The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. However, some others are opposed to the idea. They argue that people like eating in the train in the morning because they dont have enough time to eat at their houses or restaurants. Personally, Im against the ban because of the huge inconvenience it would cause to commuters, and the expense involved in enforcing it. Still, I believe we should have a little common courtesy. I think we all have responsibility to try to treat our subway system and fellow riders with respect, and that extends to food as well.

在这一步骤中还需注意三方面问题：

1、确保提纲中段落结构的思路与各段主题句的一致性。只有这样，才能保证所写段落不偏题、不跑题。

2、要综合考虑各个段落的内容安排，避免段落内容的交叉。

3、用好连接词，注意段落间、句子间的连贯性。要做到所写文章层次分明，思路清晰，文字连贯，就需要在句与句之间、段与段之间架起一座座桥梁，而连接词起的正是桥梁作用。

在扩展的过程中也有些窍门，以下几点可供参考：

1、在整篇文章中，避免只是用一两个句式或重复用同一词语。英语中存在着极为丰富的同义词，准确地使用同义词可以给读者清新的感觉。同时要灵活运用各种句式，如倒装句、强调句、省略句、主从复合句、对比句、分词短语、介词短语等，从而增加文章的可读性。

2、使用不同长度的句子。如果一个意思用一句话写不清楚的话，通过分句和合句或用两句、三句来表达，增强句子的连贯性和表现力。

3、改变句子的开头方式，不要总是以主、谓、宾、状的次序。可以把状语至于句首，或用分词等。

4、学会使用过渡词。递进furthermore，moreover，besides，in addition，then，etc ;转折however，but，nevertheless，afterwards，etc ;总结finally，at last，in brief，to conclude，etc ;强调really，indeed，certainly，surely，above a11，etc ;对比in the same way，just as，on the other hand，etc。

5、确定文章用第几人称写，基本时态是什么。使用人称时人物不能张冠李戴或指代不明。时态要尽量保持一致。

检查修改：要检查复核，不要写完了事。

要留时间通读全文，修改可能出现的错误。检查上下文是否连贯，句子衔接是否自然流畅。检验的标准主要是句子是否通畅，该用连词的地方用了没有，所用的连词是否合适，是否有语法错误，主谓是否一致，动词的时态、语态、语气的使用是否正确，词组的搭配是否合乎习惯，是否有大小写、拼写、标点错误等，还有就是注意卷面整洁。

suggestions are for the majority, not for top students. However, top students

always have their own study plans and prefer special homework, so orders usually

won’t take great effect on them.

Maybe you have thought out that teachers can give orders only to the

majority and set some freedom to top students. However, it’s impossible .For a

whole class, teachers couldn’t give order to part of the class, for the majority

would question why they needn’t do such work, but we need? It would be probable

that they think teachers treat them not equally, and will not obey teachers’

orders any more. This is a difficulty for teachers.It also has another

disadvantage——the communication problem .Since teachers are strict, we never

tell teachers our personal affairs or secrets. Mostly we just tell them to our

friends, but as students too, they couldn’t help to solve our problem, such as

puppy love, communication problems or study problems .Not being solved

completely, they always disturb us, influencing our daily life and study. I’m

sure that you think that making friends with teachers can solve the problem, and

you are eager to do so as well. But if we do so, new problems will come out .You

see, an adult couldnt control himself well at times, let alone us students.

However if teachers are our friends, I doubt whether their orders will take

effect any more .You see, have we ever treated our friends’ orders as orders? We

think they’re only jokes. This is another difficulty for teachers.Additionally,

our parents have the same problem. Yes, we need to be friends, but not complete

friends. We need to keep a certain distance, making us communicate well and

willing to take your orders. I remember a story.One day, a lady had her rest

room decorated. And a skilled worker was bricking up the wall. Seeing large

cracks between the bricks, she questioned why. The worker told her after this

summer, the bricks would become bigger, and those cracks would disappear.That is

not only decoration, but also communication. The principle is the same.

There are five people in my family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother and I .

My father is doctor. He works in Yueqing. He goes to work on foot everyday. My father is not very tall, but he is strong, he is very kind to his patients and he loves his work.

My mother is teacher. She works in a middle school in Yue Qing. She goes to work by car. She is a very good teacher in my eyes.

I am a student in Yueqing FLS. My school is very beautiful. There are many tall buildings, green tress, nice flowers in our school. We have wonderful teachers too. I like studying in my school.

My grandparents don’t go to work any more. They have retired. They stay at home everyday. In the morning they go to the park and do morning exercises. In the afternoon, they drink tea with their friends. In the evening, they enjoy themselves watching TV and reading newspapers.

We have a happy family. I can’t say how much I love it!

The Mid-Autumn Festival was listed as one of Chinas cultural heritage in 2006 and was designed to be a public holiday in 2014. The moon cake is regarded as an indispensable food on Mid-Autumn Festival. People give them to their relatives and friends as gifts or enjoy them in the family party. The traditional moon cake is printed with cheracters "longevity", "blessing", "harmony" and so on. What a funny festival!
