在回来的路上又遭到了鲨鱼的袭击，鱼的一大半都被鲨鱼吃了，鱼钩也被打断了，最后，老人用仅有的木棒加上他多年来和鲨鱼搏斗的经验把它们赶走了。

读到这里，我被老人坚强的毅力、乐观的心态和永不放弃的精神深深的震撼了。记得以前，我有一次画画考级，老师说一个小时内必须画完，我想：这怎么可能呢？之前画一幅画都要一个半小时。

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.

I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to eich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”)

What’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation?

Life is ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. Firmly persisting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which is like the beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. In the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramatis personae.

In this era of rapid social and technological change leading to increasing life complexity and psychological displacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. 这个暑假我读完了美国权威作家欧内斯特？海明威写的《老人与海》

《老人与海》讲述的一名孤独的老人出海已有八十四次，但是每一次都是一鱼不获，前四十次还有一位小男孩陪伴，但后来小男孩因父母的劝说不能和老人一起出海打鱼。老人在岸上只能和小男孩说话，在海上却只能自言自语。再第八十五次打鱼时，老人偶然碰到了一只马林鱼，老人虽然独力勇捕了一只十八英长的马林鱼，却无力驱杀争食的“牙利鬼”。他败了，但是带回去的马林残骸，向众渔夫见证了他虏获的战利品并非夸大，而是真正的光荣。故事结束时，老人不甘放弃，仍然和男孩准备在跨海出征。正如“乡愁诗人”余光中先生所说的：“《老人与海》真是一片刚阳﹑壮阔、紧添的杰作。”

似乎不能用“善良”一词来形容一位渔夫，因为渔夫和猎人一样，手上往往沾满了血的铁腥味，他们乘着船，以渔网为镰刀，从而进行生命的首个，但是，有这么一位老渔夫，不一样。

书中的老人在一季未捕到鱼时，选择了独自出到远海，洗完能得到海的眷顾。幸运的，机会来了，这是老人有生以来捕到的最大、最美丽的鱼，然而又不幸的，海永远怜惜着自己孕育的生命，就这样，一条鲨鱼享受了老人不菲的成果，留给了他一副森白的骨架，一段惊险的回忆和一个残酷的现实。

无法想象，这么一个连脖颈上都刻满了年轮的老人，最后如何接受这个事实。他的悲剧不同于其他，或是永别，或是悔恨与撕心裂肺的痛，发生在老人身上的悲剧，是安静的，像海边的夕阳，暗红的金芒碎碎的在浅浅的波浪上跳动，安静的悸动中，夹杂着海水的咸涩，如此无奈的结局，正如辛苦弄好的花瓶，在上色的最后一环上却无意摔破了，散溢出淡淡的无奈。

有人说，老人想着这勇敢、坚强、智慧与执着，而鲨鱼则是贪婪、奸诈与狡猾的代表，其实，我觉得故事中的人物没有这么分明的正负面，老人拥有那些高贵的品质，这是无可厚非的，但是不论过程如何，他最终仍是拖着疲惫的身子，控制着抽筋的左手，忍受着因摩擦而流血的疼痛，回到了那个令人心酸的，只有报纸作为床铺，没有灯的小屋。老人和鲨鱼，即便是那条最后被蚕食了的美丽大鱼，都是为了生存，我们没有指责他们的理由，只是叹息，希望与梦想，就像美丽的，漂浮在海面上的泡沫，锋芒毕露的现实往往让他们石沉海底，而老人的希望，恰在其中罢了。他老了，命运女神走过去时，只会对他不屑地瞟一眼。

燃尽自己最后的能力与激情，追寻自己心中的目标，成败仅仅几海里，可也是这几海里，成为了梦想与现实荣耀的距离，从此以后，老人会被渐渐的淘汰，可能以后只有那永恒的海与海滩仍然记得，这里曾经有一个喜爱翠绿色玳瑁，同情远飞的小军舰鸟，感动于此雄飞与生死相依的老人。

还好还好，老人并不是一无所有，最后，海明威给了老人一个活泼可爱的男孩，虽然孩子仍有些不谙事，但这没关系，他会向老人学习，成为更出色的捕手，在大海上成为充满憧憬与活力的一簇火苗。

the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a GREat part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

My first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

recently, with the increasing busy life of our contemporaries, the loneness of the old ones has been existent as a widespread socail phenomena,which is really worth a plenty of social attention.

there are a couple of principal factors for this issue .most importantly ,it is because the young are so engaged with their work and study that it is difficult for them to find time visiting their old generations .furthermore, the unemployment of old people is another influential ground for their loneness since they may have too much free time and dont know what to do .

since the old generations have made great contribution to the society ,so,they should be respected ,accepted and cared .as for me ,they are at leats two ways to resolve this problem. first ,the old ones can raise pets like dogs or cats to have a accompany ,also, they can have a walk in the park,last, the young should care them and find time together with them as possible .

A simple story, an ordinary man, an ordinary big marlin, in the vast sea happened seemingly ordinary and extraordinary experience.

This book is about a Cuban old fisherman named diego, a man fishing alone, in the 84 days after nothing caught a big marlin. This is the old man never seen nor heard of than his boat two feet longer a big fish. Big fish strength is big, dragging the boat drifted for two days and two nights, the old man has experienced in the past two days and two nights have never suffered tough test, finally put the big shark fin die, tied to the bow. At this time, however, encountered a shark, the old man and the shark dogfight, result the big marlin was shark ate up, old man finally dragged home only a pair of bare fish skeleton.

After reading this novel, I found that the old mans story is not only a symbol of the relationship between human and nature, and a symbol of the whole human spirit indestructible. In reality, though he failed, but in spirit, he is the winner. Here, the old man is not only represents a person, but to represent a force, a kind of spirit, that is to let a person admire perseverance, the spirit of never yielding. I also very admire the novel old fishermans will, he let me know how a man must be strong, cant meet the frustration is losing, that will never be a one thing.

一个简单的故事，一个平凡的老人，一条普通的大马林鱼，在茫茫大海上发生了看似平凡而又不平凡的经历。

这本书讲了古巴的一个名叫桑地亚哥的老渔夫，独自一个人出海打鱼，在一无所获的84天之后钓到了一条无比巨大的马林鱼。这是老人从来没见过也没听说过的比他的船还长两英尺的一条大鱼。鱼大劲也大，拖着小船漂流了整整两天两夜，老人在这两天两夜中经历了从未经受的艰难考验，终于把大鱼刺死，拴在船头。然而这时却遇上了鲨鱼，老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，结果大马林鱼被鲨鱼吃光了，老人最后拖回家的只剩下一副光秃秃的鱼骨架。

读完这篇小说，我发现，老人的故事不仅象征着人与自然的关系，而且象征着整个人类坚不可摧的精神。在现实中，他虽然失败了，但在精神上，他却是胜利者。在这里，老人不仅仅是代表着一个人，而是代表了一股力量，一种精神，那是让人敬佩的坚韧不拔，永不服输的精神。我也十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志,他让我懂得了一个人一定要坚强，不能遇到一点挫折就败退，这样永远也做不成一件事。

在读了一本很厚的书后，我们一定绝得很疲倦。但这本书却能让你精神百倍，它就是著名作家海明威的代表作--《老人与海》。

故事讲了老人圣地亚哥已经八十四天没有钓到鱼了，是渔夫们永远记住的一个奇迹。而他的朋友—男孩马诺林也被他的父母安排到另外一艘渔船上去了。在那艘渔船上，马诺林捕到了很多大鱼，马诺林一家一下子就变得有钱了。第八十五天的时候，马诺林给了圣地亚哥四条新鲜的沙丁鱼，并祝圣地亚哥能捕到大鱼，这次圣地亚哥决定去最深的海域，结束这八十四天的霉运。很快，他就到了被渔夫成为“大井”的那片海域，这里的水有一千米深，是天然的，丰富的鱼饵“大井”。圣地亚哥的船仍在前行，因为这片“大井”并不是他的目标。终于，一天大鱼上钩了，这是一条大马林鱼，而且这条鱼非常聪明，它一直牵着小船走。但圣地亚哥凭借着他的捕鱼经验和大鱼殊死搏斗，终于把大鱼钓了上来。

“一个人可以被消灭，但不能被打败”这句话鼓舞着圣地亚哥，鼓舞着所有人！也鼓舞了我自己。

我第一次知道老人与海这个故事是我在初中时，历史老师课上给我们看的，但是那次是通过电脑下载电影来看的。电影中我看到了一位不服输不放弃不相信命运的老渔夫。

故事中主要是在围绕着老人，大马哈鱼以及大海中潜在的一系列危险。我看的这部电影是由《老人与海》这本书中的故事情节拍摄的，而这本书的作者，海鸣威，他以其独特的写作手法和写作思维，给读者展现的并不是传统结局(老人胜利而归)，而是老人空手而归，这种结局给读者更加大的思考，这样，读者就会更加会注意到主人公的过程而不是结果。我想海鸣威他这样写的目的也就在于此。

老人与海的真正协作目的不是为了告诉我们读者这样一个故事，而是告诉我们有这样一种精神是值得我们每一人去学习的：锲而不舍，努力拼搏，不畏风险，改变命运。

我是在保送(2)班班主任的提示下，才到网上寻找这本书来读的，这几天读了之后，在文字和人物精神上有了更多的认识，我不说是重新的认识，因为电影已经通过强悍的视觉，听觉两大方面为我们生动形象地展现了故事的大概面貌，这很大程度上满足了读者时间上的允许范围，但是由于电影并不是原汁原味的，而是被导演先咀嚼过，再送到我们嘴边的精神食粮，不是吗?读书比看电影更能真实地完整地接近作者的内心世界。作者的内心世界即使细微，哪怕藏匿得很好，也会在其笔尖在不经意间流露在文字深处，也许这就是文学创作的真正魅力。

我从《老人与海》这本书中看到的是作者更多的对老人的心理活动和语言表情的细微描写。这是我从看点验的过程中难以捕捉到的，因为电影放映的时间短暂，而对于书，如果你拥有它并渴望拥有它，那么它就会成为你忠诚的奴仆，他会等待这你去读它，它可以等你一天，一月，一年，知道你死或直到你不需要它，书它会等待你任何时候读它的任何部分，不是吗?

我再联系起了我不久前在胜利剧院观看的北京大学曹文轩教授的讲座，我想起了他所说到的文章的魂，想到了他所说到的文学的未来发展趋势，我突然想到了一本书的存在意义，书的存在实不过为了表达作者的某些观点，想法，心情，或记录某些相对重要的内容，或其他。但是书终将成为人们要看的载体，如果书对人是无用的不如不要书。

海是蓝色的，它可以平静如镜，也可以掀起狂潮巨浪，让生活在海里的勇士与他一比高下。精神是无形的，它可潜藏在人的内心世界里一动不动，也可以一触即发，用他那难以形容的威力与恶势力作斗争。

一位老人，一片大海，就算是一个正值壮年的男子，在大海的面前都是显得那么微不足道。何况是一位老人。然而，他却战胜了这一片汪 洋，有谁能够像一位老人那样与大鱼作战?是什么，促使老人与之战斗?是精神!顽强不屈的精神!“可以消灭一个人，就是打不垮他”，这是《老人与海》里给我印象最深的一句话，老人精疲力竭地回到岸上，为了得到一条鱼，丢掉了渔网鱼叉，受了伤，甚至都快丢了命

，看起来他好像输了，可是同时他也赢了，因为精神是唯一无法战胜的!“可以消灭一个人，就是打不垮他”，这句话之所以会给我留下如此深刻的印象，是因为我想起了无数我听到的看到的真实故事。

在美国的一位中国留学生饱受了房东在肉体，精神上非人的折磨，为替自己讨回公道，他在十年内上告无数次，最终以百折不挠的精神打赢了这场官司。我记得最后这名女留学生只要求房东诚恳的对她说一句“对不起”，他当着所有法官的面，将那张给予经济赔偿的支票撕得粉碎。当时我感动的流下了眼泪，十年的努力，只为寻求正义，我还记得那篇报道的名字叫《尊严》，这验道不正是这种精神的体现吗?

另一个故事是说一名美国战士在被枪决之前向众人竖起了两个手指，展示在人眼前的是代表单词胜利的首字母V，那是美国人民表示胜利的方式，他以此来表达自己无法用声音来表达的内心，刽子手见状，残酷地砍下了他的手指，然而意想不到的是，这名美国战士又举起了自己的双臂，那是一个巨大的V字，仿佛在空中不断地延伸，延伸，再延伸——这是怎样的震撼啊!即使一无所获，仍旧坚持不懈，为自己的目标奋斗，这不正是《老人与海》给我们的启示吗?一个人一旦拥有了这样的精神，他就是这个世界上最勇敢的人，不可战胜的人，是的，可以消灭一个人，但就是打不垮他!或许那些所谓的胜利者会赢得某些人的掌声，其实在他们内心深处，有个声音在说，你的胜利是所有胜利中最可悲的一种。为什么刽子手要砍下这个美国战士的手指呢?为什么在刑场上，我们的战士永远昂首挺胸，而敌人却不敢正视他们的眼睛，因为人类不可磨灭的是精神，无法战胜的是正义。

臧克家有句名言，“有的人死了，他还活着”我们应该歌颂古今中外所有拥有这样精神的人，“因为消灭一个人，就是打不垮他!

今年寒假，我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说《老人与海》。我十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志，他让我懂得了一个人一定要有坚持不懈的精神，才能获得成功。

这本书描述了一个年近六旬的老渔翁在一次单身出海时，钓到了一条大鱼，他与这条大鱼周旋了几天，后来又因大鱼伤口上的鱼腥味引来了几群鲨鱼抢食，但老人仍不愿就这样放弃，最终突出重围，将大鱼带回了渔港。

老渔翁的精神深深的打动了我，其实仔细留心，我们身边不乏这样的例子。记得有一次数学老师布置了一道难题，起初我也是很困惑，做了一个小时一点头绪也没有，想就这样放弃，于是拿起篮球畅快一番。妈妈知道后教育我，其实当时我还是有点不服气，心里想：不会做的勉强做不是浪费时间吗？再说了，老师又不是不讲，到时候不就知道了吗？虽然答应了妈妈继续做，可是我心里还是不舒服。读了《老人与海》后我才体会妈妈的良苦用心，其实她并不是针对我或是针对这道题，而是培养我的一种毅力，做什么事情都要坚持不懈。现在还小，但是今后碰到的困难决不仅仅是一道难题。无论怎么样，只要有坚持奋斗之魄，总会有成功之我。

我现在五年级，但是老渔翁的精神将陪伴我一身，终身受益。

这个渔夫叫桑提亚哥，捕鱼前八四十天都没有捕到鱼，第八十五天的时候，他架着自己的小船，去捕鱼了，功夫不负有心人，他终于钓到了一条鱼。但是这条鱼的力气特别大，把小船都带动了起来，就这样，一次智力和耐力的战斗开始了！

经过很久很久，虽然他带回的只是大鱼的骨架，但是已经足够让人吃惊。

一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你可以尽力消灭他，但就是打不垮她。这句话引出了主题，是啊，我很同情他，但是我更敬佩他。同时呢，我还要学习他的乐观，还有他的坚持不懈，相信也许有时有些事只要你等一等，结果也许没有你想的那么糟。

读了这本书以后，我学会了很多很多，我相信大家也会学到很多，我希望以后能跟大家一起分享。
