远看长城，它像一条巨龙，在无数座高山中盘旋。它高低起伏，时而隐藏在群山中，时而从群山中一跃而出，好像要冲上云霄。

爸爸抱着我，沿着陡峭的台阶往上走，我看着长城，很难找到一处平整的地方，全部都是陡峭的台阶、斜坡，每处斜坡和台阶的连接处都有一座城楼。这些城楼犹如一座座巨大的，雄伟的城堡。

爬到顶，长城上人山人海。有的在和长城合影，有的在赞叹长城的雄伟，人们都说：“嗯，这八达岭长城果真名不虚传!”，还有的在欣赏美丽的风景。连外国人都来到中国欣赏长城美。从长城上望下去，群山连绵起伏，一片片茂密的树林映进我们的眼帘，郁郁苍苍，一望无际。

长城是用巨大的条石和城砖砌成的，高大坚固，城墙上铺着方砖，方砖十分平整。城墙外沿有成排的“窗口”和“缺口”。

长城，真是世界着名的伟大建筑。
