My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy

about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

Basketball requires speed, height and skills. I run, jump, switch, and try

to hit! All parts of my body are exercised in this sport. I feel that I’m like

wind flying in the playground for my goal, which makes me feel so GREat!

Basketball needs quick reaction and decision. When chance comes, it may

disappear in the next second. I should keep an eye watching as an eagle, decide

and judge quickly as a leopard, and run for it as a wolf.

Further more, basketball is a sports more than just exercising, It needs

team work. No one can play himself. A team should work together. So I learn to

cooperate with others in this game. I should understand what my teammate doing

I played basketball more for about 5 years now. I make many good friends

throught this sports. It is proud to win honor for my team and my school. Also I

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus.It is about thirty miles from the city.We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.

As soon as we got there,we began to climb up the mountains.How great the sight is!We felt as if we had entered amother world full of beauty,peaeefulness and loveliness.There are hundreds of mountains,one after another.there are magnificent cliffs,one above another.We climbed up vigorously and breathed the fresh air greedily.As the sun was going down,we descended to a little hotel at the foot of the hill,where we had a big dinner,and then went to bed early so as to regain the energy ior the expedition next morning.

Before daybreak,we reached the peak of the highest mountain after a hard groping and climbing in the dark.Unaware of the cold wind,we stood motionlessly,with our eyes fixing at the hr end of the east.Suddenly thin ravs of red hue spread across the sky.As the redness deepened,some mysterious clouds moved across thc sky,dividing heaven from the earth.Just at this moment,up from the brightening far east rose the sun.It was so red and yet so tender that we could gaze at it with naked eyes.and a slight applause from us.the amazed spectators,rang through the peak.Up,up it rose,adding to itself strength and glory at every step.It dazzled with vigour,driving away darkness,cold,and misery from the earth,and bring light,warmth,and happiness to men.

We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature.We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

走进动物园，今天的人可真多啊！首先映入眼帘的是豹馆，一排玻璃房里有各类品种的豹子，其中有金钱豹它那身上的花纹真像古时候的铜钱；还有黑豹，乌黑光亮的皮毛引人注目；还有老虎，老虎头上的黑色王字告诉我们森林之王在这里呢！

与豹馆相邻的是熊猫馆，一只只憨态可掬的大熊猫躲在房子的角落里，有的正在吃着美味的竹子，有的正在玩游戏。熊猫全身都是黑白相间的绒毛，这时一只胖乎乎的小熊猫正一摇一摆地向我们走过来，大家马上拿起相机拍照，那只熊猫简直就是大明星了。

我还去了百鸟谷，百鸟谷里有各种各样的鸟，有颜色鲜艳的鹦鹉，头上没羽毛的秃鹫，雪白的孔雀女王，黑色斑点和白色斑点的野鸡等等。百鸟谷里还有一所鸟艺馆，里面有会打滚的白色鹦鹉，会跳舞的红色鹦鹉，大家看到她们的表演都哈哈大笑起来。

哥哥个子很高，人很瘦，但力气很大，他打起羽毛球来就像个下山的猛虎，勇猛而敏捷。但和我打就变成了一个温柔的大哥哥，总是让着我。在这个假期里，让我最开心的一件事就是和哥哥一起烤番薯。

10月3日的早晨，我和哥哥约好一起烤番薯。首先，我们找来了几块平整的大石头，哥哥搬大的，我搬小的。我俩在奶奶家的院子里搭了一个灶，然后把洗好的蕃薯放进盛满水的锅里。可是有锅有灶没有火怎么行呢!所以，我和哥哥找来了柴火和打火机，顺利地点燃了灶，但没过一会儿火就熄灭了。哥哥看着我垂头丧气的样子说：“没关系，咱们再来!”这一次，我们用报纸点燃了干树枝，看着熊熊燃烧的火焰，我又放了许多柴火。水慢慢地沸了，番薯渐渐地熟了，而我和哥哥的脸也变成了“大花猫”和“小花猫”，我们互相看着对方，都哈哈大笑起来。

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

这个暑假我看了一部非常有价值的电影《英雄儿女》，一个镜头时常浮现在眼前：硝烟弥漫漫的高地，面对满山遍野往上爬来的敌军，志愿军战士王成，怒目圆睁，对着对讲机大声呼喊：“为了祖国，向我开炮！”我军指挥员为之震惊，接着大炮齐射。在滚滚浓烟中王成兴奋喊着：“打得好，再近一点！”大炮继续轰鸣，为英雄唱着赞歌。看了电影后，我深深为王成的形象所感动。他使多少人深受教育，也使多少人懂得应该怎样学习、工作和生活。

在暑假期间我还去了牒吴农耕文化园。那天正是亭午之时，天气酷热，所以游人很少。那里存放着石器时代和民国时期的各个时期的劳动工具，琳琅满目的物品映入眼帘，有：石斧，石锄，犁……应有尽有，其中还介绍了古时帝王所做的大事和时代的习俗，早先用于存放粮食的粮仓。古人买卖用的地契。通过这次参观，让我知道了古代人是如何生活，让我更清楚地了解了历史。

我还去赚了我的第一桶金，雏鹰展翅的我认为赚钱易如反掌，可经过几天，却让我痛苦难堪。当好一个饭店服务员，却比登天还要难，没两天就让我腰酸腿疼。但这能让我更好的体会到大人们的不容易，花钱容易赚钱难。今后我可不敢再乱花钱了。

虽然假期生活已经过去，但是假期里的多彩生活就像一颗颗闪亮的珍珠一般，保存在记忆的最深处。

假期，我来到了著名的主题公园——嘟嘟城儿童乐园玩。

一进嘟嘟城五彩缤纷的大门，我就看见几台模拟开车机器。我毫不犹豫地坐了上去，开起了车。开始我总是把车开到草丛中，后来我慢慢掌握了技巧，车开得也得心应手起来。没想到，由于开得好，竟获得了老师奖的五元优惠券。

在这“开门红”后，我就开始应聘“工作”了。我的第一个“工作”是工商银行的大堂经理。我换上工作服，开始了培训。经理的工作很简单，只要问顾客们一些问题，让存钱的小顾客们填写单子，然后输入电脑就行了。我了解了这个步骤之后，马上开始了工作，并赢得了经理姐姐的认可，得到了我的第一笔工资16元的嘟嘟币。

在赚钱的喜悦中，我奔向了下一个工作——航海员。我穿上了漂亮的航海服。航海雷达、速度器……在我的手里慢慢地熟悉。这样我又赚到了第二份工资。

在接下来的时间，我又应聘了考古、商店、缉毒警察等。等到快关门的时候，凭着赚到的工资，我还兑换了小小的纪念品，依依不舍地离开了嘟嘟城。

现在嘟嘟城的市民卡还静静地躺在我的抽屉里，每当我看见它的时候，总会想起在那里的欢乐时光。嘟嘟城，我还会再来的。

下午一点半的时候，我和余盼妮乘着她舅妈的新车，用了不到五分钟的时间，就来到了江东区公共图书馆，我们假日小队的队长梁宇翔早已等在了公共图书馆的门口。因为我们是最早来的，所以我在那还看了半个小时的图书。直到两点这样的时候，人才陆陆续续的到齐了。队长梁宇翔一声令下，我们就一排排整起书来。说实话，整书一点都不难，大多数的书都是整整齐齐的摆放在书架上，想一个个排着整齐队伍的士兵。我们齐心协力，书架我们不到一个小时就整得干干净净。连不苟言笑的guǎn lǐ员阿姨也对我们赞不绝口。走出公共图书馆已经是下午三点了，周吉很大方，请我们吃了一顿kfc，说要好好犒劳我们一下。吃饱喝足之后，我们依依不舍的告别，就回到了家。
