Madame Tussauds and Old millfun 1933 are my favourite.I saw many Chinese superstars’ wax figures such as Wu Yifan,Huang Xiaoming in Madame Tussauds.And there are also internastional stars,sports stars,cultural celebrities and so on.These wax figures are like a real person.I was very interested in it.Old millfun 1933 is famous.Tiny Times and Running man have shoted here.It is not gorgeous ,but it reserved integrity.It shows us the culture about that time.

In recent years, tourism has developed rapidly in China. Many people believe that tourism produce positive effects on economic growth and we should try our best to promote tourism. But what these people fail to see is that tourism may bring about a disastrous impact on our environment. As for me, Im firmly convinced that too much tourists bring harm to the environment.

The bad impact of tourism on the environment has mainly expressed itself in various ways. One way is the proceof exploiting a new scenic spot. Therefore, the issue of whether the tourism will bring harm to the environment is becoming a matter of concern. As for me, I hold that the tourism does more harm than good to the world. In the first place, the more places we travel to , the more pressure will be added to the environment. 今年寒假假期的时候，我和外婆来到北京游玩，给我印象最深的，就是紫禁城了。

穿过了天安门和午门，我们便来到了紫禁城内。紫禁城有近千座建筑，100多座院落。它是中国现存规模最大、保存最完整的古建筑群。我们先后参观了乾清宫、东六宫、乾清门广场……但给我感觉最有特色的，就是三大殿了。这三大殿分别是太和殿、中和殿和保和殿。我们跟着导游先来到了太和殿。听导游说，太和殿面积有2377平方米，是三殿中最大的。太和殿是明清两代皇帝举行朝政大典的地方，里面可容纳一千多人马呢！接着，我们来到了中和殿。中和殿明初称华盖殿，富力堂皇。最后，我们来到保和殿。导游说保和殿是皇帝举行典礼前在此更换礼服的地方。清代主要在这里举行宴会和殿试。紫禁城建筑典雅富丽，富有浓郁的生活气息。

可惜的是，在1900年时，八大联军侵略京城，把紫禁城内所有宝物洗劫一空。

Nowadays， more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed. Among them， the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps.

From the report we can see that in 20XX，40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays. But now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent. More people go out for fun. For a more quiet evening, a trip to Victoria Peak offers a spectacular view of the city. There is also a promenade along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, which is popular among young Chinese couples. Shopping, a form of entertainment for the people of Hong Kong, is even done at nighttime as evident in the Temple Street Night Market where one can also catch free performances of Peking opera.

The citys cosmopolitan flavour can also be seen in the wide variety of cuisines available. While different varieties of Chinese selections, especially seafood, are most popular, there are also many European, American, Japanese, Korean, and other restaurants. Ethnic dishes served in cha chaan teng and dai pai dong are also popular. The people of Hong Kong take their food seriously and many top chefs make their way to the city to show off their talents to these discerning diners.

While Hong Kong is a global centre of trade, perhaps the citys most famous export is its entertainment industry, particularly in the martial arts genre. Several top-notch Hollywood performers originate from Hong Kong cinema -- Bruce Lee, Chow Yun-Fat, Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Jet Li and Leslie Cheung, to name a few. Behind the camera, Hong Kong filmmakers have also struck fortune in Hollywood such as John Woo, Wong Kar-wai, Tsui Hark and martial arts choreographers who have designed fight scenes in the Matrix trilogy, Kill Bill and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. 在这个寒假假期，也就是我在小学阶段的最后一个假期里，大人们为了避开城市的嘈杂声，到清静的地方享受一下，于是带我到鼎湖山附近的凤凰镇游玩。鼎湖山主要分为两大景区：一是由主道上主峰到大鼎和庆云寺；二是从凤凰镇进去的九龙湖附近一带的雨林沟谷。

在这次旅游里让我感受最深的是第二天到牛归栏谷雨林探险的时候，那里十分刺激：单，双钢索悬在水面上，离水面有一米多两米那么高，而且每条至少有五米多，长的有十几米长，而容脚走的就只有一条几毫米宽的钢索。特别是那些单钢索，虽然没有双钢索那样长，但是由于上下两条钢索是垂直对齐的，所以爬的时候背脊不是向上就是向下，看上去已觉很危险，还有下面的索拉不直，站上去更让你心惊胆战。

而最难的就是爬那些山路了。那些所谓的山路其实是一些比较矮的悬崖峭壁罢了，只不过在两旁加了一排绳索和铁链，而且因为是雨林的关系，四周都有溪水流下来，加之有的石头上有青苔，所以经常都会太滑而差点跌到，又有的地方太陡峭太高，一定要抓紧绳索，用脚踩着石壁的凹痕和突出来的地方才能爬上去，从山脚到山上再出来至少要1个小时才能走完全程。而这个探险最可贵的是可以充分体现团队中的团结精神：后面的队员可以把上面的情况报告给前面的队员听(如树枝阿，岩石阿)；而先锋则把前面的情况报告给后面的队员听(如湿滑的地面阿，钢索阿)。

这次旅我真高兴，因为我不但增长了知识，而且也懂得了怎样团结合作。

In recent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in our nation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over, it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.

There are a few reasons accounting for my views and I would like to list three of them. One of the examples is that a large number of woods and other plants were replaced by all kinds of accommodation facilities or scenic spots. That definitely breaks the ecological balance of these areas and destroys the natural beauty of the scenic spots. Worse still, more pressure has been placed environment protection in that many tourists left their garbage in the scenic spots. In addition, over-developed tourism will occupy large numbers of farmland and lead to the shortage of the land.

In a word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development. Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering the environment. And we should keep the balance between tourism development and environment protection so that we can achieve the sustainable development between our nation’s economy and the environment.

A Trip to Beijing

My American friend Tom and I went to Beijing by plane last summer.

On the first day，we visited the Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square. The next day，we climbed the Great Wall. We took lots of photos. Although we felt tired，it was a fantastic experience. The third day we relaxed. Then we had the Beijing roast duck for lunch. I think it is the most delicious food in the world. Tom is interested in Chinese culture，so we drank tea and saw Beijing Opera in Lao She Teahouse in the evening. Finally，we did some shopping and flew back to Guilin.

The trip to Beijing was short，but it was wonderful. Tom said that he would never forget it.

这座展示面积5。28万平方米的展馆，汇集了北极熊、白鲸、企鹅、海象、海狮、海豚、海豹等来自世界各地近千种的海洋生物，极具观赏性、趣味性和娱乐性。

我们首先来到极地世界的极地馆，在神秘的冰雪世界里，憨态可掬的白鲸频频向我点头、招手，仿佛在欢迎我这个远道而来的客人。它那双笑眯眯的眼睛，仿佛在向我诉说着它的生活是多么的甜蜜、幸福。它们是地球的生灵，来自远古大地，它们是地球的精灵，尽显生命魅力……

海豚的表演惊险刺激，令人不可思议。它们竟能跃出水面七米多高，接住抛向空中的彩环，它们能随着音乐在水中转呼拉圈，它们的动作是那么娴熟优美。它们在水中时而信庭漫步，时而急流勇进。它们能把潜入水底的训练员叔叔抛向半空中，然后再稳稳地接住。这一幕幕精彩绝伦的演出，一场场扣人心弦的绝技，让整个节目达到高潮，生命之歌在这里荡漾，生命故事在这里上演……

节目结束之后，我仍旧意犹未尽，久久不能平静，这次蓬莱之旅真是不枉此行。
