初五也叫“破五”，是送年的意思，传统的送年也要吃饺子，而且饺子里还要包上钱、枣、糖，每样包上6个。意思是：如果吃到带钱的饺子，这一年就会发财，如果吃到带枣的饺子，这一年就会好运早来；如果吃到带糖的饺子，这一年就会过的“甜甜蜜蜜”一家人就会和和睦睦。6是吉祥的数字。虽然这只是人们对新年的期望，但我们家还是继承了这种传统。

俗话说得好“入乡随俗”，既然我来到了爷爷家，就应该按照这儿的风俗习惯给长辈磕头拜年。我在吃早饭之前，就开始准备给爷爷奶奶拜年了。因为以前没有磕过头，妈妈特意为我准备了一个厚实的垫子。我满以为这样万无一失，就“扑通”一声双膝跪下，可没有想到这个垫子中看不中用，我的脑袋“呯”的一声撞在地上，头上马上就起了一个包。这是我第一次给长辈拜年，虽然有些疼痛难忍，我还是故作镇定，强笑着说“祝爷爷奶奶身体健康，新年快乐，万事如意”。

周围的家人被我的“良好”表现乐得合不拢嘴。爷爷见我第一次拜年就这样“卖力”，忙说“行了，行了”，并笑着把我扶了起来。奶奶一边心疼地摸着我的头，一边从口袋里掏出胀鼓鼓的红包向我手里塞。看着爷爷奶奶开心的笑容，我早把疼痛抛到了九霄云外。

晚上，我们一家还做起了团子。将准备好的豆沙馅料包进面粉团内。看似简单，母亲倒是包的有模有样，我包的总是奇形怪状，要不太扁，像馅饼；要不太厚，馅可能只能尝到一点，剩下，只能吃面团 了。想着，都觉得难吃啊。不知道做到第几个团子，终于能做得又圆但又大小适中了，不容易啊。一旁的母亲见我脸上都有面粉，活像一个大花猫了，不光自己笑，还将父亲叫来看我的囧样。而我，则 跑去洗手间一照镜子，也哈哈大笑，简直是个白脸妖怪。在欢声笑语中，年味仿佛又浓了许多。

大年三十的晚上，家家户户都要吃年饭。我们也不例外。

饭桌上，全家人边吃饭边聊天，要是平时在饭桌上叽叽喳喳，肯定是要被长辈责怪了。爷爷和父亲边酒边聊天。突然爷爷好像有重要的事情要说了，皱起了眉头，还有点严肃。爷爷语重心长地说：“工 作是重要的，可是不要忘了家庭，出去应酬少喝点酒，伤身体啊！”听了爷爷的话，父亲连连点头。见父亲点头了，爷爷的眉头也慢慢舒展开来，如同拨云见日般的，脸上露出了笑容。奶奶见了，在一 旁说道：“好了好了，大过年的，不谈这些严肃的事了。”才三年级的妹妹，也学着奶奶催人的样子：“就是，就是，快吃菜，菜都要凉了！”看着妹妹的样子，全家人都笑了。

We often hear people say, “Never give up.” A person who believes in these

my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have.

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

One reason is that if we give up easily, we will achieve nothing. It is not

unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not

feel discouraged. Besides, if we always give up when fail happens, we will can

not develop new skills. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to

reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed
