Planting Trees植树

It was fine on March 12, 201x. I got up early that day. All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees.

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock. The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees. Then we started digging, planting and watering. We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of time. Among us,Wang Lin, our monitor set a good example for us. Though he was ill, he worked harder. When he finished his task, he went on to help others without even a little rest. He was wet all over after work. "I must learn from him," I said to myself . Looking at the lines of the young trees, we smiled happily, forgetting our tiredness.

Not until I arrived at home after watching the movie ”Peddington Bear” with my family when a feeling of warmth and strength suddenly came to me. It’s about love, it’s about family.

The plot of the movie is really simple, even predictable and a little bit cliche. However, it’s so rare for me to meet such a snug film. Maybe there’s some resonance between the core topic ---- family and myself, or, it’s just relaxing and touching, depending on how you look at it.

The film has little input and obvious theme (dream, kindness, tolerance, trust, and love... Americans love that!), and you can even see it as an advertising video made by the U.K. Government! But, things always act like that---- the simpler the emotion is, the easier we forget. The film has it’s meaning to arouse something ignored by us. And treasure everyone, everything you have.

You can either imagine family as a gasoline station, or the safest harbor. Family won’t mind your lose, your excuse, your fault, it will give you a hand, and ask you to have a rest. Family is the most supportive one behind you, forever and always.

照镜子是大多数人的日常习惯，却不知镜子中的影子其实就是另一个我们，他们也有思想。整理服饰，我们看不见自己，可另一个我们自己，却在“镜”中看着我们。“镜”中影子并不是真正的玻璃镜中的人像，而是人内心深处的另一中思想，有时它可以帮助我们迅速决择一件事情，但有时却是令我们犹豫痛苦的。

一个人最大的敌人是自己，因为总是一个与现实存在的自己相抗的“影子”。面对人生中大大小小的琐事，有时我们选择前进，但是大多情况我们选择了站在原地徘徊甚至是退缩。当你前进，证明你足够勇敢，打败了“镜”中那个胆小怯懦的另一个自己，你便成功地走了一步；若是你徘徊在原地或是后退，然则，另一个本在艰难成长的你便被你的自私、贪婪、胆小给击垮了。因而你的“影子”只能在内心深处为你感慨与痛恨。

人是越战越勇，越挫越勇的。若当们我面临一道难题，有时真的想放弃，但内心的“影子”却拒绝如此，于是本体与“影子”间产生了斗争。因为“镜”中“影子”经历了太多，饱受磨难，也吸取了教训，因而它不畏惧本体的攻击，而是选择大胆反抗。所以我们便重新找回信心，解答所谓的难题。

在人生的十字路口，有人犹豫不决，有人坦然爽快，遵从内心真实想法。既然选择了，便战胜了另一个自己，同时也结束了自己与另一个自己的斗争。选择了便不后悔，若是选择了，“影子”便会和本体团结一致，朝一个方向走。这两种我们自己永远是并存的。你开心，它便开心：你失落，它便催你奋进，要求你积极向上。心“镜”中的“影子”永远如人生导师般为我们人生之路选择方向。

“镜”中的我们，是另一个我们自己，它看似会令人忧愁，其实只是一个假想敌。它长期处于阴冷、黑暗的内心的深处与心“镜”的背面，何来阳光给予它希望。可是这个“影子”却能够打败我们内心浅层的不成熟的思想、行为，这便可以说“一切都好了”。

Trees are an important kind of natural resources. Some of them, such as those fruit trees, can provide us with some food we need in our daily life while others may serve as indispensible raw materials. Our houses, furniture, paper are all produced out of trees.

Trees also play an important role in improving our environment. On the one hand, they can take in carbon dioxide but discharge oxygen for us; on the other hand, they can prevent soil erosion effectively.

The Hero in My Heart

When people say the word "hero", what will you think? Do you have a hero in your heart? Maybe your hero is a famous singer, a movie star or a great-man. Pranks performed on April Fools Day range from the simple, (such as saying, "Your shoes untied, or I accidentally stepped on your glasses!), to the elaborate. Setting a roommates alarm clock back an hour is a common gag. Whatever the prank, the trickster usually ends it by yelling to his victim, "April Fool!"

Practical jokes are a common practice on April Fools Day. Sometimes, elaborate practical jokes are played on friends or relatives that last the entire day. The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fools Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees.

April Fools Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. Its simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!

During May Day holiday, I went to my uncle’s home to meet my new little

bother and he is a baby.

My little bother has got big eyes, a small nose, and a small mouth that

looks like a cherry. But my little bother cant talk, and the only thing he can

do is crying.

下课后，我经常去英语角。在那里我可以通过与外国人或我的同学聊天来练习我的英语口语。现在我可以很好的和外国人交流了。有时候我也可以参加一些社交活动。例如，上周我参加了一个有趣的表演。因为是我第一次表演，所以一开始的时候我觉得有点紧张。但当我出现在舞台上时，我让每一个观众都开心的笑了。在那一刻，我为我自己感到骄傲，因为这是我的第一个收获。

书是人类进步的阶梯。我想，大家应该都读过并且很喜欢一些有趣的书吧，它们也许是童话书、漫画书，也许是科技书……当然，我也有自己最喜欢的一本课外书——《遇见火星女孩》，书中有一篇《影子剪裁师》令我过目难忘。

《影子剪裁师》是《遇见火星女孩》这本书里41篇文章中最美的一篇，文中主要描述了大个子老鼠和小个子猫咪之间深厚的友情，它们还特别能关心别人，也喜欢帮助别人。例如，有一次，小猪的影子在它游泳时丢了，好心肠的大个子老鼠和小个子猫咪就让小猪先裁影子，又让为了去参加比赛做准备而不小心划破影子正难过的小鹿，以及因为身子大而影子却很小而伤心的鳄鱼都排在自己的前面裁影子。最后，它们一直等到美丽的夕阳出现了，才坐上了裁剪影子的椅子上。剪裁师也被他们俩热心帮助别人的精神所打动，虽然剪裁影子的黑布没了，但是剪裁师还是给了他们俩一个惊喜——让他们俩拥有世界上最美丽的花影子。

当我轻轻盖上这本书时，天空中星星已经闪闪发亮，我想到了我们班的李锌暔同学，她聪明好学，乖巧懂事，为人友善，乐于助人。课余时间，只要同学们有困难去找她，她都会尽她最大的努力去关心、帮助别人，有时是帮同学打扫卫生，有时是扶生病的同学去医务室，有时是把伞让给家离得比较远的同学，并且毫无怨言。我觉得她就像大个子老鼠和小个子猫咪一样，帮助了别人，快乐了自己，他这种“赠人玫瑰、手留余香”的行为，是我们学习的好榜样！

是啊，助人为乐是一种美德，不仅我们小小的校园需要它，我们的社会、国家更需要它。《影子剪裁师》这篇美文让我明白了：只要你帮助我，我帮助你，我们生活一定会越来越美好，我们的社会也会越来越和谐。
