I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as

well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the most

important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.

Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoyment

during the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shopping

with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,

it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. My

parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner

was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I

The hot sun is like our enthusiasm, because no matter how hot the weather is, we still keep on studying English hard.

Today, the chinese teacher taught us some English songs. I like the song which is called ”seasons in the sun” very much. We all lost ourselves in the beautiful voice. Today our theme is youth. After the teacher spoke. I suddenly understand that maybe being young is our advantage, so we must value every minute. We have to do something significant.

In the afternoon, our American teacher is father who is an associate proferssor of English from central college give us a lesson. He told us something about higher education in the USA. I think it will be useful for our future.

communication among people. With the help of the Internet, people can easily contact each other anytime anywhere. However, the side effect is that many people have become over-dependent on the Internet and neglected face-to-face communication.

As far as Im concerned, electronic communication cannot fully replace the direct contact among people. Although it seems to bring everyone together, it actually estranges people and decreases the effectiveness of communication. A typical example is that, traditionally, people working in the same office simply walk to others and talk. Today, however, co-workers tend to send e-mails or instant messages through the Internet even when they are sitting next to each other. Today， I was late for school because the traffic was jam. I usually so to

school by bike but I hurt my leg the day before yesterday. So I had‘to go to

school by taxi this morning. I left home very early. When I took the taxi， I

found the traffic bad. The traffic was so busy that the car couldn’t move at

all. I think the government should get the road wider so that the car can run

easily and smoothly.

What do you think the life in the future will be like?

今天妈妈给我布置了一个“艰巨”的任务，那就是洗澡。我说：“妈妈，我能不光挂冲一冲啊!”“不行。”妈妈说：“今天必须好好的搓搓。”

先把身上弄得湿漉漉的，再抹上搓泥宝。用洗澡巾一搓一搓的，就把脏东西搓掉了。虽然用了搓泥宝，但是脏东西没有完全的没了。

然后我就喊妈妈让她再给我搓一遍，妈妈搓的比我搓的还使劲儿呢!妈妈一边搓，我一边说：“妈妈，轻点，轻点。”妈妈就说：“太轻的话，就搓不出来脏东西。”妈妈说完这话，我就咬着牙忍

着，不一小会儿，妈妈就说：“好了，搓完了，你快点冲一冲。”冲完，我就把身上擦干，再穿上衣服。就洗完了。

洗完澡真的好舒服啊!感觉浑身就轻松多了。

今天是“三八”妇女节，我想给妈妈一个惊喜。我看到厨房里有两棵大白菜，于是，我拿了一个红脸盆，打开水龙头，接了一盆清水。我把白菜的黄叶掰开，扔进垃圾桶里，再把白菜放进脸盆里浸泡，去除菜叶上残留的农药和细沙。

然后把白菜捞上来，把脏水倒掉，再接来一盆清水，一遍又一遍的清洗。直到把白菜洗得干干净净为止。最后拿出切菜板和菜刀把白菜切了一段一段，把切好的白菜放到菜蓝里。看着这水淋淋的白菜，我心想：妈妈一定会竖起大拇指，夸我是个孝敬父母的好孩子。
