祖国啊!就是那地图上像一只金鸡的地方啊!那就是中国，中国，有谁不知道中国呢?仅900多平方千米的土地上，就有地球约21%的人在这里生活。祖国，我的祖国中国无疑使我感到无比的骄傲与自豪的母亲。

这样伟大的国家也会有脆弱的一面，有很多城市都严重缺水，还有各种生态灾难，如地震，海啸等，自然灾害，这分明是地球向人们滥用资源而作出的一系列警告，教育我们要精心地保卫地球的生态环境，中国人民也正在努力，虽然还会有一些灾害，但这些大灾大难面前，我的祖国和祖国人民以顽强的毅力坚持了下来，中国是多么坚强啊!

中国是一个有着五千年文明历史的国家，古往今来，发生了很多战争和变动，才形成了今天强大的祖国，祖国的今天完全是靠为中国顽强斗争的烈士们，几十年前，中国就是一个很受歧视的国家，在多次战争中，中国出了许多有气节的人物，他们无论受到怎样的欺凌，从来都是顶天立地，不肯低头折节，他们为祖国而战，是他们的无私奉献才让祖国有了这美好的今天。

作为一名中国人，我为自己是中国人而骄傲，为祖国而骄傲，为祖国这顽强拼搏的精神而骄傲，我知道，中国并不完美，但是中国将来还会培养出更优秀的人才来，他们会让中国的历史更加辉煌，让中国达到世界光明的高峰，我们中国一定会以更加突出的成绩来表现自己，展示自己。更作为一名小学生，我要在年轻的时刻努力学习，长大后为祖国的事业献身，我要为祖国光辉事业而拼搏，而努力!

祖国幸福的明天，属于我们大家!祖国未来的美好，要靠我们共同去奋斗，去共同努力。

若说风令人清爽，雨令人销魂，月令人缠绵，书则宁静而淡雅，那清新的书香撩起了我心中层层的恋意。它伴随着我一起成长。 If the wind is refreshing, the rain is ecstasy, the moon is lingering, and the book is quiet and elegant.Love.It is accompanied by me growing up.

当我还在牙牙学语时，就特别喜欢听爸爸妈妈给我讲一些简短的小故事，听完后，我会“咯咯”地笑个不停，吵着让爸爸妈妈继续给我讲，爸爸妈妈也只好无奈。当爸爸妈妈不在时，我也会自己抱着一本连环画，将它放在地板上，看阳光斜斜的照在书面上，看里面精美的插画。当看到书中的主人公开心时，我也会跟着傻笑;当看到书中的主人公遇难时，我也会跟着伤心难过，在书的陪伴下，我走过了孩童的时光。

渐渐地，我走进了小学，书依然伴随着我。在烈日的炙烤下，我依然执着的捧起你，细细咀嚼。就算大汗淋漓，也挡不住我对你一片深情。在夜深人静的时候，我们依旧相约。就算妈妈一次又一次的嘱咐我关灯睡觉，命我与你暂别，但我还是忍不住继续读下去。书香就伴随我走过了整个小学时光。

如今，我已经成为了一名初中生，科目的增加，学习的压力在一天天增长，休息的时间却在一点点缩短，而我对于书的依恋丝毫没有消减。中午、晚饭后便是我与它相约的时间。学校图书馆设在综合楼的三楼，偏僻而宁静，但我喜欢这里，高高的书架，整齐的排列着，深入其中可以闻到淡淡的书香。在这里我才能得到真正的放松，心灵才会得到洗涤。

是书，让我懂得了一个又一个深刻的道理，让我收获了一次次成功，让我在心烦意乱的时候静下心来。我相信，书将陪伴我度过一生，走过无数个无眠的夜晚，走过无数次痛苦与失败，在书的陪伴下，我将大步向前，走向那个属于我的未来。

一路书香，一路成长!

Dear Mike,

Your letter and package reached me yesterday. You really give me a great surprise. I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness, and I like the present, which will give me pleasure for a long time to come.

Again it is thoughtful of you to send me the present on my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. We enjoyed ourselves, and all of us mentioned your stay with us. We hope that you will come to China soon, if possible.
