The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

I am convinced that few books are as good as this one. To be honest, I hadn’t maintained that this book would appeal me before I read it. However, I was absorbed in the book from the first chapter to the last one. Why this book has appealed to me that much? I asked myself. This book is not my type of reading for only romantic books could draw my attention successfully. Then I came into a conclusion that it is the friendship and familyship fascinated me.

To the world you are one person, but to the person who loves you, you are the world. Amir was Hassan’s world. Amir’s name had been the first word Hassan spoke. Hassan threatened brutal Assef for the sake of Amir. Hassan never failed to run the kite to please Amir. Hassan sacrificed himself for Amir’s house. These are more than a friend would do. Only those who loves you so much could challenge himself to do what Hassan did to Amir.To Hassan, Amir was not only a mere friend but a brother. He loved Amir more than anything else. For what he had done to Hassan, he had led a live with regret and suffered endless sleepless nights. His going back to Afghanistan is not only a journey physically but a journey to atonement. Hassan’s son, his nephew saved, Amir’s sin was finally washed. Like the life of circle, Amir ran kite for his miserable nephew.As Hassan did to him, he said “for you , a thousand times over” to Sohrab.Though the book doesn’t give us an accurate ending whether Sohrab came into life again. I am sure love can cure everything. Only when Sohrab lives a happy life as Hassan hoped can Amir’s sin washed up.

The friendship between Hassan and Amir moved me. I believe All the people who read it is going to be touched just as I am. This book does make me think the good and the bad ,what’s wrong and what’s right, the cruelty of war . Few books can exert an influence on people nowadays, this book sure does.

我认为读书的最大乐趣无过于挑剔了。《老人与海》是我最想吐槽的一本书。

《老人与海》这本书中讲的是老人桑提阿果出海打鱼，历经三天三夜与大海搏斗的故事，最终只是拉回了一条金枪鱼的骨架的故事，可是这骨架有用吗？没有用费那么多力气拖回来干什么？

这个故事有时会被人们认为很励志。但是首先，在捕到金枪鱼后，连人带船被金枪鱼拖着在海面上走。就算是条鱼受伤之后，不可能连人带船在海上航行将近两天，最多只能支撑一天，一天之后它就会筋疲力尽，最后死亡；其次，受伤之后即使钢叉叉着，也会有血腥味，会引来各种鱼类进行捕食，由于金枪鱼有一个人和一条船的负担，加之它受伤了，速度不可能和原来一样快，很快金枪鱼就会被这样一些捕食者猎食，不可能维持两天，作者把这条鱼太神化了。

第二，这条金枪鱼被老人成功捕获后，在航行回去的途中，老人遇到了鲨鱼，当时的情况是：老人只拿了一块木板。作者在《老人与海》中写到老人用木板狠狠地击打着鲨鱼的脑袋，这木板的力量是得有多大啊，当时还有鲨鱼在旁边啃食着，老人只用木板就驱走了它们？这把老人太神化了！其实鱼类的智商是很高的，它们就这样甘愿被动挨打？那可是鲨鱼！不可能老人在两次攻击后还完好无损地回去。真实才可信，可信才感人。

挑剔书我们才能真正地读进去，领悟作者的意图。让我们尝试着挑剔吧，挑剔才真正读进了书本！

《老人与海》这本书是很值得我们看的一本名著，为什么呢?因为它里面包含了许多值得我们学习的精神!

这本书主要讲了一位叫桑提亚哥的老渔夫，他似乎运气不怎么好，已经连续80几天没有钓到鱼了，但他丝毫没有放弃的念头，总是抱着希望去迎接新的一天，终于，在他出海的第85天(前84天一无所获)，钓到了身子比船还长的大马林鱼，马林鱼拖着他在海面上行驶了3天3夜，途中饥饿的威胁，左手抽筋，睡眠不足……但他不气馁，不放弃，在遇到困难时，有两个选择，一是放弃，二是接受挑战，在两个选择中，他选择了挑战，勇敢地走下去，而不是知难而退，这个伟大的渔夫，就在他把马林鱼钓起来杀时，血腥味引来了鲨鱼，他和鲨鱼进行着搏斗，鲨鱼一口一口地咬着大鱼，当老人战胜鲨鱼时，马林鱼只剩下一副骨架了，老人只好怏怏而回。

这三天三夜里，老人遇到种.种艰难险阻，他都克服了，可惜的是，辛辛苦苦钓来的鱼又被鲨鱼吃了，但是来人还是像往常一样报着希望去迎接新的一天，我想坚持不懈，勇往直前，毫不气馁就是他所在的精神吧!

梦想就在前方，努力地去争取吧，可能在通往梦想的道路上会遇到数不尽的艰辛、苦难，但，一旦你朝着梦想努力，总有一天你会达到目标，并且为自己而自豪。有的时候，已经到了，梦想却从你身边溜走，也许你会失望，会灰心，但请不要这样，回头看看，看看你经历过的一切，你战胜过多少艰难险阻，你已经何等的勇敢！

在这篇文章里，处处刻画出了桑提亚哥的性格，他孤独，乐观，计划做事，不打无准备之仗，他目标远大，永不言弃。这些性格都给了我们种种启示。

他曾有妻子，但已去世的妻子只成了画像。他也有过年轻时的辉煌，并曾在角力中荣获过人人羡慕的“冠军”。但是现在，他却成了一面古老破败、伤痕累累的旗。他不再梦见风暴，不再梦见伟迹，不再梦见大鱼，不再梦见搏斗，不再梦见角力，不再梦见他的妻子。现在的他，仿佛已一无所有。但是，他不被孤独所羁绊，依然努力地工作着，偶尔也会有怀念，但是他知道，他拥有整片大海！他告诉我们——人，要懂得耐住寂寞。

84天没钓到一条鱼！这是给一个渔人多么大的打击！可是桑提亚哥并不灰心，他乐观的对待一切。他知道，只有保持一颗积极向上，乐观的心，他才能永不止步的前进下去。生活中的我们也要保持乐观的心态，不要消极处事。当然，乐观不代表“傻开心”，而是一种对生活的积极态度。——请保持乐观，这是桑提亚哥给我们的启示。

在漫长寒假中，我读了老人与海这本中外的文学名著，书中的那位老人是一位顽强拼搏、有着斗争精神的纯朴的古巴渔民，这是一段它与一条大鱼搏斗的精彩的冒险故事。

故事发生在是在二十世纪中叶的古巴。主角是一位圣地亚哥的平凡老渔夫，这位老渔夫在连续八十四天没捕到鱼的失败下，与人们的嘲笑声中，乐观的一如既往去捕鱼，终于在八十五天时钓到一条比船身还大的鱼，经过两天两夜的搏斗，终于征服了大鱼，但在回程的路上，被一群饥肠辘辘的鲨鱼野蛮地夺走鲜美的鱼肉。

这位老人看似是失败的，因他最终还是没能保住大鱼被夺走，空手而归;但是他的精神上却闪烁着成功的辉煌，我们可以看到老人伤口中的鲜血，却看不到老人眼中的泪水。对，正如书中说的那样“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能给打败。”一个人的肉体上可以被摧毁，但精神上是不会屈服的，即使结果不是圆满的，但他的过程是充满奋斗与精彩，他最终还是征服了大鱼，就算空手而归，只要奋斗过，努力过，我们都为他喝彩!

这本书令我回想起了运动会上的那一幕，枪声一响，同学们每一个都像离弦的箭奔向终点，我也奋力向前跑去，也看着终点伸手可望，但这时候，我不知道被什么东西重重地绊了一脚，胜利的曙光消失，我失落的回到班级，同学却安慰失落的我，亲切地说：“虽然你没有获得名次，但是我看到你努力过了，我为你喝彩，而且你能下次也可以再参加呀!”我恍然大悟、豁然开朗，脸上又绽放出了灿烂的笑容，是啊!只要奋斗过，努力过，不管是否成功，我们的精神上都收获了成果。

我们应该像书中的老人学习，学习他的乐观向上，学习他的勇猛拼搏，学习他的努力过不后悔!

阴暗的天空，波涛起伏的海面，一只小船摇摇晃晃的行驶着，一个老人站在船上，孤独地眺望着远方……

这是我和上书后久久不能忘怀的场景。书名为《老人与海》，是一部寓意深远的古典悲剧式的小说，也一部英雄主义的交响曲。

海明威说：“我试图描写一个真正的老人，一个真正的孩子，真正的大海，一条真正的鱼和许多真正的鲨鱼。然而，如果我能写得足够逼真的话，他们也能代表许多其他的事物。”故事描写的老人圣地亚哥是个倒霉的人，84天没捕到鱼，而别的渔夫都把他看做失败者。但这似乎预示着一场战斗的开始，果然，就在第85天，他真的发现了一条1500磅大马哈鱼，明知对方力量比他强，还是决心战斗到底。他对大鱼说：“我跟你奉陪到底!”，最后终获胜利。在老人辛辛苦苦抓到了鱼之后，考验却并没有结束。鱼因为又大又长，他只好将鱼绑在船的一边。回航时，大鱼的血腥味引来了鲨鱼一次又一次的袭击。于是，他用尽一切个人手段来反击。鱼叉被鲨鱼带走了，他把小刀绑在桨上乱扎。刀子折断了，他用短棍。短棍也丢了，他外用舵把来打。尽管结果鱼肉都被咬去了，但什么也无法摧残他的意志。上天似乎会怜惜过这样一位伟大的老人，他将厄运一次又一次降在老人身上，最终他的顽强意志却并没能得到好的结果，回港时只剩下鱼头鱼尾和一条脊骨。

败在没有捕到一条有用的鱼，胜在遇到困难时的坚毅不屈。

老人说，一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你可以消灭他，却不能打败他。这句话令我印象深刻且受益，令我度过了一个又一个困难，走向美好明天。假如能够从失败中获取有益的经验，发现成功的曙光，把失败看成是同乡成功的必经之路，那才是从失败中获取的最大的收获。

虽然小说是小说，生活是生活，我们不可能像老人去一个苍茫的大海，不服输地和鲨鱼搏斗，但我们可以在摔倒后，珍藏那枚把我们绊倒的石头，然后带着它，负着伤，继续前行，同时等待天空中的云雾拨开。
