Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

The greatest consequences of the atmosphere crisis may be global warming and the ozone depletion. If human kind wants to survive well into the next millennium, we must stop this horrible destruction of our own environment.

6. The earth appears to be warming due to the greenhouse effect. Scientists estimate that the average temperature could climb about 2 degrees Celsius in 20 years. This change in the global climate would have disastrous results, including drought, coastal flooding and increased species extinction. And, scientists have discovered a hole in the ozone layer. The ozone layer is the only protection for life on Earth against deadly ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. Once the ozone layer is completely destroyed, all life on Earth will cease to exist, killed by the deadly radiation. The planet will become a barren rock devoid of all life.

每一个人的成绩都是有变化的，我的英语成绩与以前比起来，也有了很大很大的进步。

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people＇s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution?

There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. 这时，时光老人又出现了，他把我带回到现在，语重心长地对我说：“如果人们继续破坏环境，那么几年之后的环境会变得更加糟糕。”我郑重地点了点头，说：“请您放心，我们一定会保护环境，让环境越来越美的。”

金秋送爽，丹桂飘香，在这硕果累累、满载喜悦的季节，我们迎来了国庆63周年，随着祖国的日益强大、科技日新月异，我们的家乡、我们的生活都发生了翻天覆地的变化。

假日里，我和爸爸妈妈去乡下。爸爸驾驶汽车行驶在宽阔的柏油马路上，路两侧长满了参天大树，宛如一个个等待检阅的士兵。马路两侧装上了路灯，晚上既能照明，白天又很美观。“妈妈，外婆家的村口多了一块用红漆写着村名的巨石，真壮观！”我叫嚷着。这时妈妈感慨道：“哎，现在变化真大！妈妈小时候在乡下，都是泥土路，一下雨，泥泞不堪，经常打滑摔跤。晚上四周黑漆漆的，路上几乎看不到人影。现在，村里有了大广场，吃过晚饭，广场上的灯一打开，把周围照得如同白昼，男女老少都在广场上健身、玩乐……”“是啊！”爸爸也随声附和“爸爸小时候住的是平

房，没有空调，夏天经常热得整晚睡不着；那时候我们看的是黑白电视机，只有几个频道，很不清晰，经常出现‘雪花’，而且晚上经常停电；我们吃得是粗茶淡饭，只有过年才能穿新衣。现在呢，是想吃什么就能有什么吃，比萨、肯德基、麦当劳……应有尽有。要是在以前呀，这些东西，连想都不敢想呢。“

我静静地听着，却思绪万千，感触很深。先看看我们家的变化。交通工具从自行车、摩托车、丰田汽车、宝马汽车，一次一次的更新着；住房从小楼房到高层商品房再到现在的别墅，住得是越来越舒适了；家用电器一应俱全，每年都在更新换代。再看我们周围的环境，河水是越来越清澈了，连水底的沙石都能看得一清二楚；天空也越来越蓝了；绿化面积也越来越大了，在花园的绿化带中，撒发出花的芳香，沁人心脾，令人流连忘返；鸟儿在天空中自由自在得飞翔，鱼儿在水中欢快地游着；马路干净整洁、一尘不染，乡下也有了垃圾箱，不像以前，垃圾都是随处的乱扔；高楼大厦如同雨后春笋一般，矗立在我的家乡；商场、超市的商品琳琅满目，应有尽有，方便极了；夜晚，华灯初上，街上人群熙来攘往的，霓虹闪烁，流光溢彩，这夜景真是美极了！家乡的人们更加注重精神生活的追求，跳舞、唱锡剧、打太极等文娱活动如火如荼地展开了；现在经济也富裕了，外出旅游的人也多了，人们在跋山涉水中感受到了祖国的壮丽河山，繁荣昌盛。在我的眼中，我的家乡真是一年一个新面貌！一年一个新景象！

我爱我的家乡！更爱我的祖国！我坚信，再过十年，我的家乡——宜兴，一定会变得更加美好！更加繁荣！

[我家乡的变化初中作文

傍晚，我梦见时光老人把我带到了几年后的家乡。

大街上，人们开的都是太阳能汽车，不会排出废气，排出的居然是新鲜的空气。地上没有一点垃圾，原来人们发明了“清除垃圾机器”啊！所以地上干干净净。“清除垃圾机器人”还有语言功能，比如，你故意向他面前扔一个垃圾，它就会说∶ “请把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里去。”

村里的树木长得很茂密，地上还有一朵朵野花，五颜六色的，美丽极了。还有许多树木，没有一棵树是枯死的，因为，发明家发明了一台叫“清理枯树机器”只要它吸进一棵枯死的树，它就会吐出精美的木材。

我又来到了小河边，河里的水清澈见底，连河里的小鱼都能看见，而且小河很平静，连一点声音都没有，河水碧绿，河底没有杂物，我问一位老渔翁，老渔翁说人们早已发明了“垃圾处理袋了”。“垃圾处理袋”的用处就是，只要河里有垃圾，它就会把垃圾处理掉。

空气一下子变得新鲜了，这就是“转换空气机”的用处，它可以把天空中的废气吸 进去，放出新鲜的空气，不会让我们吸废气，天也变得更蓝了。

妈妈把我从床上叫起来，啊，原来这是一场梦，我好想把梦变成现实。
