萨拉是我们的英语口语老师,她来自加拿大。很多学生都很尊敬和喜爱她。她给我的最深刻的影响是她的热情、慷慨又随和的性格。萨拉总是很乐观，不断地努力了解每一个学生。她还会在课上给我讲有趣的故事和笑话，所以她教的英语课都很轻松有趣。她喜爱教学工作，渴望一生都献身教育事业。因为她的优秀表现，她获得了许多奖项，其中有模范教师奖。

In my life I have met many people who are really worth mentioning.But perhaps the most unforgettable person I have ever known is my English Teacher.

It is his special quality that is always kept in my memory.

For one thing,I was attracked by his wide range of knowledge.I remember that we students always attended his class with great eaherness because his lectures were humourously delivered,and he never failed to give us valuable advice.Nothing seemed difficult to learn after his explanation.

For another,I was deeply impressed by the respect he showed for us.As he treated us like friends rather than students,we all liked to visit his home for social activities as well as for advice.

Although it is over a year now since I attended his last class,he is the talk of our old classmates,and I know part of him has already stayed in my heart.

Our mind, a record of growing up learned knowledge, it is your hard education results. Thank you, my teacher. Is that you get me into the world of knowledge, let me in the way of growth, sucking the showers of culture. Thank you, let me sit in the classroom learning knowledge, teach us between students should live in peace.

Remember once, you taught us a word. Mainly wrote pastoral scenery. The teacher gave us your patience. As we raise hand to ask questions, the teacher you is talked, to an abrupt end when we are deluded. What is the meaning of wu phonetics? Later, wu phonetics and word meaning, we are all in mind, but in order to prevent forget, we are written in the book. The teacher asked what we mainly expressed the first words? Although I didnt say it out, but later, I knew I was right. The teacher often goad to let us improve the learning interest, let us love of learning, can better learning. The teacher you learned not only humor, is also very strict. The teacher you let me know a lot of knowledge; You let us know. When you understand the reason and foundation, also told us dont bite the hand that feeds you, the kindness. The teacher, I will never forget you, I will repay the grace of your teachings.

This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. The writer O’Henry called it the one day that is purely American. Thanksgiving is not a religious holiday. But it has ritual meaning. Some Americans attend religious services on the day before Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving morning. Others travel long distances to be with their families. They have a large dinner which is the main part of the celebration. For many Americans, Thanksgiving is the only time when all members of the family gather. The holiday is a time of family reunion. Thanksgiving week is generally one of the busiest travel times of the year. However, experts say this year probably will be different. On September 11th, thousands of people died when terrorists hijacked airplanes that struck buildings in Washington D.C. and New York City. Many people now say they are worried about flying on a plane. Travel experts say almost 6 percent fewer people will make long trips this Thanksgiving compared with last year. Many Americans who usually visit family and friends by plane are driving shorter distances instead this week. Some mental health experts say the attacks have frightened people. They say people feel safer and happier close to home. More than any other holiday, Thanksgiving is a celebration of family and home. Many people say that this year they are especially thankful for their families and friends and the good things in their lives. On Thanksgiving, people enjoy a long day of cooking, eating and talking. The traditional meal almost always includes the turkey with a bread mixture cooked inside. Other traditional Thanksgiving food served with turkey are sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Stores are said to sell more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year, and many people eat more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year. Over the years, Americans have added new traditions to their Thanksgiving celebration. For example, a number off professional and university football games are played on Thanksgiving Day. Some of the games are broadcast on national television.

“叮铃铃，一位老师踏着铃声走进教室，清了清嗓子，喊道："Standup。”没错，他就是我可爱的英语老师。他有一颗宛如“光头强”一般的锃亮的脑袋，两个眼睛不大不小，却因太过疲劳，带上了一对“迷你车轮”，他身材偏瘦，也不是太高，但看上去却很精神。

英语老师上课搞笑，幽默，却又令我们受益匪浅。瞧，他又开始讲作业了。“对，下一题。”他话音未落，我便开始插嘴了：“does，does，does。”我兴奋地大叫三声，一脸兴奋地望着老师，而他却一言不发，快步走到我身边，眼睛瞪得铜铃大小，望着我：“再说一遍。”还好我经验丰富，看到他似笑非笑的眼神，立马改口：“哦，不对不对，是is，is。”“呼，吓死我了，幸亏我反应快，要不就挂了。”我心中暗想道。

“哈哈哈……”，但还没等我喘口气，周围便传来了一阵哄笑，瞬间一种不好的感觉遍布全身，后背也不自觉地出了一身冷汗。只见老师一只手朝我脸伸来，轻轻捏住我的右眼皮，愠怒道：“呵，你自己好好看看。”说完，便把手缩了回去，轻拍了一下我的脑袋：“看清楚再回答。”唉，又错了。

有了刚才的教训，我便乖乖地把嘴巴闭起来，一言不发。不一会老师便注意到我的情况，又开玩笑说：“这会学乖了，不插嘴了？被揪一下就不敢说了，真是胆小。”我听了，鼓起勇气，又积极回答起来。就这样，英语课就在一阵又一阵欢笑声不知不觉地度过了。

这，就是我的英语老师了，一位幽默风趣而又善于开导学生的老师。

Hello! Here, on behalf of the kindergarten, I would like to extend new

years greetings and high respect to all the hardworking staff!

Although I didnt go through every day of the year with you, my eyes and my

heart have always been paying attention to the good times along the way. With my

eyes, I will take you to review the fragments in the deep memory. Lets comb the

pictures that shake our hearts and find the footprints of our colleagues growing

together!

Spring is the spring of sowing hope. Just experienced the re evaluation

work of provincial kindergarten, every colleague has experienced a

transformation like "Phoenix Nirvana", and the power brought by this is like a

hibernating and waking small animal, stretching endless power.

Mr Shao taught me English when I was in Senior Three.With the bald head and hunchback, the fifty or some man distinguished himself from his counterparts in many ways.

He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. Due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. At times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. He suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. Although I knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.

What`s more, none of us could imagine how excellent his ancient Chinese literature was. What he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into English.  However, under the pressure of College Entrance Exam, the students didn`t seem to be so interested in his performance.  Therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of Times as prizes for answering questions. It worked on us instantly.

On the day of the entrance exam, he waited nervously with us out of the examination room.  He kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the exam. Not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

亲爱的老师：

您好!

您是一位好老师，对学生十分负责，不像五年级时的英语王老师，动不动就说不给上课(还真不给上课)，您虽然动不动就发火，可是您还是爱我们的呀。

记得有一次，您上课的时候，可我们在下面又是说，又是笑，又是比划，可忙坏了。您开始想着我们会改正(这是我理解的)，但我们还不改正，反而变本加厉的说着我们感兴趣的话题。您生气了，把书往桌上狠狠地扔了一下，您对我们大喊：“停!”我们吓的打一了颤，然后赶紧装模作样的拿起书读，谁知我们一出声，就“驴头不对马嘴”。您又发火了，干脆坐下来和我们比赛——看谁“熬”过谁。我们一见您这阵势，我们也不读了，但是就怕您告诉数学老师，让他批我们。过了一会，要下课了，您气消了，又教我们读起了英语。

还有一次，班上同学——王莹在英语课上，肚子里“翻江倒海”，头上也渗出了豆大的汗珠，满脸通红。下课了，您还在“拖”课，走到王莹那，看见她的样子。于是手拉着王莹的手，一手摸着她的头，亲切的问她的病情，并安慰她。您拉着她下楼，她烧的太厉害，四肢抽筋，您便把她背了下去。

老师，您是多么爱我的呀，我们将永远感谢您!
