泸沽湖位于四川省云南交界的地方，面积49、5平方公里，全长9、5公里，又叫左所海。这里住着传统的摩梭族人，十分淳朴。这里的房屋都是用木头做的，冬暖夏凉。

十月二日傍晚，我和爸爸妈妈驱车去龙泉湖看水灯，在苍茫的夜色中，车像流水一样，有自行车、三轮车、摩托车、小轿车……车上都载满了人，老人、小孩都穿着厚厚的`棉袄，年轻的妈妈还抱着婴儿。路上上的车走走停停，像乌龟一般爬行着，有时一个红灯要等半个小时，终于到了龙泉湖。
