daily life, especially reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. It is well-known

that the air pollution is more and more serious. So we should do something to

protect our earth.

Firstly,we should take more bus instead of driving cars. As people’s living

standard has improved, there are more and more people driving private cars. This

phenomenon is one of the causes for air pollution. Because its gas will produce

lots of carbon dioxide, which may enventually lead to air pollution. Secondly,

when we leave our house or classroom, we would better turn of the lights, fans

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is themost important thing. After running I have to do morning exercises on theplayground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast, I need to have morningreading. 而我想，房子有时候不必太奢华，那就只是在乡下，有一个土木结构的砖房，有一个大大的院子。房子要有一个恰好的客厅，什么古玩字画未必全要，如果恰好身边的朋友中有写字画画的，那么受赠的几幅可以挂在厅堂，或者是书房。必须要有一间自己的书房，书籍不少，而都是自己喜欢读的书目，中国外国的都有，古代近代的也都有，闲暇的时候可以随手翻阅，顺便泡上一杯茶。自然，对于茶的要求也可以不要太讲究，就是乡间生产的那种绿茶即可，天然的绿色的，喝着能感受到一种舒适便好了。在每一个黄昏或者清晨，都可以在自己的屋子里悠闲地看着书。

在乡下可以不用手机，家里装一部电话就行了，以备不时这需。必须要买一台够用的电脑，而且要连上网线，以备查查资料，即时掌握一下国家的大事，顺便看看新闻，了解各个时间段内的动向。家里不需要摆麻将桌，也就可以不要用电视，可以不用空调，不用暖气，不要保险柜，乡下不用空调与暖气已经很正常了，而不要保险柜是说没有什么值钱的家当。简单地生活，不能把自己看得太重要，没有谁会时时刻刻都要想着找你，我们都没有那么重要。而真心想找你的人，可以来乡下的屋里，找你聊聊天，说说家常，见个面，吃个简单的饭，有新鲜的蔬菜，有刚从鱼塘里捞出来的鱼，能自己种出来的大米，就好了。

院子可以很大，种一些小树，这些树都不要名贵的树种，是那种种下去就可以自然生长的，不用去管也能茂盛生长的那种。院子里要有很大的一块平地，其它的角落可以有一些花花草草，自然，这些花花草草都是很好伺候的。院子里也不需要养鸟，养宠物什么的，甚至连狗和猫都不要。如果一定要听听乡下的自然之音，那么在夜深人静的时候听着乡间的虫鸣，或者狗吠，未必不是一件坏事。

在乡间能有几亩地，一些用来种水稻，一些用来种蔬菜，在每一个需要劳作的时候，也能够体会到劳作的快乐，如陶渊明诗里的那样，带月荷锄归，相见语依依，采菊东蓠下，悠然见南山。不一定非得要劳作的非常辛苦，一切都按照自己的兴趣和取舍来做，并不是一味地追求产量，只是体会那种劳作的快乐之时，还能够顺便在地里有一点收获。

理想的生活里要有一些朋友，这些朋友不一定要什么学历毕业，但至少有一定的学识和经历，甚至还有一些是自己不知道的领域，能够给我一定精神营养的人。最好都要比我年纪大一些，年纪更大说明阅历更多，给我讲一些故事的时候，就比较真实，而且大部分是他们所经历，或者是看到的真实。乡野村夫未必就不一定见多识广，人生是一种经历，而知识里边本身就包涵了经历，不一定全部都非得是书本上学来的东西。

People always say that we are lacking of the eyes of realizing the beauty in life. I can’t agree with it anymore. Last week, I woke up very early in the morning, so I decided to take a walk. The street was very quiet and there were many old people dancing in the square. Without many cars, I realized the city looked so clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorates so well, which attrated my eyes. The city was coverd by the green trees, which made it a green city. I liked this feeling so much. My name is Lily， a Grade eight student。 I like my school life very much because it’s really enjoyable。 In school， I spent the time with my lovely classmates and teachers。 They all help me a lot with my study and life。

I have six courses each day from Monday to Friday and forty minutes each。 The courses I learn in school are Chinese， mathematics， English， geography， sports and so on。 I like Englishmost because it’s very interesting and my teacher is so lovely and kind。 In one word， my school life makes me happy and I learn a lot in school。

Nowadays, with the development of technology, many young people stay

indoors and play computer all the time. Especially for those who stay up very

late or go out to play for fun until midnight, then they wake up at noon the

next day. This is the unhealthy lifestyle, and they need to make some

changes.

First, having regular break time and enough sleep is the basic way to keep

healthy. Some young people hang out for fun after work. They need to release

their pressure and have fun with their friends. They go home very late and then

next day get up, preparing to work. In the long run, they not only have low

efficiency, but also damage their bodies.

Second, keep the balanced diet. Most people are picky about food. They only

choose the food they like and lose the balance of nutrition. For most kids, they

like to have meat and refuse of the vegetables and fruit. It is not good for the

growth of their bodies.

The healthy lifestyle helps people live the harmonious life. Besides having

enough sleep and keeping balance diet, taking exercise is also in need.

We will never forget our freshman year at college. In general it is a time filled with anticipation, some anxiety, and wonderful discoveries.

College is much different than high school. You may decide to commute from your home to a local campus. Without doubt, the most dramatic freshman year is for those living away from home. What can we expect as we head off into the wonderful world of higher education?

The first thing I notice is the workload. It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before. The major challenges of college work are large volume of reading, short deadlines, and “endless” writing. A related effect that can be brought on by the workload is doubt, frustration, and loneliness if possible.

On some of those long, seemingly endless nights of studying and writing, it will be very natural for me to long for fine old days. Hang in there. These down periods will pass.

I have made a lot of new friends. I am sure college friendships will be among the most satisfying and long-term in my life. Its always exciting to discover how wonderfully diverse college relationships can be.

I am enjoying my newfound freedom. Stay up until dawn talking about my ideals and ambitions with my dorms regular bull session buddies. Sleep in until the afternoon on a light class day. Explore the local town or suburbs with one or two of my new friends.

I even start to think about my future. Going to college is as much about finding out who am I as it is about getting the degree.
