平遥，少不了去平遥县衙看看。我们错过县太爷升堂的时间，只好随便逛逛。我和妈妈来到关押犯人的地方——监狱。根据犯的罪不同，住的监也不同。我走进重犯住的地方，这里的墙壁很厚，里面伸手不见五指，吓得我连忙退出。接着我们又看了古代的刑具，想象着当时残忍的场面，我连忙拉着妈妈的手，离开这个地方。

逛罢古城，我们来到一家餐馆，来品尝一下这里的美食——平遥牛肉和面食。这里的牛肉颜色鲜艳，口感细腻，肉质鲜嫩，肥而不腻，瘦而不柴。最让我难忘的是这里的面食。这里的人们把面做成各种各样的小吃。搓面，就是把面在板子上搓成小鱼大小的细长疙瘩煮，配上山西陈醋和几片青菜叶;四喜丸子还是用醋淹过的面疙瘩。总之，普普通通的面在平遥就能变成你意想不到的美食!

在这里，我爱上了这个古老而又美丽的城市——平遥古城。
