六年前，我正式加入了牧爱小学这个大家庭。转眼间，又将要离开这个家庭，因为我快要完成六年的小学阶段的学业了。

这六年来，我在老师的培育下，逐渐成长起来，无论在学业上和品德上，都获得了很大的进步。

回想我初进学校的时候，真是一个调皮无知的小孩子。但现在，我已增长了许多知识，并懂得做人的道理。这完全归功于老师们多年来对我悉心的教导和关怀。

记得读一年级的时候，我经常被年龄大的同学欺负，心里感到很难受、很委屈。老师知道后，便常常安慰我，鼓励我，要我坚强起来。同时，劝我不要和欺负我的同学吵架，要爱人如己。当我明白了这个道理后，便真的没有向他们报复。不久，我们还成了好朋友。

在我读三、四年级的时候，还很少有同学认识我，我也不做主动去结识他们，所以我很孤独。老师似乎看出了我的心事，教我结交朋友应主动点，这样朋友才会多。我也明白了这个道理，于是便主动去找朋友了。

升上六年级以后，我身体很弱，常常生病。有一次，老师发现我没有上学，便打电话到我家。当知道我生病之后，她叫我放心养病。还特意安排同学把当天的功课送来，这真使我非常感动!

这都是我这么多年来，最难忘的事情。对于老师们这种关怀和教导，我是十分感激的。今后我会继续努力，不负老师所望，写出人生更有意义的一页!

Generation gap refers to the misunderstanding between the old and young.

The term came into fashion after the 1980s. However, in recent years, the

phenomenon is getting more and more fierce.

How does generation gap come into being? The first reason is that the two

generations have grown up in different ages, thus they have different attitudes

toward life. Secondly, due to having little in common with each other, they are

unwilling to sit down and talk face to face. Besides, as modern life is so

stressful, both of them are so busy with their study or work that they have not

enough time to exchange their ideas.

To bridge the generation gap is not easy at all, but we can do something to

shorten it. For one thing, children should respect their parents as well as

accept their good advice. For another, parents should not only show their love

and care to the kids, but also support their good life view. As long as the old

and young can understand each other, it would be more harmonious in family and
