Well， I think that though Holden used to seeing the reality of Bourgeois society， and he must promise with realistic society in the end， he also have many courage to have a try to rebel against the hypocritical world. This spirit should be set up if we want to improve the process of the world.

Now， we live in a country， which is in great reformation， and everything in the process of changing development. Well， with the development of our country; peoples thought also is in the change. 这本书主要描写了古巴的一位老渔夫圣地亚哥，在大海上连续捕鱼八十四天，一无所获，终于在第八十五天，捕到了一条大马林鱼。

这本书的主人公是老鱼夫圣地亚哥。我十分佩服他!前八十四天，他在海面上整整漂泊了两个多月，一条鱼都没有捕到，但是他并不放弃，一点都不灰心，还是坚持了下去。如果是我，别说八十四天，就是十四天，我都坚持不下去。这本书最打动我的——那就是老渔夫圣地亚哥的坚持不懈的精神。等到第八十五天时，皇天不负有心人，他终于捕到了一条大马林鱼，由于鱼太大，要好几天才能杀死它，这几天，大马林鱼妄图逃走，老渔夫便拼命勒紧住绳子，甚至手抽筋，又麻又痛，手被磨破，血肉模糊，但他决不放弃，一直坚持了下去!

在这个寒假里我看了《老人与海》。书中主要讲了老人在连续84天没捕到鱼的情况下，在第85天的时候发现了一条大马哈鱼，开始了长达3天3夜的追捕，最后大鱼被他杀死，而在归程中老人又遭到鲨鱼的袭击，最后回港时老人只剩鱼头鱼尾和一条脊骨……

这本书给我最大的启示就是不要害怕失败和困难。

在书中，老人是多么坚强，不害怕失败，不害怕困难，因此厄运并没有把老人打倒，老人却把命运踩在了脚下，成为了生活中的强者。

在电影里，我也看到过类似的场景。在《一条狗的使命》中。小狗贝利为了找回自己的主人伊森，历经了一次一次的失败和困难重生了四次，最后终于找到伊森。小狗贝利的这种精神不是与老人一样么？

在现实生活中，碰到困难是难免的，可我们要正视困难，用坚持不懈的精神去打败它，如果失败了，就要从失败中吸取教训……再想想自己，每当碰到一点点困难就想退缩，想放弃。当我每次考试没考好时，我就会不敢正视，于是对下次考试也失去了信心，从而一次又一次的失落。仿佛进入了一个恶性循环。但读了《老人与海》后，我知道了人生没有不失败的，每个人都会历经失败，而我们要做的是在失败过后重新站起来，勇敢的去面对，去寻找失败的原因，总结经验，并战胜它。

从小学开始，我便喜欢看驰名世界的美国作家海明威的作品。在他的作品中，使我最为震撼的非《老人与海》莫属了。

《老人与海》的故事十分简单：老人圣地亚歌在连续84天没有捕到一条鱼，但他毫不放弃，第85天他再次出海，几经辛苦终于捕到了一条比他的渔船还大很多的马林鱼，可是在折返渔港的途中，却不断被凶残的鲨鱼袭击。已疲惫不堪的老人又顽强地与鲨鱼搏斗……当他回到海港时，那硕大的马林鱼已仅剩一副空空的骨架！

故事的结局是哀伤的，那是一个在失败和挫折面前绝不低头、不气馁、坚韧不拔的老人，在付出了极大的精力、心血之后，却不能品偿到成功的喜悦的悲伤结局，但我并不觉得老人有任何的悲伤。

老人在捕获马林鱼，与鲨鱼搏斗的时候，虽然不断祈求上帝保佑自己，但那只是求得心灵的慰藉而己。他从没有放弃过一点希望，从没有放弃过一次机会，没有半句怨言，心中只朝着那一个坚定不移的目标奋不顾身地奔去。即使他最后的结局是失败的，但他在这一搏斗的过程，却得到了无数的别人梦寐以求的果实——智慧、经验、力量、勇气……

可以说，老人最终是失败了，但在这一过程中，他获得的比失去的更多。

所以呀，因为考不上大学就轻生的学生们、因为生意失败而自暴自弃的商人们、因为找不到工作而灰心丧意而自甘落后的都市人们，你们的轻生、你们的自暴自弃、你们的灰心丧意、你们的自甘落后实在是太没价值了！

你们为何不细心想想，为了达到你心目中的某一理想或目标，你们拼搏进取，你们努力奋斗，那是多么的意气风发啊！在你们追求的过程中，你们付出了多少的时间、汗水与精力，要解决多少的难题，要运用多少的智慧！那么，试问，你们又何曾失败过呢？你们已经赢得了过程，那比成功还要辉煌的过程！

人们啊，不要过于执着结果了！结果只是稍逊即逝的鲜花而已，过程才是真真实实的果实呀！让我们和《老人与海》中的老人一样，不论结果怎样，让我们为过程而拼搏，为过程而努力，为过程而奋斗吧！

第一次开始读《老人与海》总是迫切的想要快速读到老人出海的部分，等到老人出海了又迫切想要读到老人能钓到大鱼，终于大鱼上钩了，却没那么轻易抓到，甚至拉着老人的船的海上漂了两天两夜。书中有很多对于大海、海鱼、日出、夜空的描写，却都让人无心欣赏。因为老人受伤了，手掌破了，左手抽筋了，肩膀也磨坏了，缺少食物和水。老人年龄那么大了，他和那条大鱼的周旋还在持续，他很冷静，他对自己也很有信心，但他确实年龄大了，即便年轻的时候身强力壮。他一次又一次的说着：“要是那孩子在就好了。”他是孤单的，他是需要帮助的。但最后他还是只能依靠自己。心中有些酸涩，我不止一次在想，放弃吧，回去吧，别冒险了。周旋还在继续，大鱼似乎也很冷静，一直拉着老人的船前行着。看到这儿的时候，我努力的控制着自己想要立刻翻到书后面看看老人有没有将大鱼带回去的冲动，因为不忍看到老人那么辛苦又不想错过中间部分的精彩。

终于在老人与大鱼的博弈中，老人取得了胜利，他杀死了大鱼，并将它绑在了船边。可以返航了，老人终于可以休息一下了，他太累了，没有足够的食物和水，他只能吃生鱼肉保存体力。有几次差点晕倒，好在他都挺过来了，现在他终于可以休息了。然而老人并没有放松，因为随之后来的鲨鱼才是最终的考验。看着老人丢了鱼枪、弄断了刀、打断了舵柄、杀了鲨鱼也打跑了一些鲨鱼，最后却只带回了一个巨大的鱼头和没有一丝鱼肉的骨架以及漂亮的鱼尾巴。那条大鱼是那么漂亮，它是老人的朋友，也是老人的战利品。看着插图光秃秃的鱼骨架，鼻子酸酸的。是惋惜吗？老人费了那么大的力气才战胜的大鱼，本来能够让他衣食无忧好一阵子了。是难过吗？老人为此身体受了重创，他嘴里奇怪的，有着甜腥味的东西，他胸中有什么碎掉的感觉，都在说明着他的身体不太好。然而他依然在和男孩计划着下次出海要准备的东西。

我开始以为故事的结局会是美好的，至少会给老人留下一点鱼肉，哪怕一点也好。至少让这个坚持到最后，哪怕弄得遍体鳞伤也没有放弃的老人有一点收获吧。不过还好，还有男孩在，会给老人准备咖啡，会帮老人处理伤口，会因为老人流泪，会告诉老人，下一次他会陪着老人一起出海。故事的最后老人在睡觉，梦里依然有非洲的狮子。就让他好好休息吧，他太累了。

结局有点残忍，但我喜欢这样的结局，它是那么的真实，虽然让人很难过。之前听到过一句话：“想法是美好的，现实是残酷的，但希望是不可磨灭的”。我们不知道结局是什么的时候，需要努力，需要拼搏。即便知道了结局可能会是什么，我们依然需要努力，需要拼搏，至少我们不能让结局变得更糟。

虽然最后老人好像失败了，他没有钓到鱼，即便钓到了也只剩下鱼骨架。但男孩的眼泪，人们围着鱼骨测量着它的尺寸的描写却让我内心充满了波澜。他是英雄，心里有个声音说道。是的，他是英雄！

Charles Darney

Jarvis Lorry

An elderly manager at Tellsons Bank and a dear friend of Dr. Manette. He is very loyal to Dr. Manette. He accompanies them all the time without considering his own life.

Couple Defarge

They’re the leader of the revolution. Ernest Defarge, to some extent, is a good man. He was the servant of Dr.Manette, he provides accommodation for him. But his wife, Madame Defarge, is really a wicked woman. She knits all the time, she wants to kill all the people who lead a richer or happier life just out of envying and revenge. The result turns out to be dramatic: she’s killed by herself as a consequence that the gun goes off by accident.

But his warning is addressed not to the British lower classes, but to the aristocracy. He repeatedly uses the metaphor of sowing and reaping; if the aristocracy continues to plant the seeds of a revolution through behaving unjustly, they can be certain of harvesting that revolution in time. The lower classes do not have any agency in this metaphor: they simply react to the behavior of the aristocracy. In this sense it can be said that while Dickens sympathizes with the poor, he identifies with the rich: they are the books audience, its "us" rather than its "them". Crush humanity out of shape once more, under similar hammers, and it will twist itself into the same tortured forms. Sow the same seed of rapacious license and oppression over again and it will surely yield the same fruit according to its kind.

当我再次捧起，再次回味书中的种种情节，内心的感觉也再次升华。仿佛这种种困难也为难我一样，对老人的理解更加深入了。老人在面对困难时所表现出的坚毅，都让我为之动容。而在现实中，一些人却不能坚持，面对挫折就选择了放弃，选择了逃避。我们可能会因为考试的失利，而对自己失去信心。或者因为别人的批评，而自暴自弃。在那时候，想想这个坚强的老渔夫，他是如何面对生活的。而我们现在只是面临一些学习上、生活上的挫折，与老渔夫相比，真的只是小巫见大巫。

就像这本书里说的那样——“一个人并不是生来要被打败的，你尽可以把他消灭掉，但永远不会打败他”。

我们要学着强悍，人性是强悍的，人类本身有自己的限度，但正是因为有了老渔夫这样的人一次又一次地向限度挑战，超越它们，这个限度才一次次扩大，一次次把更大的挑战摆在了人类面前。在这个意义上，老渔夫桑地亚哥这样的英雄，不管他们挑战限度是成功还是失败，都是值得我们永远敬重的。

最近我读了《老人与海》，书中的老人让我非常感动和佩服。他是个渔夫，孑然一身，驾着小船。在墨西哥湾流中钓鱼，连续84天一无所获。我们可以想象一下，84天没捕到鱼是个多么大压力！

但书中的主角桑地亚哥却不这么觉得，希望和信心从未在他的心中消失过，因为他还记得，曾经他有八十七天没有捕到大鱼，但接下来的三个礼拜却天天捕到大鱼。

八十五是个吉利数字。那天凌晨时分，月亮还没有消失，老人出海了！他的信心焕然一新，如同乍起的微风。老人终于在第85次捕到了一条大鱼，但这条鱼实在太大了，把他的小船在海上拖了三天才筋疲力尽，他杀死绑在小船的边上，但在归程中又碰到鲨鱼的袭击，于是，老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，最后回来时只剩下鱼头鱼尾和一条脊骨。这些可能在一些人眼里他一文不值，但在老人眼里却是巨大的收获。

是什么力量让老人坚持下来？当我读到作者海明威在书中的一句名言：“一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你可以很被毁灭，却不能打败。”我豁然明白，老人就是靠着这种顽强和勇敢的意志，挑战一次又一次危险，征服了大鱼，战胜了鲨鱼。

回想自己，经常碰到一点点困难就不耐烦，经常因考试成绩不好而失落，对自己没有信心，这些和经受了那么多打击的老渔夫相比，是多么不值一提。

“世界无难事，只怕有心人。”我们要像书中的老渔夫一样，心中有颗信念的种子，勇敢迎接挑战，努力不放弃。
