自由命题作文实际上不是完全自由的，出题的人总得对考生有些限制，才能不让你完全自由自在地用自己的题目写作。所以，为了考场作文的质量，考生自己命题是第一道工序，这种工序是完全利己的，题目一旦完成，就可按照命题作文的思路进行写作。

一般来说，中考自由拟题的思路有：

1、针对中心拟题

有的文题，特别是有的议论文题，为了降低难度，往往将材料的中心点示得十分明晰，遇到这样的题目，可直接针对材料的中心拟定自己的文题。如下面的材料，其中心就是减轻中小学生过重的课业负担问题，可以就自己的观点进行拟题作文：
