Nevertheless, international organizations do attract attention to the growing problem of aims of the international community to resolve the issue of environmental pollution and support their cause, I do not believe it is the best or only way to protect the environment; in fact, it is only a small part of what is needed in a global initiative.

All world problems, whether it is environmental pollution, war, energy insufficiency, or famine, arise from the abusive behavior of all individuals. Therefore, the solution to all these problems is the need for a collective consciousness. What is meant by this is that each individual must be aware of the impact he or she has on the world and their unique part to play in this world. After all, if one is happy with his life, he will surely not endeavor to harm the environment or anyone else. His behavior will be that of a responsible individual.

What is needed, therefore, is education. Education is the key to all problems and it starts from pregnancy all the way to adulthood and beyond. Furthermore, education means that children all over the world should be allowed to go to schools with good teachers and where teaching materials and methods can be adapted to each individual. Education means raising children to be responsible individuals.

This may sound like utopia, but it is not: if a country had important problems in its educational system, then it should realize that it is contributing to the worlds problems. These are perhaps long term solutions, but they are more realistic solutions than setting up yet another international organization.

保护城市环境，人人有责！

今天放学以后，我训练完了，开开心心的准备回家了。我从书包里掏出自行回家卡，双手递给保安看。出了校门，看见一个高个儿，戴眼镜的姐姐，脸上有一些小小的雀斑。额头上长了一些红色的点点，不知那是什么东西。最引人住瞩目的就是她手中抱得那一沓厚厚的宣传单。

我其实是不想拿传单的，因为我根本就是不需要呀，我故意绕开她，但是，那个大姐姐飞速的跑过来，我本来想说：“姐姐，我不需要，不要给我。”但是我还没有张口说，那个姐姐就把传单塞到了我的手上。哎！我想了想，给了就给了吧，到时候回去给爸爸妈妈看一下就好了，不要的话就扔进垃圾桶吧。

走在回去的路上，我正好看见一个大约上三年级的小朋友，他走到他家的小汽车旁边，他的妈妈把车门打开，小朋友上了车，随手拉好车门，上了车，你知道他妈妈做了什么吗？她他妈妈看到他车头的后视镜上夹了张传单，就随手把传单一扔，扔到了旁边的草地上。

这是那位妈妈的举动让我很生气，本想对她说：“保护城市环境，人人有责！你真不为你自己的行为感到羞耻吗，发传单的人是不应该随便把传单夹在你车上，但是你也不能随便扔啊，如果你不需要的话，找一个垃圾桶扔了也好啊，或是回到家，扔在自己家的垃圾桶里啊。如果中山的每一个人都像你这样，那清洁工阿姨和叔叔得多么辛苦，得多几次弯腰啊！你也不为她们想想，假设这个世界上没有清洁工，那中山不就成了垃圾场啦。你以为这是小事一桩，是不足挂齿的，但你这一份小事，积少成多，就成了大事啦！俗话说的好：“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之。”你觉得你那样做对吗？你想想看，你也是做妈妈的，为什么就不能给小孩做一个好榜样呢？难道保护环境真的很难吗？”可惜的是，我还没有走上去，她就马上开车走人了。

同时，我也很想跟那个同学说：“我们学校的校长说了多少次这种事，难道你就没有听到过。你作为轩小的学生，就算校长讲的你真的没有听到，但你也要有自知之明啊，那条路紧挨着我们的学校，也是我们学校的一部分，你要保护校园环境啊！虽然扔垃圾的不是你，但他是你的亲人，是你的妈妈呀，我知道你看到了你妈妈错误的举动，但是你没有制止你的妈妈，这就是你犯得错误。人人都会犯错误，没有人是从来不犯错误的，就如你亲爱的妈妈，你为什么不批评妈妈随地扔垃圾呢？你比如说我们班的张之韵同学，我看过他学的一篇文章，题目叫《批评妈妈》，人家女生都敢批评妈妈，你是个男生，胆量也不比张之韵小啊！我衷心地希望以后你可以勇敢的批评妈妈，让你的亲人明白我们不应该乱扔垃圾，为了保护城市环境，保护校园环境，为了清洁工阿姨不再那么辛苦，为了你所有的文明，做到吧！”

在回家的路上，我看到了很多的传单，我是数也数不清楚，马路上，大树下，草坪，街道，到处都是传单。我很想问问那些乱扔垃圾的同学和家长，你们为什么要这样做。我叹了一口气，然后从地上捡了几张传单，扔进了垃圾桶。

我想向生活在中山的人们建议：“让我们共同保护我们城市的环境吧，不要再乱扔垃圾了，爱护我们的家园吧！”

大街上，一团团的碎纸屑随处可见；江河上，一个个白色塑料袋正在“迎风起舞”，公园里，一堆堆狗粪便在红花绿草丛中十分扎眼……生活中，这一幕幕如同荧幕上的电影，在不断地上演。保护环境，人人有责，但在现实中总有这样那样行为恶劣的人在糟蹋我们的环境，于是越来越多的自然灾害在不断蚕食人类和地球的生命力，于是我们曾经美丽无瑕的地球变得不再美丽，生灵涂炭、奄奄一息……

“苦海无边，回头是岸”，人类开始不再执迷不悟了！我们惊喜地看到身边越来越多的人加入到环保的队伍中来，在拯救我们不堪的大地和被污染的地球。一个个“环保先锋”越来越频繁地出现在我们的生活里，在一点一点地改变着我们的生活，哪怕仅仅是一个细小的举动，哪怕仅仅是一点一滴的贡献，也足以让我们感动。

在那是一个风和日丽的下午，我在车站等车。不一会儿，车就来了，我随着人流挤进车上，车门一关，那种扑面而来的热气便压得我喘不过起来。大概行驶了两三站吧，只见一位四五十岁的中年妇女上来了，手里还提着几包大大小小的东西，好不容易找到了个座位坐下。她像是费了很大力气似的叹了口气，擦擦额头上的汗，抱怨着什么。我瞥了她几眼，便没去在意。“咳咳——”一阵令人不舒服的咳嗽声传来。那位中年妇女努努嘴一口把痰吐在了地上！我看着地上粘稠的痰，一阵恶心，心想：这人怎么这么没素质，这可是在公共场所！车上的人也看了她几眼。但那位中年妇女却好似什么事也没有一样，接着又掏出纸巾擦了擦脸颊上的汗，随手就把纸巾扔在地上。正在这时，身旁一位年过花甲的老大爷开口了：“这位同志，你可不能把痰随便吐在地上啊！公共汽车这么拥挤，脚都没地方搁，你这么随地吐痰，我们站那里呀，看了多恶心呀！”说着，他顺手捡起脚底下那团纸巾，叹口气说：“嗨，现在的年轻人哪，怎么就这样不爱护环境呢？”接着上前三步，丢进了垃圾桶。那位中年妇女听了这话，脸涨得通红，头也不敢抬一下了。车上的人也都用一种敬佩的目光望着那位老大爷，我也为之佩服不已。

突然瞥见车外广告牌上一行显眼的文字“弯腰捡起一片纸，你就收获了文明！”“我颇有感悟：是呀，遇到垃圾应弯腰捡起，见到不文明的行为要竭力制止，保护环境靠大家，从自己做起，从身边的小事做起。我们要向这位老大爷学习，从弯腰捡起一片纸开始做起，虽然是举手之劳，虽然仅仅是一片纸，我想人人如果都能弯腰捡起一张纸，我们福州乃至全中国收获得一定是越来越多的文明！让”弯腰捡起一片纸，你就收获了文明“的忠言深深地刻在我们的心中，让我们一起为保护周围环境努力做个文明的人吧，从自身做起，从小事做起，我相信这仅仅是一个美好的开端……

我的家乡在湖北荆州，荆州有一条河，叫护城河。以前的护城河风景如画，河水清澈见底，鱼儿在水里欢快地游泳，河面的荷花绽放像花仙子，一阵微风吹拂过来，一阵阵清香扑鼻而来。水草给小河铺上了绿色的锦缎，美极了。人们在河里捉鱼、游泳、洗衣服，护城河水与人们的生活息息相关。

城内的天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润。树木郁郁葱葱，各种各样的小花小草绽开在房前屋后，美不胜收。只要有人从那里走过，都会停下来，欣赏这迷人的风景。

可如今现在的护城河脏乱得不堪入目，水浑浊不堪。河面漂浮着垃圾与死鱼，臭气熏天，人们要掩鼻而过。钓的鱼，即使是活蹦乱跳，却不可以食用。

排污口遍布在河内，一股股发出恶臭的黄水，如同毒龙涌向河内。人们不再在河里游泳、捉鱼了。护城河水如病态的老人在呻吟。

城市的天空如今蒙蒙，天空不再是清新怡人。大街小巷痰迹满地，垃圾随处可见。现在的护城河好像已经变成废河了。

荆州的生态环境已经严重破坏，危害着我们每一个人的身体健康。保护荆州的环境是每一个荆州公民义不容辞的责任。为了荆州有清新的空气，为了有湛蓝深远的天空，为了到处都是鸟语花香、莺啼燕舞。让我们行动起来，也许只有这样，才能让以前迷人的风景回来。

说起保护环境，很多人都会说：“嘿！不就是环境嘛，中国地大物博，用不着保护。”这些人多么无知，其实根本不是这样的。

现在，脏水越来越多了。原本清澈见底的小河小溪变得又脏又臭，原本活蹦乱跳的小鱼也大批死去，时常看到水面上漂浮着死鱼，那是因为人们经常向这些小河小溪随意排放污水的缘故。根据专家检测，中国的水资源正在急速减少，不少水被污染，这是一个大难题。今年暑假，我乘坐盛世公主号邮轮去日本长崎玩，刚从上海港出发时，海水是黄色的而且浑浊不堪。经过两天两夜的航行，抵达了日本长崎的水域。这里的海竟然蓝的那么漂亮，让人感觉与之相比翡翠的颜色太浅，蓝宝石的颜色太深。放眼望去，蔚蓝色的大海和湛蓝色的天空连成了一条线，水天相接就像是一幅美丽的图画。马路上车辆不多，行人更是寥寥无几，街道两旁根本捡不到一个垃圾，地似乎被拖过一遍似的。接待我们的中国导游说：“之所以中国的鱼逐年减少，是因为国内渔民都用渔网捕鱼，一捕就是好几百条，而日本人是钓鱼，钓到小的还得放回去，只能钓大的不能钓小的。”这次旅游的见闻让我难以忘怀。

生活中的污染还不止水污染一种，更可怕的是大气层污染。由于汽车尾气过多和对树木进行大量砍伐，导致空气中的灰尘和尾气形成了雾霾。雾霾就像给阴沉的天空蒙上了一层灰黑的纱布，让你看不见远处的世界，空气中弥漫着一股奇怪的味道，人们出行还得带上口罩。

今年暑假，各小区都在紧急发布通告：登革热来了！这又是不好好保护环境惹的祸！这是一种花斑蚊传染病，通过蚊虫叮咬传播病毒。在夏天，花斑蚊喜欢在积水中产卵，一次可达四千颗。人们在草丛中随手乱丢瓶瓶罐罐、食品与物品的包装袋，下雨天这些垃圾容易积水。有些居民在楼道堆放杂物，在屋顶种菜养花，花盆托盘内的积水等都成了蚊虫孳生的温床。

污染环境，就是危害健康！保护环境，每个人都要行动起来！哪怕是一件微不足道的小事，也要尽自己的能力。现在，我洗碗时会把第二次洗碗的泔水用来擦饭桌、油烟机和灶台；而洗完脸的水呢，我会把它用来冲马桶；上下学接送，我让妈妈骑电动车，尽量少开车；去外面吃饭时不用一次性筷子，尽量少用餐巾纸，用自带手帕。每做一件这样的小事，我就想一想，环境是不是好了一点点呢？

保护环境，人人有责。只要每一个人共同努力，就能够还我们一个美丽的绿色家园！

On Water Shortage

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable

for us to expect a brighter future.

这个星期，吴老师组织我们同学开展一次调查周围环境的活动。星期天，我们小组对学校附近的花地河及周边情况进行调研。

我们来到了芳村大道，看见有些厂房冒出来的是未经严格处理的黑烟；马路上有许多来回穿梭的汽车，排出来的废气，已经使我们感到不适了；沿路随处可见乱贴乱画的情景；偶有一堆堆或新或旧的垃圾。

当我们来到花地河畔，原来清澈见底的河水变得浑浊不清。时而见一簇簇的水浮莲漂浮在河面，时而也见三几条昂着白肚的小鱼在水面上一沉一浮，随水漂流。突然，我们发现一股黑流自西向东流去，很像一条黑龙。我们好奇地问向一位路人：“这是怎么一回事？”他说：“应该是上方工厂排下来的污水！”同学们都感到很愕然。

很不幸，观察完毕后，我突然感到一阵晕眩，跟着呕吐起来……其他家长都很紧张，妈妈立刻把我带到就近医院检查，确诊为细菌感染。想不到第一个受害的竟是自己。

通过这一次活动，我建议大家做到以下几点：

1、不要乱扔垃圾：

2、减少空气污染，少排废气和污水；

3、保护河流，多种植树木，美化环境。

保护环境，人人有责。真希望政府、企业、市民为我们拥有一个蓝天白云、鱼清水欢的家园而共同努力。
