When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why moonquakes are eaten at this time.

话说“海上升明月，天涯共此时”一年一度的中秋节快到了，我们五(9)班师生欢聚一堂，共庆佳节，其乐融融。同学们都准备好好地品尝美味月饼，这么快乐的日子，可我却和其它五位同学被罚站在讲台上。原因，哎，还得从早上说起。

农历八月十五日是中国的传统节日——中秋节。在这天，每个家庭都团聚在一起，一家人共同观赏象征丰裕、和谐和幸运的圆月。此时，大人们吃着美味的月饼，品着热腾腾的香茗，而孩子们则在一旁拉着兔子灯尽情玩耍。

"Zhong Qiu Jie" probably began as a harvest festival. The festival was later given a mythological flavour with legends of Chang-E, the beautiful lady in the moon.

中秋节最早可能是一个庆祝丰收的节日。后来，月宫里美丽的仙女嫦娥的神话故事赋予了它神话色彩。

According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over it. One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat. The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns. Yi stole the elixir of life to save the people from his tyrannical rule, but his wife, Chang-E drank it. Thus started the legend of the lady in the moon to whom young Chinese girls would pray at the Mid-Autumn Festival.

传说古时候，天空曾有10个太阳。一天，这10个太阳同时出现，酷热难挡。弓箭手后翌射下了其中9个太阳，拯救了地球上的生灵。他偷了长生不死药，却被妻子嫦娥偷偷喝下。此后，每年中秋月圆之时，少女们都要向月宫仙女嫦娥祈福的传说便流传开来。

In the 14th century, the eating of mooncakes at "Zhong Qiu Jie" was given a new significance. The story goes that when Zhu Yuan Zhang was plotting to overthrow the Yuan Dynasty started by the Mongolians, the rebels hid their messages in the Mid-Autumn mooncakes. Zhong Qiu Jie is hence also a commemoration of the overthrow of the Mongolians by the Han people.

在14世纪，中秋节吃月饼又被赋予了一层特殊的含义。传说在朱元璋带兵起义推翻元朝时，将士们曾把联络信藏在月饼里。因此，中秋节后来也成为汉人推翻蒙古人统治的纪念日。 字串7

During the Yuan Dynasty (A.D.1206-1368) China was ruled by the Mongolian people. Leaders from the preceding Sung Dynasty (A.D.960-1279) were unhappy at submitting to foreign rule, and set how to coordinate the rebellion without it being discovered. The leaders of the rebellion, knowing that the Moon Festival was drawing near, ordered the making of special cakes. Packed into each mooncake was a message with the outline of the attack. On the night of the Moon Festival, the rebels successfully attacked and overthrew the government. What followed was the establishment of the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1368-1644). Today, moon cakes are eaten to commemorate this event.

在元朝，蒙古人统治中国。前朝统治者们不甘心政权落入外族之手，于是密谋策划联合起义。正值中秋将近，起义首领就命令部下制作一种特别的月饼，把起义计划藏在每个月饼里。到中秋那天，起义军获取胜利，推翻了元朝，建立明朝。今天，人们吃月饼纪念此事。

每当我听到“人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺……”这首诗，我就会想到中秋节，难忘的中秋节。中秋节代表着合家团圆，月圆人团圆嘛，所以我比较喜欢中秋。以前每当我过中秋节，我们全家总会聚在一起吃月饼，看电视。我印象最深的是有一年中秋，我、妈妈和爸爸在游泳池里一边游泳一边赏月。而那时已是秋天，所以总感受凉飕飕的。虽然一跳进水里有些冷，但是那感觉特别值得回味。游泳边赏月，真是神仙般的享受啊！可今年的中秋跟以前的就有些不同了。

中秋节到了，我和妈妈却一直在逛家居广场。太阳快下山了，我们才逛完。后来，我们准备去书城必胜客吃饭。在路上，我无意中透过车窗看见圆圆的月亮镶嵌在空中。奇吹过来，感到格外凉爽。怪！怎么今年的月亮不是那么圆呢？哦，我知道了，可能是爸爸不在身边陪伴我们的缘故吧。那时，我又看了看妈妈，她正在全神贯注的开车，一阵凉风

不知不觉就到了必胜客。刚进餐厅，手机突然响了。我一看手机，原来是爸爸！我赶紧接通电话，和他聊了很久很久。说实话，我很想爸爸。

我真希望下一次中秋节，除了爸爸，还有爷爷、奶奶都能聚在一起团圆。但我还是要感谢妈妈每年中秋都能陪着我。

“每逢佳节备思亲”，今天是农历八月十五，又是一年一度的中秋佳节，我和爸爸妈妈一家三口，经过一个小时的驾驶，到爷爷家去团聚。

晚上，吃完团圆饭，爷爷奶奶和我们全家一块到楼顶品月饼赏月。我们边聊边津津有味地吃月饼，有双黄的、咸菜的、火腿的……咬一口，甜甜的，味道好极了!这时，月亮害羞地轻轻地掀起它的面纱，渐渐地露出它的那张能发光的脸蛋，像一只银盘似的，一会儿穿过云层，一会儿躲过小星星，一会儿又悄悄的藏了起来，我们抬头仰望，心里对遥远的月空充满了无限的遐想，中秋的月亮好美啊!

时间过得真快，一转眼夜已深了，中秋之夜是个美好、祥和的夜晚。但愿天下的所有人家在这个时候，欢聚一堂，品尝月饼和瓜果，享受天伦之乐。

母爱是很伟大的，像这件事让我终生难忘。转眼间，一年一度的中秋节又到来了。团团圆圆的习俗，当然不能忘。爸爸放假了，带着我们一起回老家去吃团圆饭。

妈妈和姥姥忙着准备晚餐，一盘盘美味的饭菜，陆陆续续的端上桌菜上齐了，妈妈最后端来一大盆螃蟹。看到桌上又大又肥的螃蟹，我的口水都快流到地上了。妈妈开始分螃蟹了，我心想：妈妈和姥姥。姥爷都最爱我了，那个最大的螃蟹一定是我的了！妈妈夹起螃蟹，我心里又暗暗自喜。眼看螃蟹就要放进我的盘子里了，可是妈妈的筷子一拐把螃蟹放进了姥爷的盘子里，我一时气得都说不出话来。这时妈妈又加起了一只，我想上一次是给姥爷了，这一次肯定是给我了吧！我充满了期待，可是谁知妈妈又把第二大的螃蟹夹给了姥姥，弄得我都快气哭了。妈妈每次都是最爱我的，这次怎么啦？这次不喜欢我了吗？就这样，妈妈把盘子里的螃蟹按从大到小的顺序依次分给了家人，最后剩下一大一小的螃蟹。唉！我叹了一口气，小生嘀咕着说：“看来我是要吃那只最小的了！”谁知道妈妈竟然把那只螃蟹夹给了自己？！把那只稍大一点的螃蟹给了我。

看到碗里美味的螃蟹，我的鼻子忽然酸酸的，眼眶也红了。母爱是伟大的，只要我们留心观察生活中的点点滴滴，就会发现母爱无处不在，妈妈的关爱比过所有人的奖励夸奖！

中秋节，是一个全家团聚的日子。每年的这一天不知道有多少人不远千里回家过节呢。关于中秋节，还有一个美丽的传说呢。话说在很久以前天上有十个太阳，因为太热，使得庄稼颗粒无收，百姓的日子过得非常艰辛。终于有一天，一个名叫后羿的英雄射掉了九个太阳。从此以后，百姓过得越来越开心幸福。王母为了奖励后羿，便赏给他一颗仙丹，可后羿因为舍不得妻子嫦娥，便将仙丹收了起来。这件事被后羿的一个徒弟蓬蒙知道了，便趁后羿出门打猎时，逼嫦娥交出仙丹。情急之下，嫦娥吞下了仙丹，飘向空中……因为这天是农历八月十五，人们为了纪念嫦娥，便在每年的八月十五用水果点心摆在院子里以缅怀她。慢慢地八月十五就演变成了中秋节，成为中国的传统佳节。

今年，我怀着异常兴奋的心情迎来了这个节日。在中秋节那天，我们全家聚集在一起，吃团圆饭。吃到兴起时，爸爸拉开窗帘准备赏月，才发现没有半点月亮的影子。“哎呀，我怎么给忘记了，这几天是阴雨天，天上是没有月亮的。”“唉，世界上还真是没有十全十美的事呢。”我有些扫兴地说。爸爸又说：“没关系，不能赏月，还可以吃月饼嘛。中秋节最重要的是一家人能开开心心地聚在一起，这比什么都重要。”“嗯。”我又重新打起精神来。妈妈说：“我们来玩个游戏——说诗比赛吧。但诗中要出现‘月’字，看谁说的最多，分到的月饼就最多”。全家人都举双手赞同。“明月几时有，把酒问青天。”我抢先答道。“小时不识月，呼作白玉盘。”奶奶又说道。“床前明月光，疑是地上霜。”“海上生明月，天涯共此时。”……经过一番激烈的争夺战，我们终于分出了胜负。爸爸第一，我第二，妈妈排名老三，爷爷是第四名，奶奶最后一名。我大声地宣布结果。话音刚落，爸爸就拿来一个包装精致的盒子，打开一看，今年月饼的口味可真多呀!有紫薯的、金腿的、咖啡的、海苔的等，各种口味应有尽有，看着让人直流口水。就这样，我们全家团聚在一起，吃着月饼，聊着天，在欢声笑语中度过了这难忘的中秋节。

今年的中秋节与往年的都与众不同，更令人难忘。因为我不仅从中学到了许多有关月亮的名词佳句，还明白了中秋节真正的意义。真是一个令人难以忘怀的节日啊!

Lastsummer holiday, I learned to swim. It was very unforgettable and interesting. Iwent to the swimming pool with my father. He taught me how to swim. At first, Iwas afraid of diving in the water. And I felt uncomfortable in the water. But fathersaid it doesn’t matter and he would protect me. Then I began to swim, but I couldn’tswim forward at all. It made me upset. Then father told me how to move, how to stretchout my hands and legs. Slowly, I could move a little. In fact, it was not thateasy. I learned it for almost half a month. I was excited when father told me Imade it.

去年暑假，我去学游泳，那是很难忘也很有趣的一件事，我和爸爸去游泳池，他叫我怎么游。起初，我害怕潜入水里，在水里感觉也不好。爸爸说没关系的，他会保护我。然后我就开始学习游泳，但是我一点也游不出去，这让我很沮丧。爸爸告诉我应该怎么动，怎样伸手蹬腿。慢慢的，我就能稍微移动了。事实上，学游泳并不简单。我学了大概半个月。当爸爸告诉我我成功了的时候，我很激动。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival.

It’s on the fifth of August. We can hang lanterns in the house. In the evening, we have a big dinner. Look, there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken, fish, crabs and so on. They’re very delicious. We can drink a glass of juice. We stand beside the table and we say, “Cheers, cheers, happy Mid-Autumn Festival!” We make a wish to each other. At night, the moon is usually round and bright. It looks like a ball. We can enjoy the moon. Moon cakes are the special food for this festival. We can eat moon cakes, too.

In the Mid-Autumn Festival, my parents and I are all very happy and excited.
