小狗洛洛很贴心。有一次我的考试成绩差的一塌糊涂，我回到家之后，心里忐忑不安，既伤心又害怕，伤心自己太马虎，平时不会错的题今天全错了，害怕爸爸妈妈对我失望，没能给弟弟做个好榜样……洛洛看到我这个样子，用舌头舔舔我的手，似乎是想告诉我：没事，你要放宽心，你先看看错在什么地方，再仔细改正，争取下一次不错，爸爸妈妈也会体谅你的。我似乎明白了什么，不再那么伤心，一心一意改正错题，爸爸妈妈下班回家后，我积极向他们承认错误并且改正，爸爸妈妈竟没有骂我，反而是慈祥地点点头，笑着说我长大了……

经过上一次的失败，这一次考试我十分细心，没有一做完考卷就上交，而是仔仔细细检查了几遍，到下课铃响起时我才上交，这一次考试果然不错，我拿着试卷回家，有些飘飘然了，洛洛对我汪汪叫了几声，我仿佛和他心灵相通似的，知道他在提醒我不要骄傲，我对洛洛笑道，知道啦！

小狗洛洛不仅是一只狗，还是我的良师，亦是我的益友，它在我困难的时候陪伴我，骄傲的时候提醒我，我真喜欢它！

小狗住在豪华的狗屋里，他经常看见主人吃美食。可他每年每月每日三餐都只能吃硬邦邦的骨头，他觉得骨头不怎么样。于是他想把骨头悄悄的卖掉，换些钱买好吃的。

然后小狗在早上，趁主人没注意，悄悄溜出了狗屋，把藏在仓库里面的所有骨头拿了出来，放进袋子里，逃出他的家。到了动物市场，小狗把骨头放在袋子边，竖起一块牌子，上面写着“卖骨头”三个字，小狗站在牌子边大声喊：“卖骨头喽，卖骨头”！

一只小猫跑来说：“要是在骨头上涂些鱼酱就好了，”小猫没有买骨头走了。小狗想：“可能在骨头上洒涂些鱼酱，就能卖出去了。”于是小狗在附近的河里捉鱼，剁成鱼酱涂在骨头上。然后小狗又在那一大堆骨头边喊：“卖骨头喽，卖骨头”！

一只小鸟飞来，看了看骨头说：“骨头好是好，就是太大了，要是剁小点就更好了。”小鸟没有买飞走了。小狗想：“可能用刀把骨头剁小块，就能卖出去了。”于是他用石头做成刀片把骨头剁开，等骨头全剁好了，小狗又站在牌子边大喊：“卖骨头喽，卖骨头”。可骨头还是没有卖出去。

小兔跑来说：“骨头上应该洒些糖水；”熊猫跑来说：“这儿下面应该垫片竹叶”；老虎跑来说：“这儿应该粘点肉”；小猴跑来说：“还应该拿个碗来装”；青蛙说……每次听了别人的话，小狗都觉得对，要是那样骨头准能卖出去，于是小狗就按他们的话去做，涂了鱼酱，剁了小块，洒了糖水，垫了竹叶，还在骨头上粘了肉。

“卖骨头喽，卖骨头”有一天小狗又站在牌子边大喊；“好好吃的骨头！有肉、有糖水，你可以用骨头练牙，可以吃肉充饥，这儿还有竹叶垫着……”。小狗说着突然楞住了，他想：“这么好的骨头，自己吃掉多好，为什么还要卖呢”？

从此小狗不再卖骨头了。

Thank you for taking the time to write your wonderful letter in support of

MCEA (Maywood Chinese Education Association). Your letter clearly articulates

all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese

language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable

support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood

public schools.

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the

first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned

that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will

affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest.

Nevertheless, MCEA, with more than 70 members, will continue to actively promote

bilingual Chinese education in the Palo Alto public schools and will keep you

apprised of the progress we make.

T he second day, I visited Beijing city. I went to the WangFujing Ave , I tasted many famous snacksand Beijing Roast Duck, they are very delicious. I also went to the XinDongfang square, it was a very big shopping mall, it took me about half an hour to walk between two doors. I can saw many famous brands: Cucci, Chanel, Rolex, Seiko, even the new Audi cars. It made me really want to stay in Beijing .The third day I visited the Tian’anmen Square, and it’s very beautiful. And the Chang’an Ave is wide ,straight and clean. The forth day, I went to the Forbidden City. It made me felt the emperor ’ s royal mausoleum was very luxury. The fifth day I went to the Summer Palace, I went boating there. The sixth day, I visited the Great Wall, it’s very terrific, this great architectural complex told us how clever the Chinese people are ! T he last day, I visited the Beijing University ----one of the topest universities of China . There are many famous people were graduated t here.

That’s a happy travel. In the future, I want to visit many countries. This is my dream.

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus.It is about thirty miles from the city.We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.

As soon as we got there,we began to climb up the mountains.How great the sight is!We felt as if we had entered amother world full of beauty,peaeefulness and loveliness.There are hundreds of mountains,one after another.there are magnificent cliffs,one above another.We climbed up vigorously and breathed the fresh air greedily.As the sun was going down,we descended to a little hotel at the foot of the hill,where we had a big dinner,and then went to bed early so as to regain the energy ior the expedition next morning.

Before daybreak,we reached the peak of the highest mountain after a hard groping and climbing in the dark.Unaware of the cold wind,we stood motionlessly,with our eyes fixing at the hr end of the east.Suddenly thin ravs of red hue spread across the sky.As the redness deepened,some mysterious clouds moved across thc sky,dividing heaven from the earth.Just at this moment,up from the brightening far east rose the sun.It was so red and yet so tender that we could gaze at it with naked eyes.and a slight applause from us.the amazed spectators,rang through the peak.Up,up it rose,adding to itself strength and glory at every step.It dazzled with vigour,driving away darkness,cold,and misery from the earth,and bring light,warmth,and happiness to men.

We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature.We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

Inrecent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in ournation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over,it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.

Ina word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development.Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering theenvironment.
