滕王阁坐落在江西省南昌市西北部沿江路赣江东岸，它与湖北黄鹤楼、湖南的岳阳楼并称为江南三大名楼，因初唐才子王勃作《滕王阁序》让其在三楼中最早天下扬名，故又被誉为江南三大名楼之首。
