梅，是花吗?是，她娇艳的身姿令人开口叫绝!但哪一种花能如此开放在寒冬呢?

梅，是树吗?是，她结识的躯干令人好不佩服!但哪一种树能结出如此的娇花呢?

梅，是草吗?是，她默默的精神令人称颂百年!但哪一种草又能如此高贵不拘呢?

梅非花非木非草。梅是我们中华民族与中国的精神象征，具有强大而普遍的感染力和推动力。梅象征坚韧不拔，象征不屈不挠，象征奋勇当先，象征自强不息!

梅常有绿、红、白三种颜色，真正能体现“不要人夸颜色好，但留清气满乾坤”的是白色的梅花即雪梅。

以梅花来喻读书人的话，绿梅象所谓的知识精英，对权力和金钱也有那种狼的贪婪的目光;红梅象已入官场的读书人，呈现一定的姿态，要让上司赏识，夸自己颜色好;雪梅像真正的读书人，毫不张扬，默默地在知识的土壤上耕作，或做学问，或教书育人，为传承中华文明做自己应做的事情。犹如“凌寒独自开”的“墙角一枝梅”，尽管不被人注意，尽管这些墙角边上杂草丛生，甚至还有肮脏的茅房，仍自吐清香，与世无争!

或许这也是世俗人等最或缺的吧。

Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue.

The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded.We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals.

If we continue to do this,life on earth cannot survive.Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection.

Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air,forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems.

People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems,to use modern methods of birth control,to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products.

We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is

joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I

also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft

music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need

a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite

pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the
