Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. 眼界——让我们划开那一道限制的“界限”，用你的眼睛去探寻更为广阔的蓝天。

我家楼下有几株杏树。

春天到了，万物沐浴着阳光，每一株植物都生机勃勃，想要成为春天的第一抹色彩。这时，却有一团熊熊燃烧的“火焰”令它们“望而生畏”。呵，原来是朝气蓬勃的杏花苞!你瞧，她们就似一位位婴儿鼓着腮帮，令人忍俊不禁。一朵朵水滴状的花骨朵儿落在枝干上，在纵横交错的树枝丛中，有几颗闪闪发亮的红宝石镶嵌其中，我想，只有大自然的鬼斧神工才能造出如此诗情画意的水墨画吧!

我漫步在“曲径通幽”的小道上，在一片片翠绿枝叶的掩映下，远处赫然出现了一片粉红的“云霞”，如梦似烟，我情不自禁加快了脚步。突然，一片粉色映入眼帘，抬头一望，是杏花!随着时间的变化，颜色越来越淡，可是活泼可爱的婴儿长成了端庄优雅的少女?她踏着盈盈小步，款款向我走来，携着阵阵清香，氤氲我的心田。坐在花旁的椅子上，幽远的香气伴着那绵延不断的思绪，随风徜徉，我在粉红的梦幻世界里，不觉飘飘欲仙了。那一朵朵绽开笑脸的花儿倚在枝头，争奇斗艳，不正是“道白非真白，言红不若红，请君红白外，别眼看天工”的写照吗?此等的巧夺天工，耐人寻味!

春末夏至，蓦然回首，已不见那片粉霞，只是白茫茫的一片。我来到杏花跟前，风儿拂过，成百上千的“粉蝶”从天而降，翩翩起舞。我缓缓地伸出手，接过了一片雪白的花瓣儿，小心翼翼地来回抚摸着，它如丝绸般光滑，是否是仙女一不小心丢失的白绢?一朵朵花儿，似乎时刻准备着展翅高飞，星星点点的白“珍珠”被“玉线”连成了一串串做工精致的项链，华丽又不张扬。风儿徐徐，整装待发的“粉蝶”们在空中跳着优美的华尔兹，一会儿，花瓣悄无声息地落下，“雪花”漫飘，“粉蝶”飞舞，我的心早已随着“粉蝶们”自由翱翔。花虽已落，香却永存，好一幅蝶舞雪飘图，令人啧啧称奇!

她渴了，园丁并没有给她水喝，因为知道她的根能在地下找到水源，这是培养了她的独立性;她的枝干疯狂地成长，园丁会毫不留情地剪下，减少营养的摄入。也许，只有父母才能做到如此之爱吧!

夏天到了，树上结了一个个酸甜可口的杏子，大家在品尝美味的果实时，却遗忘了杏花曾经的模样，那在空中飞舞的粉蝶不正是杏子的“前身”吗?

一年又一年，花落又花开。或许，只要仔细欣赏，细细品味，认真体会，才会记住她们一辈子。等你品尝杏子时，请不要忘了那盛开的梦幻的蝶舞杏花……

Trees are very useful to people. They provide us with wood and other

products. They give us shade and they help to prevent drought and floods.

Unfortunately， in many parts of our country， people havent realized the

importance of trees. They cut them down at will. They are usually too lazy or

too careless to plant and look after new trees. As a result， the forests

continue to disappear.

Where there are no trees the rain falls on the surface， causing floods， and

carries away with the rich topsoil， in which crops grow so well. When all the

topsoil is gone， nothing remains but worthless deserted.

The big floods of 1998， in parts of China， have already taught us a good

lesson. So every one of us must love trees， protect forests， and keep on

planting trees each year.

爱默生曾经说过，“专注、热爱、全心贯注于你所期望的事物上，必有收获。”我们为了达到“专注”这个境界，我们就要把所有的心思都集中在这一件事上，不为外物所打扰。一旦有了专注一念的努力，就会事半功倍，才会获得成功。

那专注是什么呢?专注就是专心，指做一件事全身心的投入，不三心二意。这其中很重要的是要确认正确的目标，处处专注，这样才不会留下“入宝山而空返”的遗憾。

专注一念是一种品质，自古至今成大事者，都是专注于自己的目标和追求的人。有一次，爱迪生发现了一个问题，自己就在实验室里研究起来，他居然忘记了今天是他和新娘的新婚之夜，直到有人来提醒他，他这才反应过来，如果不是有人过来提醒，他甚至会茶不思饭不想的连夜工作，他愿意在实验室里做实验上万次，而这也正是他的这种品质，才使他的发明创造得到了重大的成就。

再比如董仲舒，他也是一个认真专注的人。因为在他家的院里有一个好似世外桃源般的林子，为了让自己一心一意、专心致志的学习、读书，就强迫自己三天不往院子里看一眼景色。他自觉遵守自己的承诺，全神贯注的在自己的屋里学习，正是有了这个习惯，才使他在汉武帝面前发扬才能，提出“罢黜百家，独尊儒术”的建议。

所以，专注并不是要让我们变成“两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书”的书呆子，专注所表现的是一个执着求取的态度。只有对所做之事专心、醉心，排斥不必要的纷扰，才会满载而归。

至美、至精是专注的最高境界，如果一个人做事没有了专注，那就不会成功。

伟大的人之所以伟大就是因为他和别人处于同一境遇时，别人都迷惑茫然，而他却能冷静下来，找准正确的方向以获得成功。

那时候还不懂，就如同孩童时期一直执著的梦想，它似一只无形的手，黑暗中给给予我冲破黎明的勇气。一直都以为有了梦想就有了方向，一切都会变得简单又美好。

现在才明白，很多事情不是有了方向就一定会达到。如同我一直以来的梦想：我想成为一位考古学家，我想成为一个自由自在，去做自己的事情的人，去挖掘那些曾经暗无天日的古物，去描绘曾经繁华一时的都城，去仰望那些洒脱豪迈千古诗人，去开启故事尘封的历史……

可惜我忽略了脚下的长河，我忽略了通向方向尽头的道路。实现梦想需要脚踏实地，一步步去实现的。而我，却只是抬眼向前望。望见了美好的方向，却忽略了脚下的路。好像梦里望见了洁白的梨花林，却忘了周身环绕着的长河。我们班主任常说：“一口吃不成一个胖子，胖子却是一口一口吃出来的。”

如今幡然醒悟。

人生的方向，因人而异，各有不同。找准方向，是让我们根据自己的实际情况，确立一个合理的目标，而不是不切实际的空想，找准方向;我们才能在生命的征程中沿着轨迹稳步向前行;找准方向，我们才能用一生的力量，实现最大的梦想。

但我们明知道生命彼岸就在此处，却找不到任何一条可以泅渡的航线。

梦想，如果不从脚下开始，也许一生都无法触碰。

所以，当有一日找到了那条航线，让我们泅渡生命的长河时，那片白胜雪的梨花林，幽香无尽。

There are many excellent stars in various fields at home and abroad, for example Zhou Xun in film industry, Mo Yan in literature, and Bolt in the sports circles. My favorite star is Zhou Xun, who is an outstanding actress. Zhou Xun watched movies since she was a little girl. Her father worked in a cinema, which offered her golden opportunity to access to movie. Maybe her talented performance was developed since then. Over the two decades Zhou Xun performs in TV or movies, her acting is mature day after day, bringing her lots of awards. Now she has become one of the iconic actresses in China. Besides, she advocates herself in philanthropy and environmental protection. Zhou Xun calls on everyone to live a low-carbon life to keep a green and beautiful planet. I like her because of her excellent performing as well as her personality.
