Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

在外打工是我感到最有成就的事情。我在我们小区的物业“上班”，离家近并且妈妈也是在那里上班，我就像妈妈的左膀右臂，帮妈妈分担每天的工作量，让妈妈不那么劳累。

而就在短短一下午的时间，我就接听了近五十个电话，口干舌燥的我，所喝的水是我平常近十天的量。“上班”所布置的任务我也都很出色的完成了，领到妈妈给我发的人生中的第一份工资，我也甚是骄傲。工资都是小事，可是能帮妈妈分担工作，我就充满了成就感。

去补课是我感到最有用的，而且在那里见到了自从小学毕业就再也没有见过的好朋友，我们俩当时的关系就很要好，只不过现在上初中了没有在一个学校，学业也是繁忙，就再也没有见面。这次的补课能让我们重新相遇，也算是在学知识的同时给我的另一个惊喜。在补课期间，复习课文，老师要求分组讲解，我们是一组，我当主讲。看着其他小组出色地完成，我心里不由紧张，不过在我们讲解的过程中互帮互助，虽有瑕疵，也算很好的完成了任务。

在结束的全班考试中，我考了113分，全班第二名，真可谓是“功夫不负有心人”，既收获了知识，又收获了友情。

这个暑假真是绚丽多彩，过得也非常充实，希望以后的暑假都可以像今年这样这么充实。

五一那天，我跟着父母一起去了青州云门山玩儿，那里的风景优美，景色宜人，还没有爬山，我老远就看到了一条瀑布正对山顶。我爬山的兴致一下子上来了。

我们开始爬山了，每到一个中心点就会看见几个道士。听妈妈讲，这些道士不像以前那些算命的先生，他们是讲法说道的居士，很有学问的。

今天是五一节的第二天，我和妈妈、爸爸去世博园，世博园我已经去过多次，但是，这次很特别，

今天天气还算不错，只是有些闷热。

我们乘坐出租车来到世博园门口，见到了许多车，我想，今天世博园一定很热闹，还有五颜六色的各国国旗在大门口随风飘扬，要进门的时候，有个小猴子在欢迎我们。

我们就进去了，啊！一片花海呈现在我眼前，花海中漂浮着一个巨大的花钟，远处开来一艘花船，那五个花柱仿佛是海中的航标灯，沿着花街走去，就是大温室，大温室的门口有一群白色的鸽子，许多游人在喂它们，可爱极了，大温室里有高山植物馆、热带植物馆、百花园，各样珍稀的花草，让我们看得眼花缭乱。

我苦苦期盼的“五一”终于来了，我们一家人邀上楼下的朋友一起去赣州“宝葫芦农庄”。以前我总是会晕车的，这次竟然精神抖擞，欣赏着车窗外的景色，心儿也跟着飞起来，情不自禁地哼着歌，不知不觉就到达了向往已久的目的地。

一下车，放眼一瞧，真壮观哪！各色各样的小车，熙熙攘攘，排着长队；男女老少，摩肩接踵，人声鼎沸。在喧闹声中，我依稀听到人们的惊叫声。我的心被这叫声紧紧地抓住了，不由自主地迈步朝里走，家人在后面大声叫：“跑那么快干嘛？……”嘿嘿！我可不管了，等不及啦！

我们首先去走迷宫。这迷宫真是名副其实，人走进去，全“迷”了！我楞了片刻，决定先碰碰运气，管它南北西东，边走边看，结果当然是碰了几鼻子灰。眼见时间一分一秒地流逝，还在徒劳无功地转悠，我不禁心急如焚。情急之下，我横下一条心，沿着篱笆走，看到可以进入的入口就进去，终于，我第一个“重见天日”啦！

我们玩的第二个项目是攀岩。站在岩壁前，伙伴不由得叫了一声：“这么陡！怎么上？”我一看，是啊！岩壁只有三层楼房那么高，但却直直地矗立着。虽然有辅助的铁杆可以踩，但铁杆之间间隔比较大，要爬起来还是有难度。不过我们可不愿意放弃，决定与它一决高下。我像只蜘蛛一样身子紧贴着岩壁，左右开弓，两手轮换着紧抓住铁杆，还得时时关注脚下，步步踩实，生怕“一失足成千古恨”。有时手不够着，就得想方设法踮起脚，伸长手，小心翼翼地移动。爬上顶点的那一刻，我和伙伴都兴奋地“耶”起来！

接着，我们去乘坐了大型三环过山车。一阵阵轰鸣，一声声惊叫，听着就让人心惊胆战，不过这反倒激起了我们几个小孩强烈的挑战欲望。迫不及待地买好票，又开始了新的激情体验。缓缓开动的过山车，眨眼间越转越快，我的心骤然提了起来，似乎随时都会蹦出胸膛，头也像要炸裂了，耳边只能听见惊叫和飕飕的风声……

惊魂初定，我们又玩了一把碰碰车，最后还在赛马场上过了一回骑马的瘾……直到夕阳西下，才恋恋不舍地踏上了回家的班车。朋友们，这么好玩的去处，这么刺激的娱乐——你心动了吗？心动不如行动，赶紧去激情体验一把哦！别忘了，那个地方叫“赣州宝葫芦农庄”。

经过漫长的学习生活，终于让我盼到了快乐的假期生活。

我妈为了让我这个假期过的充实些，帮我报了一个月的补习班，虽然又要学习了但这也是为了我好。本以为这个假期可以放松一下，可谁知道又要进入学习中了。唉！这个快乐的假期生活要泡汤了。

虽然上补习班对于我来说不是一件好事，但是任何事都有好的一面和坏的一面，好的一面是可以跟我的表弟一起度过这个假期；坏的一面也可想而知了，就是要上补习班。我问了一下阿姨，原来我弟和我是一个补习班的，并且是在同一个班级里的。这让我感到一丝欣慰。

我跟我弟玩的非常开心，记得有一天晚上，我感到很无聊就去惹我弟，他被我惹得不耐烦了，于是一场激烈的枕头大战开始了，我手持一个长30CM，宽15CM，厚8CM的抱枕向他的背部展开激烈的攻击，他拿着比我大1倍的抱枕进行防御，当我认为我胜利时，他给我来了一个全力一击，我倒下了，都怪我太轻视敌人，最后使敌方取得了胜利。

我表弟的趣事就像天上的星星数也数不清，记得又一次上补习班时，我弟在和别人聊天时，无意中使出了他的必杀技：“打嗝神功”，顿时那个人傻了眼，过了一会儿才反应过来。从这以后那个人就不跟我弟聊天了，甚至都不敢跟我弟说话。

假期生活过的飞快，一下子就到了说再见的时候了，在回家的时候，我恋恋不舍的看了我弟最后一眼就离开了这个让我快乐的地方。虽然时间过的很快，但是我在这生活的很开心，我决定下个假期还要来这个快乐地方。

在这阳光明媚的一天，我们朝熙假日小队踏着阳光，来到了兴隆大街站义务帮助乘客。

我们首先来到了地铁工作人员的办公室，听工作人员为我们讲解了如何安全乘地铁，如何买票，遇到困难时在哪向工作人员求助等。我们听了之后受益匪浅，无不感叹原来乘地铁还有这么多注意事项。听完工作人员的讲解后，老师分给我们每人一条雏鹰假日小队的红丝带。在老师分配完每个人的任务之后，我们都兴奋地跑到了自己的岗位上。

我的任务是在轧机处提醒乘客应当如何刷卡。我细心等待着每一位乘客，不一会儿，迎面朝我走来一个笑眯眯的老奶奶。她走到轧机旁，我提醒她站在红线外刷卡，她听了后，开心地摸了摸我的小脑袋，直夸我是好孩子，然后顺利地进入了地铁。又来了一个小伙子，只见他刷了卡后，轧机没有开，我看了看轧机上的屏幕写着余额不足，我便说：“叔叔，这张卡没有钱了。”于是，我带着他来到了自动售票机前，帮助他买完票后，他感激地说：“谢谢你。”我听到这句话时，心里甜滋滋的，原来帮助人是一件这么愉快的事啊！

不知不觉，活动就到了尾声。我们聚集在一起，与地铁工作人员合了影。除此之外，我们都还得到了一张奖状，每个人脸上都笑开了花，我心中不由得感叹：“我以后要帮助更多的人，做一个守法，乐于助人的好公民。”
