Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。

明天就是春节，我非常高兴，想着能吃到美味饭菜，香喷喷点心，还能得到很多压岁钱，我越想越高兴，当晚我兴奋得一夜都没睡，脑子里想全是饭菜，点心、压岁钱，还有那漂亮新衣服，可爱玩具……

春节早上，我第一个从床上跳起来，抖抖擞精神，活动活动筋骨，然后高高兴兴去叫爸妈，爸爸见我起得这么早，也不甘落后，从床上翻身便爬起来，妈妈和姐姐也陆续地起床，洗完脸刷完牙，一心想到就是吃个痛快！一想到吃，我就来劲，忙向爸妈建议做这做那，妈妈是我家主厨，因此做什么由她这位裁判来决定，妈妈说：“很久没吃过饺子，包些饺子吃吧。”我们都非常赞同。

决定做什么以后，我们便分工进行，爸爸做肉馅，妈妈揉面，我和姐姐烧水。我们干起来都十分有劲，不到半个小时，肉馅弄好，饺子也弄好，水也快烧开。妈妈便熟练地包起饺来，我和姐姐也学着包起来，我好不容易包三个，累死，还真难学啊！妈妈说：“我就天生会做啊，不吃点苦，努力学，怎么能学得好呢？”我听有点惭愧，便吸取教训，重新扬起风帆，认认真真地包起来，这下做得更快一些。这就使我明白一个道理：学什么都应该刻苦。

过大概二十多分钟，揉面已经全部做成饺子，我和姐姐烧水也已经在锅里翻江倒海。妈妈便把饺子放进锅里，煮起来。妈妈在中途还加一些佐料，使饺子更加好吃约摸过十多分钟吧，妈妈便把饺子捞起来，分成四碗，在每碗中还放一些汤。我妈刚弄好汤，我便抢一碗津津有味地吃个痛快！由于吃得太快，舌头都火辣辣。

我们个个都吃得满嘴是油，便欢天喜地去看精彩电视节目。

啊，真是一个快乐春节啊！

1月27日下午，我与爸爸、妈妈在爷爷的院子里开展了激烈的羽毛球比赛，规则是这样的：打五局，五局三胜为赢者，五局三败者为输者，输者要给赢者刮三个鼻子。

I am really happy, is really a happy Spring Festival!

春节，是我们中华民族一个重要的节日，要贴春联，放鞭炮，守岁，拜年，等等等等。不同的民族有不同的习俗。

大年三十，我们全家换上新衣，贴上新春联，准备迎接新年的到来。晚上，我们全家吃着饺子，饺子有一层寓意:财源滚滚。因为饺子像一个元宝，在古时候元宝就是钱。守岁一定少不了>,没有>,守岁就没有意思。我们一家坐在沙发上，欢声笑语，看着>，其乐融融。

大年初一，我和爸爸坐着自家的车，走在新修的大路上，虽然寒风刺骨，但还是欢乐无比。到了奶奶家，我跟奶奶拜了一个年得到了一个大红包，心想：今年发财喽!然后和奶奶的街坊邻居拜了个年。接着来到了大伯家，来到大伯家，就如来到书的天堂，有故事类，科学类，艺术类……在大伯家吃完饭之后，我收到了红包和一些书,我要一点点把着些书消化掉。来到大伯家真高兴!

我今年真高兴，真是一个快乐的春节!

一年一度的大年三十又到了，今天晚上我吃完年三 十的饺子。等到六点钟路灯亮起来了，我就那上礼花，我找来庆林和永利。我们拿着礼花迈着轻快的步子向村里的广场走去。

来到广场，我们三个以为走错了地方，我们寻看了一下是我们村的广场。广场四周安上了霓虹灯，在树上还有许多彩灯，石凳旁边还有些假花，十分美丽。没想到在这几天的时间里大队里的工作人员竟把广场弄得这么美丽。

我们玩着玩着看到天空中开起了美丽的礼花，我们三个突然想起手中的礼花。我们就来到广场中央，各自把礼花放好，同时点燃导线，礼花升空了。庆林放的飞毛腿飞到高空中，啪的一声从圆球里飞出了五颜六色的小球；永利放的流星雨各都飞到高空，五颜六色真像一个个流星划过天空；而我放的是微型小导弹，它飞到高高的空中，啪的一声散出了许多黄色的小球，就像一粒粒珍珠似的。

放完礼花后，我一看手表：“不好！已经八点十分了，新年晚会已经演了十分钟了。”我们三个拔腿就往家跑。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

昨晚看完了春晚才睡下，睡意朦胧的我被炮竹惊醒，迷迷糊糊起来了，便想着今天有什么好玩的。

我和表哥拿着刚买的摔炮，可摔来摔去没什么新意，我不经意间再到摔炮时，尽然也爆了，虽然吓着了自己，但发现了摔炮能被踩爆的性质，鬼点子就源源不断往上冒，如果我将这合摔炮随意散布在地面四周，这样一来，摔炮就变得有意思多了！

说干就干，我表哥先去捡些摔炮壳，能够拿来伪装，路人就不会有疑心，踩去也不会有问题。我就先布置摔炮，尽量放到能被人踩到的地方。久等了会，终于来了个悠闲散步的路人，旁边的小狗也紧随与他。他一步步逼近着“小地雷”，我们屏气凝神期待这一部好戏上演，跨过一个摔炮，第二个。“砰”，哈哈，还是防不胜防啊，我们一股脑笑了出来，他依旧呆站着，悠闲时被吓了一跳，心都要蹦出来了吧，狗已经跑的的不见踪影，回过神来时，发现还在笑得我们，便翻了个白眼给我们，跑走了。

过年的第一个恶作剧正是有趣啊！

到了晚上八点，人们都会打开电视机观看《春节联欢晚会》，我也不例外。爸爸看着里面的人在唱，他也不由自主的唱了起来，可是声音实在不怎么样，我和妈妈都说他唱得好难听，哈哈。到了晚上九点多的时候，我拿着从外面买来的烟花出去放，我看见邻居有几个小孩子也出来放，而且比我来得早，所以我和他们一起去放。在夜晚来临的时候，在各式各样烟花绽放时，天空中一片片闪亮的光。小伙伴的脸上都笑开了花，今天可真开心啊！

这就是中国的过年，是一年中最热闹的时候！也是我们送走旧年，迎接新年的时候！

我喜欢过年，不仅仅因为它热闹、喜庆，还因为它给人一种温馨、快乐又充满希望的感觉，所以家家户户都想过年。过年了，新的一年，新的开始！让我们满载着祝福和希望，放飞我们的梦想吧！

Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year,is the most important

holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy

preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy

new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from

their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion.

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.The

first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends adn wish

each other good luck in the new year.
