Nowadays,more and more people feel like emigrating to foreign countries,such as America, England and Canada. There are many reasons accounting for this phenomenon.And peopie have diffrent opinions to these emigrants.

Some people think migrate to some foreign countries with a view to making their children receive good education there.Others just want to experience a different culture they like.Although it may be exciting to drop their family in a totally unfamiliar place.They desire to meet new things ,new people,and new worlds.All in all,the most important things is they must have enough money and time.All these above factors contribute to their choice to migrate to another country. As far as I am concerned,I prefer to live in my country for long rather than migrate to other foreign countries. For one thing, I don’t like to live far from my friends and relatives. For another, I can’t bear to speak and listen to a foreign language from day to night. In a word, everyone has his right to decide where to live, and everyone’s choice should be respected.

有人说，理想就是有钱、有权、有地位，住好房、开好车、享受生活。我不得不说，这是庸俗的。追求理想难道只是为了钱吗?过着行尸走肉般的生活，什么事也不去做，这不是理想。理想更多的是在追求自己的梦想的同时，也为人类做出更多的奉献。如果你不能成为一颗大树，那么你也可以做一颗路边的小草，但你要做路边最富生命力的小草;如果你不能做一条大河，那么你就做一条小溪，但你要做一条最清澈明亮的小溪，不论你的理想再渺小，不论你做了些什么，只要你尽力地做到最好，也是一种对理想的追求，同样也可以诠释生命的价值!

理想不是梦，它需要我们去付诸于行动，所以实现理想总会有各种困难与挫折，会给我们带来痛苦与失望。但是，我们就不去追求理想了吗?司马迁为了写出《史记》这部巨作，他不辞辛苦地爬山涉水，走访四处，了解史实;李时珍冒着生命危险，住着悬崖边的草屋采摘植物，《本草纲目》就是这样得来的。因此，为了追求理想，即使有黑暗的世界，我们点点摸索;有崎岖的路，我们跌倒了又站起来;有重重困难，我们条条去解决。

“世界上最快乐的事，莫过于为理想而奋斗。”那种克服了困难的成就感与喜悦感，不经历艰难与挫折，我们怎能感受到呢?

对于理想，我们说了这么多。那么我们作为学生，我们应该如何去追求并实现自己的理想呢?

当然，现在我们还无法像司马迁那样，一下子就写出《史记》，也无法像李时珍那样，随手就写成了《本草纲目》。但要想追求理想，是需要基础知识的，假如我想成为一名化学家，不懂得化学知识怎么能行呢?所以我们首先要做的就是努力学习，丰富自己的知识。第二，还要为自己设定目标，比如：自己今年在全班成绩保持第几名，明年保持第几名……，这样循序渐进，靠近理想。第三，多激励自己，相信自己。追求理想，怕的就是放弃。你如果愿以此为之去努力尝试，我相信你是一定会成功的。

理想点亮人生，让自己的人生过得更充实些吧!理想，不只是执着于坚持，更是对自己生命价值的诠释。“少时不努力，老大徒伤悲。”

In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. At certain times in our lives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school to attend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife. Yes, life is a matter of choice. Seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things. But in essence, it means choosing a way of life. Life is to be lived, savored, and enjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.

Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.

Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me, I choose to be cheerful.
