Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Today, my family go to the zoo. We go there by car, and we arrive there at

around 3 p.m. I see many kinds of animals in the zoo, like dog, elephant, rabbit

and giraffe. They are so cute. I watch them for a long time. At around 6 p.m, we

go back home. This trip is interesting.

今天，我们一家去了动物园。我们坐小汽车去的，下午3点左右到达了那里。在动物园里我看到了好多种动物，比如小狗，大象，兔子还有长颈鹿。它们很可爱。我观察它们很长时间。在下午6点左右，我们回到了家。这次旅行真有趣。

California is west of the United States and is divided into San Francisco and Los Angeles. As soon as we get there, we can see many advanced equipment and spacious roads, so that we can know that the United States is a vast country.

In the mountains of California, huge waterfalls can be seen. Squirrels are running on trees. Apart from the mountains and green mountains, there are also Disneyland and universal studios in the city. Disneyland has a household name, Mickey Mouse, and many childrens favorite cartoon characters, with scary haunted houses, crazy roller coasters... And so on.

Now, though, the California have developed many forests, but also some forests have been preserved, let the squirrel can run in the trees, the fish can swim in the water, swimming birds in the sky fly, let the animals keep beautiful homes.

This trip to America let me know the importance of nature to us, so we should love this beautiful home.

This summer vacation I got a part-time job in a snack bar。 At the beginning， I couldn＇t do well at all and often made mistakes。 I was very low-spirited， but father and mother encouraged me a lot。 So I began to try my best。 Gradually， I could do a very good job。 I felt very excited when I received my pay for the first time。 I already made up my mind to find another part-time job in this winter vacation。 I believe I can do better next time。

这个暑假我在一家快餐店打工。起初，我也不在所有和常犯错误。我非常低沉，但爸爸妈妈给我很大鼓励。所以我尽力做到最好。渐渐地，我可以做得很好。我感到非常兴奋，当我收到支付的第一次。我已经作出了我的心，在这个寒假里找一个兼职的工作。我相信我下次能做的更好。
