Chinese New Year or Spring Festival  the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It  sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by Englh speakers. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; th day  called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Years Eve  known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year  the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year  itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year  a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year  considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (Tt), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year  also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper  a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by whing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition  a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wh peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

点评：你前面的文字写的都不错，以小标题的形式写的有关朋友的几件事情，但是需要注意的是文章的结尾。结尾的一般作用应该是扣题并且进行升华，这样的一个朋友给你的生活带来了什么改变？这样的一个朋友给你带来的温暖到底是什么？或者说这样温暖的感觉给你的感悟应该仔细写一写，具体说一说朋友给你的人生带来的感悟和感触，而不应该只是点到为止。

Dear Christmas father:

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

Talking of examinations,I feel that they are one of the important activities in school life.Since the first day I went to school,I have had to deal with them almost every day.All through my secondary school days,I have gone through al kinds of exams,entrance exams,tests,quizzes and so on. I have tasted the flavour of happiness,sadness and laughter.

Before every exam,there is always a certain time for me to suffer.The world before me seems to be sad and gloomy.I feel that all my books are disgusting.During examinations,I am always like a computer.I try hard to squeeze out every piece of information to answer my questions.A machine has no feelings,but I am nervous,my heart beats hard.

After the swesty battle,the world seems to be bright again.A disaster is over.I become lively again,and begin to discuss every problem with my classmates.

Everyone has a list of destinations they promise themselves to visit during their lifetime. People travel for endless reasons, whether its to experience different cultures, see natural wonders of the world, or learn about heritage. All these ideas are exciting options, because in every situation, you will be exposed to something unfamiliar and life-changing.

I recently had a discussion with someone about my study abroad experience. They listened as I recounted my explorations around Italy and my additional travels. "I would love to do something like that," they said, "but I feel like everyone goes to Europe now. Its not really that unique anymore".

I was pretty shocked by such a statement. Since when was traveling anywhere not cool enough? Naturally, the older you get, youre going to know more people who have traveled to various parts of the world, but does standing underneath the Eiffel Tower have less value to me because so many travelers have done the exact same thing? Or climbing and taking a picture up at the top of the Florence Duomo?

听到这样的话我很震惊，从什么时候开始出去旅行没意思了？当然，随着你年龄的增长，你会认识越多在世界不同地方旅行过的人，但是难道就因为很多人都曾站在埃菲尔铁塔下，所以这样做对我来说就没有意义了吗？或者说爬上圣母百花圣殿照张照片就没意思了？

My answer: absolutely not. Reading travel blogs and staring at photographs is helpful and enjoyable, but nothing close to actually experiencing that place. The truth is, every new destination is unique, and its nearly impossible to make a "wrong" decision.

我的答案是：大错特错。读旅行博客、看照片都很有帮助，也很有乐趣，但跟亲身经历绝对不一样。其实每个新目的地都很独特，选择任何目的地都不会错。

It is important to focus on your own personal journey, not the experience of others. Every city, state, and country, has thousands of different things to offer. The places you will visit all have fascinating people, delicious different kinds of food youve never tried before, and unbelievable history that will blow your mind. Traveling will nevertheless change you and leave an imprint on the way you see the world - no matter where you go.

重点是要关注自己的亲身经历，而不是别人的经历。每个城市、州和国家都有数不胜数的新鲜事物。你要去参观的地方都有有意思的人、你从未品尝过的美味食物和令你痴迷的难以置信的历史。旅行仍然会改变你，在你周游世界之路上留下印记——无论你去哪儿。

Whether the destinations we desire are seemingly simple or seemingly obscure in the eyes of others, every experience has its own unique value. Keep your adventures authentic while also utilizing the opinions and advice of others. In every new destination, you will find a new part of yourself. Truly, no destination is the wrong place to go.

Winter love to do one thing, of course, is one of the "happy camp". Ajit is

my favorite, I think a lot of people like him, some people like the sound of his

voice, some people like his humor, some people like his story, some people like

him... I like him, dont seem to need because of what, and it seems that it was

his everything.
