our country has a large area of forest. however,not until recently did the goverment begin to realize the importance of protecting the forest. as we may know from various sources,the government recently adopted a policy called "restore the farmland to the forest"。this has brought much hope to the forest of our country as well as the sustainable development of our country.

My family has four members.My mother is a housewife.She looked after my family carefully.My father is a self-employed laborer.He works very hard for the whole family.My sister and I are both primary school students .Our family live very happily together.

My father is very tall. He has two bright eyes. He looks very young. He is fourty-nine years old.

在这个寒冷的星期，英语节在同学们的期盼下如期而至。

这周一，我们举行了盛大的开幕式，主要内容有教低年级的小朋友学英语、看英语话剧和学唱英语歌曲等等。

教二（1）班的一个同学学英语，我认为这个环节最有意义。教二（1）班的小朋友学英语不是一件容易的事。我们排着整齐的队伍来到操场上，学校的两个英语老师主持这次英语节的开幕式。接着，老师宣布：“开始教小朋友学英语。”我们就兴致勃勃地走向对面的那个小朋友。我教她的英语是“He’stallandstrong。”首先我给她读了一遍英文，并耐心地告诉她中文是：“他又高又壮。”我的话音刚落，小朋友就有模有样地学了起来，听上去讲得还不错。不一会儿，老师定的五分钟到了，在这五分钟内，我很认真地教她，她也很努力地学。我让她把自己的名字写在横线上。

英语节不仅让我学到了知识，还让我认识了一个新朋友。英语节在我们的欢声笑语中圆满结束了。
